"You're not half as tough as you think you are!" A young boy shouted, who was apparently a recent graduate of the academy.
"Then why is it you can't beat me?" Mitsuko asked sarcastically, arms crossed and smirking confidently.
The two boys were standing outside a small hut, and a bit of a crowd of young genin had gathered. It all begun inside the hut, actually. It seemed that a few of the kids from Mitsuko's graduating class had decided to celebrate their graduation at the restaurant. The pride and joy of the Subeki had of course been invited, but he had decided not to go. Unfortunately for him, he'd forgotten that his classmates were there, and had happened to be there when they all arrived. So the cool points he figured he'd get by standing up the invitation were lost. Valuable cool points. Nevertheless, many of his classmates were excited to see him, and gleefully approached him and struck up a conversation. A young girl seemed to especially happy at his arrival, as she was the one who came up with the idea. They talked, more at Mitsuko than with him, as he sat there and casually sipped some warm beverage, occasionally gracing the group with some short response.
Despite his outward lack of interest, Mitsuko was silently proud of the fact that some of the genin had left the group just to talk to him. Badass. Maybe the whole thing hadn't been a waste of time after all. However, a couple of boys from the group had taken up a table close to Mituko's own, and seemed to be seething with anger. One boy in particular, Rai, was infuriated by the fact that the girl who first approached the arrogant ninja had done so. He had a crush on the girl, and began angrily discussing how cocky the blue haired ninja was. His friends agreed, and one of them uttered: "He thinks he's so cool. He's not even that good." While they all nodded in agreement, Rai seemed to concur more so than his friends. He's all talk, no walk. If anyone ever challenged him, she would see how much of a wimp he really is. Hell, I could take him down myself. That thought was a pretty good one, Rai figured. Time to act.
"Hey, loser!" He exclaimed, as he pushed through the small crowd to get to Mitsuko, who didn't even look up at the boy. He'd just assumed that the name 'loser' could not possibly be used in reference to him. "I'm talking to YOU!" Rai yelled once more, slamming his hands onto the table for effect. The shockwave had spilled some of Mitsuko's exceptionally boiling drink onto his hands. He looked up with a raised eyebrow and addressed the boy. "Need something?" Rai snarled at those words. Even with two words, that jerk had managed to be irritatingly superior. "Yeah, I need you stop pretending you're better than us!"
"Give it a rest, Rai." The girl who had caused all the drama spoke up. "You're such a hothead." This however, only served to aggrivate the situation.
"No. Just because the teachers liked him and cuz he puffs out his chest doesn't mean he's superior. It's just an act. Isn't that right, Mitsuko?"
"Whatever." He responded nonchalantly, wiping his hands off the hot liquid and turning his face away.
"Don't just sit there! You know, my pop told me all about the Subeki. You'll be a failure just like the rest of 'em." He scoffed. "I could take you down."
"Is that so?" And despite the best efforts of their classmates, Mitsuko stood up and began walking outside. "I'll show you what a Subeki can do." The girl kept pleading with Rai, who didn't cave in. "I'm tired of him." His friends were confident in the boy, even though he was not one of the best students. It was likely the adrenaline and their shared hatred of that incarnation of the Subeki clan. Rai followed Mitsuko through the doors and behind the restaraunt. The kids followed as well. So know they spoke their taunting lines (as mentioned above), and prepared to fight. The girl gave one last plea to the both of them. "Please don't fight." Rai had his pride at stake. The Subeki had been insulted. It was gonna happen. Rai charged at Mitsuko, with a loud battle cry and a fist swinging for his head. He tilted his head to the left, narrowly avoiding the fist.
"Missed."
"Shut up!" Another swing, another dodge. "Damn it!" Rai swung again, missing, but used his other hand to pull a kunai, which he used to stab at Mitsuko's side. He wasn't expecting blades to be involved, so the move caught him off guard and he was grazed by the knife. "Gotcha." The boy continued the onslaught of stabs and punches, while the classmates looked on in horror. They were appalled at Rai pulling a knife. They expected a spar, not a battle. However angry Mitsuko was at actually being hit by one of the worst in the class, he thought nothing of it. "Lucky shot." He said calmly, for nothing more than to seem cool. "Ha, you can't even atta-" As the boy tried to finish his taunt, the prideful ninja delivered a powerful blow to Rai's stomach. "Wha?" A follow up kick to the ribs sent the boy tumbling to the ground. "We're done. Water Style: Violent Water Wave." Rai snarled, and tried to get up, but found a wave crashing towards him. The wave picked him up and slammed him to a tree, ending the match.
Rai's friends ran to him, picking up the wounded boy and running off with him. Mitsuko's "fans" all went as well, to check on the boy. Mitsuko leaned on the hut, sighing. Man, I'm a badass. Sure he won handily, but Rai was the worst kid in the class. And he had been wounded after all, and the bit of blood that leaked from it reminded him of that. And he noticed another one, on his opposite side, and one more on his wrist. Actually, a few of his dodges were quite a bit of luck. Still, he won, and looked cool doing it. The fight had caused some ruckus though, and he hoped in wouldn't attract too much attention. He relaxed their, looking calm and cocky.

Unfortunately for Mitsuko someone had been attracted by the fight. Specifically an ANBU attracted by the release of a C-Rank Ninjutsu somewhere OTHER than a sanctioned training grounds. Jun Li, Codename Mugon (Silence), was currently watching the pride of the Subeki clan act like a fool. 'Moron, he thinks that just by beating up some idiot who decided to challenge him he looks cool? Should I show him what a REAL shinobi is like or just make sure he doesn't do something so stupid again?... I should probably get him to a hospital too. That would looks worse than he realizes.' Jun thought as he sighed. Then he grinned. Just because he had to make sure the punk didn't die doesn't mean he has to let him off without a severe warning.
Signaling to the other ANBU who had responded to the chakra fluctuations that he'd deal with this one he quickly formed the handseals for Hidden Mist Jutsu and began sneaking closer to his prey. 'This oughta be fun. I do hope he doesn't scare TOO easily however, not only would that be no fun but he's supposed to be the genin of his year. If he can't stand up to being suddenly encased in mist it's just sad.' He thought as he sneaked closer applying just a little killing intent into the mist. He also created several water clones to surround the boy just in case this effort was worth it.

Well, he was free for the day. Mitsuko has successfully met his quota of cool points for the day. He would have to invent an actual numerical point system to keep track of it. In fact, maybe he could go home and do that right then. He would have to take special care to make sure the old man didn't see it. That would be catastrophic, especially if his father heard he was fighting Rai, and that that weak genin had managed to wound him in battle. There was also the danger of word getting around about the little tussle, though he was confident that the only thing mentioned would be Mitsuko's complete and utter dominance of his peer. Not to mention, his dad would be proud to hear that his son fought to defend the honor of the Subeki. It was his responsibility to build that honor up, and to uphold it. Pressure. But Mitsuko had broad enough shoulders to take on the burden. Or at least, that's what everyone assumed.
As the young ninja pushed off of the wall to his feet, he noticed the mist had begun to thicken. And not slowly, either. That left one explanation. Jutsu. Hidden Mist Jutsu to be precise. The village's signature move, and a specialty of Mitsuko as well. It wasn't hard for him then, a user of that same move, to recognize it quickly. The problem was, who was using the move? It would make sense for it to be Rai or one of his other classmates, but they didn't possess such stealth, and he likely would have picked up their chakra signature. So Rai and his classmates were out of the picture. And judging then, from the thickness of the mist and the speed at which it gathered, along with the aforementioned buisiness about stealthm it had to be a higher level ninja. Why some chuunin or other older shinobi would decide to attack Mitsuko was beyond him, but the 'why' was not an issue. He had to defend himself.
While being a user of the technique had gotten his vision used to the mist, this was too advanced for him to see through. Now he knew just how unsettling it was to have vision taken away from one's arsenal. Other senses would have to take over. He took a defensive stance and focused his ears and concentrated on finding chakra. "I'm not gonna be shaken by a little mist." He smirked, still remaining aware of his surroundings. "So hide all you want. I know how to play this." Now all that was left to wait for his opponent to make a move.

Jun rolled his eyes. 'This little punk, by the looks of it he KNOWS what he's up against, someone of a far greater skill level than himself and yet the punk is STILL arrogant. Ok that's it, kid gloves are coming off... well as off as they can come without me getting in trouble that is.' He thought as in unison himself and his clones used a chakra trick to enhance their voicebox's. "8 choices, Which should I choose? Kidneys," one of his clones unsealed it's ninjato silently, "Heart," Another readied itself for movement, "Liver, lungs, spine," Three more readied themselves to strike quickly and without hesitation. "Clavical, Throat, and Brain" He finished with the final three readying to move. "8 Choices all of which provide instant death before the enemy even hits the ground," He said. Might as well teach the kid a lesson while he did this. He'd learned this trick from stories about Zabuza Momochi. He'd nearly gone on a mission with the man once but wasn't chosen due to being better suited for another mission.
Blurring into motion him and all his clones quickly positioned themselves in a formation around the body of the target, in this case one genin who would hopefully regret taunting an opponent of greater skill than he. Each clone and Jun himself took one of the vital points and held their ninjato in a thrusting position exactly one inch from the boy's flesh. "Lesson one, Do not let arrogance influence your actions in a potentially dangerous atmosphere. Lesson two, Don't do something a certain way just because it makes you look good, it WILL get you killed one day. Now it's time for last but not least, lesson three, Do not EVER use combat ninjutsu outside of the sanctioned training grounds without permission under penalty of being taken before the mizukage to be judged. Fighting is not allowed in this village between yourself and any other genin. Failure to comply with the authorities, specifically myself right now, will cause me to knock you unconcious before taking you to the hospital to get your wounds checked. Do I make myself clear?" This entire little tirade was delivered in a perfectly clear but undeniably harsh voice designed to make genin wish he'd already knocked them out.

Breath, stay calm. I've still got a chance here, no need to panic and look like an idiot. Even if I go down, it'll be with pride. IF I go down, that is. As it stood, he had no real reason to assume he would lose there. Losing wasn't really an option, now that he thought of it. The Subeki had done enough of that already, and he was to break that mold. So he kept his head held high, regardless of the apparent disadvantage he was at. Confidence was key, especially to him. Once a person loses their confidence, they lose the fight, quite simply. Mist was no big deal, he grew up in it. He actually felt comfortable in it, at least when it was his own. So he kept downplaying the situation in his head. In fact, he was a bit proud of himself for not panicng as many other genin would.
Speaking of them, he was quite glad that they had dispursed before this whole fiasco. They would have been danger, and also might have seen him lose, which would be rather embarassing. But now was not the time to worry about his ego, and he tightened his focus. Suddenly, from within the mist, he heard the voice of his enemy. Or seemingly, enemies. But the fact that they all talked in harmony and said the same thing calmed down what was a momentary panic. Either they were really good at synchronizing and being rather creepy, or they were clones. The fact that he could not even identify the number of opponents he was facing was a problem, but he decided to lean towards the clone idea. Mitsuko listened intently to the speech, and waited a bit before responding calmly.
"I'm well aware of that." He said, referencing the eight kill points mentioned by the opponent. ourse, he didn't really know that, it had never been taught to him. But he was aware of the body's vital spots and decided to play it off as if he knew specifically what the enemy was speaking of. As he ready to defend against an attack, it happened. Before he could so much as move to get the ninja away from him, they were upon him, all eight of them. He grimaced and scoffed a bit as the bladescame dangerously close to his body. "Tch..."
And just like that, he was at the mercy of his opponents. No, opponent. A quick scan revealed to him that he was indeed facing one enemy...that was an ANBU. Why the hell would do this to him? Mitsuko listened to the explanation as well, and he didn't quite like it. "To the contrary, ANBU. I feel like I acted correctly in that situation, I don't see what else could have been done." He explained, more for himself and his ego than for the enemy. "I simply used the most effective method of quickly dispatching my opponent, I didn't flaunt anything." His response to the second point was a lie, but it'd be hard to tell. "Not to mention, if I had let it go on, much more serious wounds could have been dealt. Specifically to him." He breathed slowly, making sure he didn't make a move that would end up cutting him. "Regardless of the rules, I will not tolerate insults directed to me or my clan, I'm sure that's understandable." He spoke cooly, calmly, and confidently trying to eep himself from seeming flustered by the eight blades around him or the presence of an ANBU.

Jun grinned underneath his mask. He could detect every sign of fear this genin was giving off and from the looks of it the boy was one step away from both passing out and crapping himself. 'Why is it that the people who THINK they're bigshots are always the ones who give off the most fear in situations like this? Course, the best part is he's stroking his own ego while trying to bullshit me. This is more fun than I thought it'd be all things considered.' He thought to himself.
"You know, most people with half a brain would be either scared shitless right now. Or would at the very least have enough common sense to not try to lie to an ANBU who's been trained to detect falsities in his opponent's speech, mannerisms, and unconcious bodily reactions such as your ever so slightly elevated breathing. That quiver at the end of your speech there. Oh and the complete pile of bullshit you said about using an effective method of dispatching your opponent." Jun spoke, none of his clones moving an inch from their positions. "Not only are you heavily injured yourself, to the point you need to go to the hospital, but aside from the concussion and probably bruised ribs he had the other boy, Rai was it, was fine." Jun had seen the boy for a moment and stopped to ascertain the situation from those with him while they were going to the hospital.
"That crap about clan honor? Give me another excuse and you will be unconcious before you get a chance to blink. If you felt insulted that badly you should have issued him an actual challenge and met him at a training ground with a jounin present as is the custom for these issues of clan politics. Do you realize that if that boy decides to he could press the issue and cause you and your family quite a hard time? Of course you don't." Jun said shaking his head. The clones dispelled themselves in a whirl of water and Jun resealed his ninjato with a flick of his wrist.
"Come with me, it's to the hospital with you. Those wounds are far more serious than you think. For instance, that one on your wrist could prevent you from forming handseals at a high speed like most senior shinobi. Those two on your side? If left untreated could kill you from infection or bleedout." Sighing silently Jun thought 'I hope none of my cousins from the Suna Main Branch are like this. I'd have to deck him just out of character.'

Mitsuko grinned as the ANBU began to speak. He thought about throwing a joke about how he had a full brain, and not half of one, to explain his actions. But given the situation he decided against it. But he refused to act scared, even if the enemy had detected that he was in fact, lying. He was a ninja, not a child, and he would not have fear imposed upon him by some self-righteous ANBU. He didn't notice though, that his breathing had elevated or that he had quivered in his speech at all. Unfortunate. But it was the first time he'd been placed in such a situation, and as such it was difficult to be as cool as he usually was. Still, he was disappointed in himself a bit, because he was supposed to perform better than that. He was not any other genin, he was exceptional. At least in his mind he was. To Mitsuko, the standards of other genin were a bit too low for his taste. More was expected from him, much more. This was definitely a learning experience for the young boy.
"While your ANBU abilities are impressive..." The shinboi spoke. ...I don't scare too easy. And whether I meant my comment or not is besides the point. You said it yourself, Rai's pretty unharmed, thanks to my sense. I spared him a beating." He looked at the bit of blood on his hand to his other wounds. The one on his left was serious, it being the wound he suffered from Rai's first strike. The other two were scratches, nothing he thought was too serious. The part about the ANBU's comments that Mitsuko found particularly offensive was the mocking of his honor. "Whatver, I'll do that next time around." He puffed. What a hassle that would be. And no jounin would enjoy watching two kids battle, plus the rage would have subsided by then. He grimaced at the idea of charges being pressed. He hadn't thought of that, but he was sure it was not an issue.
Finally though, he was released from his enemy's bind. No more swords, no more clones. He breathed out, as he was no able to relax and not worry about accidentally getting stabbed. The mention of a hospital was too much though. "While I appreciate the uh...concern, I would rather not. Just scrapes are not worth the money or the shame." Though the bit about not being able to perform signals was worrying. Mitsuko checked his right wrist, where the cut had nearly hit his tattoo. Thankfully, the 'XXVII' was safe, and he let out a sigh of relief. "Like I said, no biggie. And it'll look pretty bad to my father if he has to hear that Rai even managed to land a blow on me. I don't want to walk in and see all of them either." He said, referencing his classmates.
"But I want your name, ANBU." He said calmly, but then backtracked. "Or your codename, or whatever. I need a name." He cracked a scowl though. "And I wanna know why you did that just now. The way I see it, you didn't accomplish anything. And Rai over there started the whole thing and fought as well, so he certainly deserves the same lecture."

Jun listened to the arrogant little punk talk about how bad it would look for him and rolled his eyes. 'Does he really think I care if it'll look bad on him? Not only is he from a minor clan so his power couldn't touch me, but he'd be shamed anyways. There's no legitimate way he could prevent his family from finding out about this. This boy's just not thinking properly now is he?' He thought.
"Firstly, I bothered appearing instead of just reporting the incident because you ARE injured. I appeared the way I did because it was obvious you're an arrogant little punk from a distance. Secondly, Rai will be spoken to and it will go on his record as well but not only is he currently in danger of dying from a brain hemorrhage but he's currently unconscious. You on the other hand are still conscious and bleeding. This means you're going to the hospital," Jun said before adding "Whether you like it or not."
When the twerp asked for his codename he twitched. After he claimed the interjection was pointless Jun started an internal monologue. 'Alright, I was nice, I can definetly claim I tried to be nice.' Jun thought to himself as he reached forward and jabbed his fingers at a pressure point in Mitsuko's neck that would cause him to go limp as a boned fish but still be able to talk.

"Pff..." Injured. What a joke. Mitsuko was a ninja now, silly little paper cuts didn't require medical attention anymore. No kisses from mommy on his boo-boos. He'd bandage it when he got home, and let it take care of itself, as small abrasions always did. And while he was a bit concerned about the cut on his wrist affecting his jutsu, he would prefer to wait until the students had left the hospital, which they surely had not at that point. He had some money at home, for just such occasions, and using that would keep his father in the dark about those lucky shots Rai managed to land on him. Yup, that's a good plan. He confirmed it to himself, nodding a bit in agreement. Looks like he could avoid the shame that just minutes ago seemed inevitable.
And then they hit him. Arrogant. Little. Punk. Any one of those words would have been sufficiently irritating. Two? Infuriating. Three? Unacceptable. Problem was, he had no way of showing the ANBU that he was not about to stand there and be talked down to. It seemed to him that running his mouth was his only option. But as he prepared to give the older ninja a tongue lashing, he got hit with yet another blow of words. The smug expression on his face faded into one of guilt, for a second. He quickly realized that though, and switched back to his ordinary look. "It was his fault for challenging someone who was clearly superior to him." Mitsuko said spitefully, now glaring at the man who just said that he had no choice in the matter of his going to the hospital.
Who does this guy think he is? I'm not going, and I already said that. Mitsuko suddenly felt a jab though, and his body went completely limp. It had seemed that the ANBU had finally struck him. He scowled, clearly unhappy with the fact that the older ninja had hit him. While he had been acting cocky, that was his duty. In a way, it was required of him. He didn't really believe half the things he was saying, in fact, quite the opposite. Mitsuko was lacking in confidence, but he put up a great front. Still, that was not going to be seen through, even by an ANBU. It was his secret, and for the sake of his clan, he had to keep it up.
"Bastard..." So he cursed the man, seeing as there was not much else he could do.

Jun almost just let the kid drop when he called jun a bastard mid fall but caught him anyways. Disabling Jun could get away with. Letting Mitsuko hit the ground and potentially hurt him worse... not so much. Lifting him into a fireman's carry Jun began a quick but smooth walk to the hospital. "Ya know, I almost forgot, what's your name again?" He asked as he moved. He asked for a couple reasons. One, He couldn't call him punk all the time now could he... even in Jun's head. Two, He'd need the name for the report.
"It's nothing personal kid, just doing my job," Jun added as they walked. "Just be glad I don't have to take you before Mizukage-sama. He's.... kinda irritable at times," He said before shaking his head.
'If he would stop being so arrogant MAYBE I'd go the long way, not long enough to risk death just long enough to avoid complete humiliation. Of course I might not... Dunno really. I mean, I know the position he's in because I'm the only member of my clan still in mist but damn.' He thought to himself.

Mitsuko was pissed, to say the least. Dragged to the hospital, regardless of his opinion on the matter. The ANBU was being so damn difficult. Most of the higher-ups he'd met were pretty aloof, didn't care too much about genin and the like. But he got stuck with this one. Bad luck, apparently. The young ninja scoffed at the ANBU's request. "You have the nerve to ask me what my name is RIGHT after you jabbed me for doing the same?" It didn't make too much sense. Still, he figured it would be better than arrogant little punk, for the time being. "Mitsuko Subeki." He said after a large sigh, apparently calming himself from his earlier rage and simply accepting what was happening. Besides, struggling was so uncool.
Now, the next few words he thought were sort of strange. "Would this really be of interest to the Mizukage?" Nobody, ever, wanted to see the Mizukage. And Mitsuko figured that his little scuffle was not that big of an issue. He smirked a bit about the village leader's irritability. However difficult he was, he was still the leader of the Mist and deserved respect, if not for his position, than for power alone. In fact, he was one of the few people the arrogant Subeki respected completely. A look at the ground and surroundings showed Mitsuko that they were moving rather quickly. Not enough time, he figured, for the kids to leave.
God damn it. Hard worked cool points were about to go down the drain, just for some fight among 'rival' genin, if one would call them that. Perhaps the medical bill could be covered by Mitsuko's own store of cash, so that he could dodge his father's reaction. And he just realized that if he found out his son was in danger of having to face the Mizuakage...that would be bad.

"Well, No it wouldn't be of interest. That doesn't matter much though, it's his job to oversee the shinobi and if for instance Rai were to die from his concussion you'd be taken before a board of elders and the kage. In other words... he probably wouldn't be very happy," Jun replied. "To be perfectly honest I don't want to have to take you there either. I may work for the guy and be loyal to the village but working for him's not easy."
'Ah we're almost there. Can get him off my back fill out the report and get back to work. I feel sorry for his sensei and team though. Kid's a pain in the ass and I'm not even really responsible for the kid.' Jun thought to himself as the Hospital came into sight. Sighing with relief he began roof jumping to get there faster.

The Mizukage was quite a busy woman, so it wasn't a surprise that she wouldn't want to sort out issues amongst genin. That was a parent's duty, or should be figured out between the two opposing sides. That's what Mitsuko thought was best, but it seemed he'd been a bit careless and actually injured the boy pretty badly. The thought of that had begun to seep in. The idea of the move was to disable Rai without actually harming him. And to look cool. It was an unfortunate predicament, but that didn't make it any less his fault. If something happened to Rai, it'd be on Mitsuko's head. And while killing enemy shinboi wasn't exactly hard on his conscience, but murdering a mostly defenseless boy from his own village was going to take a toll on him.
"Then I suppose there's nothing to gain by my going there." He concluded, and then continued on to talk about the ANBU's complaint. "I'd love to be in your spot, so count yourself lucky." Being an ANBU wasn't necessarily his goal, but it was prestigious nonetheless. It'd certainly get the job done though, as far as restoring his clan and all that. And suddenly...they were flying. It'd seemed that the ANBU had decided to take the high road, nimbly leaping from roof to roof. All he had to do now was wait till they arrived at the hospital, then perhaps he could reflect on what happened, away from that guy. To be honest, it was hard to stay cocky with him there. Plus, he did actually want to see what became of Rai.

Rollin his eyes inside his mask Jun thought, 'What is this guys issue. Honestly the only good thing about being ANBU is the pay. The hours suck, I'm RARELY at home, the only girlfriend who'll put up with it is also an ANBU which sucks if you break up because you have to deal with the person every day in headquarters. I'm pretty sure all he thinks about is the 'Prestige' of being ANBU. What prestige? Not like I can brag about accomplishments. All my missions are classified. I can’t even run away from the invasion like any sane guy. No, I have to run straight at the danger and destroy it. Not fun.’
Sighing Jun began speaking, "Being an ANBU isn't that easy. If you fuck up you can land the whole country in a war. We're sent out when when being unseen is absolutely necessary. I'll give you an example of a situation where we cannot fuck up, if we fail in situations like this the entire village will be in trouble. I once knew a guy who had to assassinate an entire family related to some no name corporate head because his brother wanted him to step down. The mission was to get in, kill everyone on the list and get the hell out without being seen and identified as a Mist shinobi, because despite being a no name he had connections that would help him hurt us as a village. The man had successfully gotten in and killed all but one of the people in this little villa when he found the final person. He hesitated when he saw it was a small child and the hesitation was enough that the child darted past him and almost got away. The no name himself was getting home soon and it was timed this way for a reason. The hesitation almost allowed the man to see the ANBU and possibly identify him. He did get away but not without a price. He was placed on severe probation for almost fucking up an important mission.”
Jun noticed the Hospital getting near and he put on a burst of speed landing on road in front of the hospital. Switching Mitsuko to a bridal style way of carrying him he walked through the doors and into the emergency ward. “Can I get a doctor over here,” He shouted and a couple came running. “He’s fairly badly hurt in the side from that same fight that hurt Rai. I'll be back, I have to write up the report for this mess,” Sighing he walked out and dashed to the kage tower to retrieve the report materials.

Mitsuko listened quietly as the ANBU began to tell a story. It sounded unconvincing at first, as the idea of assassinating a bunch of bad guys didn't seem to be all that bad. At least they were being useful, unlike him at that point. The gravity of their actions was something he already knew, but putting a country at war was something he had yet to think of. That was serious. But ANBU were trained, specialized, and bred to be precise and silent, so stealth would not be all that difficult for them. Especially in situations, like in this one's story, where they were assigned to kill regular people as opposed to shinobi.
As the story concluded, Mitsuko thought about it for a second. Would he be able to kill a child? Perhaps not now, he figured, but when he grew to about that man's age, he would certainly have sharpened his killer instinct enough to be able to do so. While the example did make its point, the genin was still convinced that being an ANBU was much better than the rank he was at. "There are risks, of course. But at least you're contributing to the prosperity of the Mist. Meanwhile, we genin remain here without purpose or aim." He said quietly, a much more solemn tone than he had shown thus far.
Finally, the two entered the hospital and the ANBU called for the doctors to take Mitsuko. As the man gave him over to the doctors, Mitsuko nearly growled. They were making such a scene. They carried him off to a room and placed him in a bed. At that point, he'd begun to regain a bit of feeling, and he tilted his head to look at the bit of noise outside. It was his classmates, by Rai's bedside. He seemed to be fine, and the students began to leave the hospital. Phew...they didn't... And to his dismay, one of the boys called out to the rest. "Oi, Mitsuko!" And pointed over to the room where the boy was being bandaged.
"Hey, when did you get hurt? We didn't think you got hit." One girl said, as a small group of kids came over and nodded in agreement. "I was subdued by an ANBU for using battle jutsu." A few of the kids gasped, as Mitsuko had successfully avoided telling his peers that Rai had indeed cut him. He looked across the hallway at Rai, who was snarling at Mitsuko yet again. He sighed, and decided to tell the truth. ...Although, Rai did scrape me a couple times." He said, dodging the looks of his classmates. "Okay Mitsuko, we'll see you around. Get better soon!" Another girl said, as the group was told to exit by the doctors. The genin sighed again. At least the whole ordeal was over.
