Sosuke would watch as other genin seemed to recover after the older one who seemed talented in genjutsu helped him escape his genjutsu. He heard the other genin question to the other one and watched a bit more as he stepped on a twig he watched other genin go into a fighting stance and drew his kunai in case he needed it. He was getting bored of this as they were already dead a few times already and had all information he needed it seemed from this and looked to the other one who he thought might just be another genin.
Sosuke heard other genin mention olderr guys element was earth which if he wanted to he could have found him a while ago. He was close enough to hear the other ninja address the other as katetsu-san and telling him sit down unless he wanted to face him. He would just shrug he had all he needed from this and would walk out of his hiding spot becoming visible behind the boy that was in fighting stance and pick up and gently toss a pebble at his back. If hit that is.
Sosuke just did that because if he had thrown a kunia or a shuriken the other genin that eldest of three called Katetsu-san would have been injured. He would look to them “hello my name is Sosuke Otsuka a genin I am last member of this team nice to meet you” he would look to the oldest of the three ninja “I wanted to see how good my teammates are” he would state to him and looked to the other genin not really impressed at the moment but he did somehow dodge hit paralyzing jutsu which was impressive. Sosuke would look to them “any sign of sensei yet” as he did not see the jounin or chunin that was supposed to be in charge of the team.

Shinzo sat down now not in the mood to fight he already spared and the guy using genjutsu must have been coward if he could come out and fight him. "man when will she get here I could realy use nap or somthing to do i'm board now" he said with yawn.
As he did this see a person walking to them and said "Beast Attacks Pray" and Lunged at this new person. THis was Shinzo's way of saying hight to new people he sensed good in.
See this person only ment that there sensai wanted them to meet here and test each other then he or she would come out and tell them they were team mate and stuff.
The air seem dull but tensed as Shinzo grabbed at the new kid and could see the the kid seeemed cockey or to sure of himself, seeing he attacked them and tryed to be all buddy with them already.

The blond chunin kept his seat and continued to meditate. His control over the Earth Spear was still much to problematic in his opinion. While it was good in the fact that he could execute it effeciently he still lacked the level of mastery he wished for. The technique took much of he concious thought to hold. Makoto always had to remain 'aware' of it in a sense. This fact drove Makoto to practice with it often at any chance, whether it be meditating or training. He was determined to train it to the point of being instictive, like breathing or blinking. Then once that was accomplished he held hopes of mastering it on the level to where he wouldn't need handseals for it. However, that would come much later.
A dull, soothing calm began to settle over him as he finally started to delve within himself. It wasn't to last though as distant words drifted to his ears. His concentration stretched itself and focused on the sound in curiousity. Makoto caught Shinzo's words, but in doing so broke his meditation. Luckily, he still retained control over the jutsu he was working on. His short attention span was a curse sometimes, he would admit. Makoto let out a dull sigh of disappointment over his lack of control. "Well, if things were easy it wouldn't be interesting," the blond thought to himself in an attempt to look on the brighter side.
A new voice rang out and Makoto craned his neck to finally catch sight of their newest arrival. He spared a wave and managed to get in a "Hello" before being interrupted by Shinzo's outburst. The boy had an odd way of greeting people. Though, so did Sosuke, Makoto realized as an after though. Perhaps they would get along well. If not...well, they would keep each other occupied. Hopefully, it wouldn't get out of hand. However, even with his worry Makoto was still quite interested in the abilites and potential of his teammates. They were just like closed scrolls or books waiting to be studied. And battle could reveal alot about a person. So Makoto sat off to the side and watched Shinzo charge, splitting his attention between a half hearted meditation, holding his technique, and the skirmish that was about to unfold.

Kegumo arrived a few minutes later than the time that had been set for them to meet. She was a little late due to some last minute preparation. She was excited to have a genin team, that much was obvious, and she couldn't go making any bad first impressions. She would be training these children for a long time, and she couldn't go screwing up their opinion of her on their first day together.
What she arrived to was highly...unexpected. One of the boys in the area was in the trees, casting some genjutsu on the boys in the clearing. She watched for a moment from the trees, keeping her presence masked, gauging all of their abilities. The blond haired one in the clearing was obviously the chunin.
She thought it was odd, a chunin being grouped together with two fresh genin. It could cause a rift in the group, seeing that one of them already had such a power difference. When she had voiced her concerns to the Raikage, he had merely told her it was for the best. She accepted his decision, but her worry was still there.
When the genjutsu boy, Sosuke Otsuke (She had files on all three), revealed himself, he was immediately attacked by the dark-skinned boy, Shinzo Katetsu. Makoto Kiyoshi looked to be meditating. She frowned at this. He, being a chunin, should be acting as a mediator, and not just letting them fight. She would have to remedy this. Teams can't be fighting each other, and as a chunin he should know that.
Deciding enough is enough, she shunshined to Shinzo, who was now trying to get a hold of Sosuke. Her hand was placed on his shoulder in a soft, yet firm grip.
"Alright. I believe that's quite enough." Her tone was one showing that she was serious, but she tried to not make it sound threatening. She didn't want to seem threatening. She let go of his shoulder, and turned to the chunin, a look of disappointment in her eyes. "May I ask why you are allowing your teammates to fight?"

He would notice the guy that feel for his genjutsu badly speak and then lung at him and would attempt to block grab but just puts no real effort in it. He look to the boy after he grabbed him and looked to him only for a moment and to other teammate nodded to him as he seemed busy doing something from what had seen the other one was in mediating. Sosuke would look to the other boy before the one in meditation then back to him before looking around he had a gut feeling they were being watched by someone else but not sure who maybe their sensei.
He would then jump a bit as a women had shunshined to the other genin that had a hold of him and looked to her as she spoke out at them and then looked to the other boy and then her as she questioned the other teammate that was meditation. Sosuke look to her “are you Kegumo Sensei” he would ask the women and look to the others his teammates where interesting so far but he hardly knew them but was sure he will soon enough.

Shinzo Stood there shocked he didn't even notice her watching let alone her grabing him. "So your our sensai"said Shinzo yanked himself from her grip. Shinzo then noticed her outfit and bowed" Student Greets the master" he said unable to Bring himself to greet he with a attack like normal. SHinzo then backed away and looked at his team and sensai and smiled. " I'll start off by saying I'm Shinzo Katetsu and i'm a lighting user" then sat down and waited for her responce.
Shinzo studied his team and looked impressed not only did they hold there own but, they had skills that he didn't and if his sensai had lighting the his Skills will out shine the other in no time.Shinzo then looked at Makoto and Thought about everything he said and did and wondered what skills he knew that shinzo should be aware of. Next he turned to his other teamate "whats his name" and wonder if Genjutsu was all he can do.If so then Shinzo would be spending time covering him. Finally He looked at his sensai he haded even seen her fight yet but,he could sense she was already strong.

The beginning of the battle marked its very end in an anticlimactic stalemate from Makoto‘s eyes. The end was declared not by a draw among the fighters, but by a newcomer. Though shocked that the woman hadn’t triggered his guard, Makoto was still grateful. Why would the chunin be grateful for such an occurrence one may ask? More than one reason actually. Not only had she stopped the fight that Shinzo still apparently insisted on. The arrival marked the first time one of his own teammates hadn’t attacked him. The lack of attack to make her presence known was a welcomed addition. Still…The words announced after her arrival were like a slap to the face…And they quickly brought Makoto to the reality of the situation and out of his silly joking thoughts.
“So much for first impressions,” Makoto thought to himself as he wilted under the weight of her and his own disappointment. What could he possibly answer to that sort of question? Millions raced through his head, but all of them fell into pathetic categories. Some were excuses, others simply shifted the blame to another, while the others though reasonable sounded light they would border on disrespect when they sounded in his mind’s voice. Why hadn’t he stopped them? He stood and bowed as his mind struggled to grasp for something, no anything, to say. Pale blond hair escaped the shadows his hood hid his face with.
“I’m…I…” he stumbled before finally sighing. “I’m sorry,” he spoke up while keeping his head down. He came to this team as a member, not a chunin. Never would he lord over these two because of rank. He was an equal, not a superior. He didn’t have the right to order them around. He doubted they’d listen even if he did speak given their headstrong attitudes. Both of them attacked him in order to test or see his abilities. Honestly, he didn’t really know how to act in response in a way that wouldn’t cause them to outright spite him. Nor did he know how to quell their urge to prove themselves against one another. As cowardly and spineless as Makoto felt for not stilling their quarrel, he just couldn‘t bring himself to force them to listen to him. Perhaps at the time, he thought that if he let them knock some sense into each other they’d both listen to reason.

"Yes, I am Kegumo. Sensei though..well...that will be explained in a minute." She said, her tone no longer as serious. Now it seemed to hold more of a humorous lit to it. The tone of someone who knew more than you did. She turned to Shinzo, a little surprised by his 'saying'.
"Its nice to meet you Shinzo, but I would like to ask that you save your introduction for later." She turned to Makoto, who seemed to be utterly at a loss for what to say. She couldn't help but feel sorry for the boy. He seemed to be kicking himself a lot harder than he should. While he shouldn't of just let his teammates fight for seemingly no reason, he was just a child. At least in her eyes. She walked to him, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Theres no need to be sorry. Just...don't let it happen again, o.k.?" She smiled at him, a smile that many have attributed to that of a loving mother. A smile filled with so much warmth it could make even the hardest shinobi lower their defenses. She turned to the other two, letting go of Makoto's shoulder in the process. "Please, follow me. I have a small spot where I would like us to all introduce ourselves."
She took to the trees, slowing herself down considerably to allow the genin (and one chunin) to follow her. She didn't want her team (maybe) to be fatigued before her test. She smiled at the thought of her test. She didn't take pleasure in testing her students, but she saw it as necessary. If these children couldn't pass her test, which to a lot of other jounin was too easy, but Kegumo was too afraid she would hurt them. She sighed to herself as she landed by a small river. She knew she would have to harden her heart to train them efficiently.
She turned, looking towards the forest where she had come from. She waited a few seconds for them all to appear, before sitting on her knees. She looked to the three, obviously expecting them to also sit.
"Firstly, I would like us all to introduce ourselves. Please let me know things such as likes, dislikes, hobbies, and maybe your goals or dreams. I will go first." The smile she had on her face back in the clearing was once again upon her face. "Hello. As you all know, I am Kegumo Kurogo. I like going to see the children at Igao's Orphanage and sushi. I dislike like those who betray the trust put in them. My hobbies...well, I don't really have many hobbies. And my dream, well, you could say my current dream is help some shinobi be the best they can be."
She nodded her head at Sosuke, indicating him to go next.

He would look to the other genin as he bowed and then spoke but did not attack her which was properly a smart move on his part. He would look to him and he stated his name and what his teammate’s element was which ended up perfect for him. He would look to his teammate and sighed he seemed to be good at lighting and tiajutsu which is a good combo and thought this might be a very interesting group. The other he knew due to shinzo and sensei was a chuunin whose element was earth.
He looks around as he had felt eyes back on him and heard shinzo and looked to him before attention quickly shifting to the chuunin and snickered a bit at his discomfort from sensei words through she was being a bit hard on the him. Sosuke watched as the chuunin stumbled to reply to sensei words and then heard him apologies to her and looked to sensei he would stay silent for now. He would pay attention to her as she confirmed she was their sensei and nodded to her.
Sosuke would watch sensei go stern to motherly spooky fast and shudder at that and nodded and followed her to the spot where she lead them. He would look about and heard kegumo sensei speak up again giving them instructions as he sat down and looked to the others before looking back to sensei. He would watch and listen as she went first and then looked to her as she made him go first and thought for a moment “hello my name is Sosuke Otsuka and I like to do mountain climbing and training in taijutsu. My goals are to become a master of my element and master my blades. I dislike people that push ideas or what’s morel or immoral on people since neither exist and my hobbies is same as my likes and that’s all really” he would look to Kegumo sensei and then the others as he waited for the next person to do this introduction that Kegumo sensei wants them to do.

Shinzo watched as his teammate spoke and stood up speak when he was done. he glanced at Sosuke with a eyebrow raise thinking about what he said. "I'm Shinzo Katetsu i like to become a strong ninja so my parent will acknowledge me as there son" He said with a slight sadness. Then he smiled and spoke" I love to fight and have great seance of who is strong by a single glance" he said. "I Have little tolerance for to who don't try and give up"said Shinzo. "last I love to Fight strong opponents and as you Heard i have a habit to call out ridiculous metaphor for my attacks"said Shinzo as he knew it went deeper then that. Shinzo good tell already that he would like this team and said his next line loudly. "My goal is to learn lighting style jutsu and become stronger then the raikage himself" He said he knew he had no chance no but,he was Young so he didn't care one bit.

The woman was odd, Makoto would conclude as he restrained a flinch that came with her sudden touch and stood. Well, perhaps odd wasn’t the right word. Maybe she was just different. She gave off a foreign aura unlike any he’d ever been around (having no mother, the teen was unable to make a connection in order to recognize her ‘motherly‘ feel). It unnerved him actually. Not because it was intimidating, but because it was almost soothing. It was as if the feel was trying to lull him into lowering his guard. It was something he’d never really experienced before and despite being wary of it he was still very curious. Some type of technique? Or maybe it was more?
His previous sensei did hold a similar feel now that he thought about it. Though not the same, his sensei always had this sort of calm that was infectious. However, that held a different feel to it. Makoto found himself quite interested in the woman before him and what she could teach. However, he remained silent instead of giving an answer and followed without further prompting. Makoto didn’t even pay any mind to Sosuke when he laughed at his plight, not that he would have done anything anyway. Instead, he leapt off after Kegumo, keeping up with the intentionally slowed pace with ease. All the while, he still maintained his hold of the jutsu that remained hidden by his cloak. He allowed himself to drop it upon their landing near the river. Then took his seat after being prompted.
Introductions seemed forced and rather tense to Makoto. Not from their sensei, but from the other two. Sosuke being solemn and determined while Shinzo appeared and sounded rather sad. Makoto then speak his own piece, while repeating in his mind not to ramble. It was embarrassing when he lost control of his own train of thought and jumped from topic to topic. “Kiyoshi Makoto. I like to learn new things and I don’t really have any dislikes.” He was too docile to actually outright dislike something. There were things he didn’t understand why a person would do and other things that were often exasperating. Still, he couldn’t think of anything that he outright disliked-then it hit him-unless one counted picking on the weak or hurting defenseless people. That was an action he didn’t condone, but it was too late to add that in now.
In fact, his train of thought was being derailed. Makoto returned from zoning out and tried to remember the other questions. “I usually read when I’m bored or train…Dreams…” There were so many, really. He smiled, “Too many to name really.” Grow strong, perhaps settle down with a family one day, then grow old and wise and pass his legacy down to another family or not.

Kegumo listened to all of their introductions intently, mentally thinking about which mannerisms or attitudes that could get them killed. Firstly, Sosuke seemed sure of himself, but his earlier amusement at his teammates floundering would have to be cured. Your team was the most important thing you could have, and laughing at a teammates expense could cause a rift. And rifts are what got shinobi killed.
Next was Shinzo. There seemed to be some sadness in his voice at the mention of his parents. Apparently there was some sort of tension there. Maybe she could speak to his parents? Sometimes the drive to impress caused rash actions. Rash actions were never good, because eventually you would die, or your teammates would be put into danger. That is if he did start making rash decisions. She had only just met him, but from what she had seen, he was a litte...odd.
Lastly was Makoto, supposedly the most competent of the three. She couldn't outright find anything wrong with his mannerisms, though he did seem to zone out for a few seconds. Hopefully that didn't become the norm. Kegumo didn't even think about the risk that could cause. Overall, she saw great potential in the three, and they wouldn't have to work long on correcting their attitudes. They also seemed like they could get along well enough, with a little work. At least they wouldn't have to work on too many team exercises. That was good. Team exercises had been hell for her when she was a genin.
After the introductions, Kegumo stood to her feet and dusting herself off. She looked to the genin, motioning for them to stand up and come closer. Once they had done so, she spoke. "Now, before you can truly call me sensei, we have to have a test." At this, she pulled a thin cloth, about three feet in length, from her pocket. "I would like each of you to give me your right hand." Once they had done so, she tied the threes hands together. All three would only have use of their left hand.
Quickly, faster than most eyes could follow, Kegumo bit her thumb and ran through some hand-seals. She slammed her hand into the ground, summoning her favorite companion. A small, dark green scorpion stood there as the smoke dissipated. Chisana didn't speak, since Kegumo had spoke to her before the meeting, letting her know of the test.
"Now, the test is simple. That band around your wrist is your lifeline. If at any point during the test any of you are broken or leave the lifeline, you fail. All of you fail. Me and Chisana here," Kegumo indicated the small scorpion, "Will actively be trying to cut one of you from the lifeline. You can use any force you think is necessary to keep me and Chisana from cutting the lifeline. Don't worry, I highly doubt you will hurt Chisana or me. The test will last for one hour, beginning," She paused a moment, looking towards the sun, determining the time, "Now."
Kegumo jumped away from the three genin, landing in a tree not too far away. Chisana scurried across the ground quickly, disappearing into the underbrush with barely a sound, leaving the genin to themselves. She decided she would observe them first, see if they would actually use teamwork to move, or if they would fight each other over what to do. The true point of the test.

Watch and listen to the others and looked to shinzo as it was his turn next and heard him his voice seemed to have sadness about it. Sosuke would take in the information as it might be handy later if it was needed. He thought it was interesting goal of becoming the raikage and looked over to the chuunin of their team waiti9ng for him to introduce himself as he seemed to be doing the same but maybe deeper or he was daydreaming. He heard him start his introductions he gave little information besides his name and liking to learn new things.
Her would notice he seems to space out a lot he hoped in combat that this was not going to happen that’s all team needed is a teammate spaces out in combat. Sosuke heard continued and nodded and sighed as he mentioned dreams as he seems dream a lot and heard the rest and nodded they were really basic but still good. He then look to Kegumo sensei as she stood up and removed the dirt and notice her motion to stand up and get closer he would and look to her. Sosuke heard her words as she spoke to them and stopped as she pulled out a thin cloth and showed it to them, then asked for them to give her their right hand.
He would nod and put out his right hand as kegumo sensei had asked for and looked to the others until when they put theirs in and then watch as she ties the hands together. He would look to her and noticed hand motions but she did it too fast for him and summons a creature next to her and heard her words and differently did not want to be the one cut out and failed. He heard how long and looked to the other two as he heard kegumo sensei say now and jump away from them and landing in a tree as the kegumo sensei’s summon chisana scurried vanished in underbrush he would look to the others “we have to figure a plan or she and chisana will pick us off” he knew if they were going to do this it take all their effort.

Shinzo not expecting his arm to be tide to his teammate or was he expecting him have stay like this. "umm so What are going to do now" said Shinzo as he looked around and found out he was in the middle of the group. "man that means I'm pulling the wight of the team with me as we run"said Shinzo to himself as he looked for a way to move. Shinzo then though of the fact that he'll have watch out for the the scorpion and his sensai. "OK guy seeing that i pulling the wight that means you got to tell me what to do" he said as he got ready to move. Shinzo looked at the situation and hoped he'll be able to dodge well with them or that they just go with his plan. Shinzo thought about this morning how he attack his teammate to test their power and now he'll need them to use their skills to win this fight.

Makoto didn’t like tests. He never did no matter what the type, form, or information it covered. The pressure he put himself under was often too great. He would rather avoid a test if at all necessary, but opting out of the ’genin’ trail was probably not an option. A teamwork exercise. He had to admit this was a first. Besides joined missions and training with his previous sensei he rarely ever came into contact with other genin. The teen hoped it was natural for him to worry despite being the most experienced member of the trainees.
Already Makoto was over thinking the situation. Doubts, fears, and nerves started to get to him. Odd, since the worse they could do would be demote him. Strangely enough, it didn’t bother him as much as one might think. It only meant he’d be put on a different genin team. Perhaps he should jus intentionally give up and cut himself? Then again, if he defeated the purpose of the training exercise like that, Kegumo could just fail the other two as well. That option didn’t sit well within his mind. Take the fall only for these two to lose their chance at a successful career?
He stayed silent as his wrist was tied. There was nothing to say really. That is unless someone wanted him to restate the obvious. And as much as Makoto rambled on about his thoughts, they usually held some kind of relevance to the situation. If not on the topic they were led by the topic. Restating that very topic, however, wasn’t a normal occurrence. There was no place for it here. The link that held them together tightened and now they became a chain. A chain that their sensei intended to break by hitting the weakest link. Were they all rusty and weak, unable to stand the strain, or maybe strong enough to hold even if they did happen to have a hidden flaw?
“Take to the tree directly to our left,” he said simply. While not the best plan it was better than standing there like sitting ducks. Then they could keep moving or stop. While doing so they could reground and come up with a reasonable plan that might help them survive. Makoto held no delusions that the three of them could take the jounin, especially handicapped as they were. Makoto had trained under a jounin. His own skill alone might stall the woman, but never defeat her. And the other two lacked in too many areas to be of much use overall. “On the count of three. One. Two. Three.” Makoto said that so they could effectively move as a unit. So at the mark of three, Makoto jumped.
