Name: Hanako Hayashi
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Village: Kirigakure
Rank: Jounin
Nature Manipulation: Water
Appearance:
Hanako's body and cloths are often looked at as sexy and devilish at times. Her most common outfit is a black short-sleeved shirt with some fitted mesh under it that extends just past the sleeve ends and the bottom. Her pants are part of her standard village uniform complete with the kunai pouch being held to her right leg with bandages. Over it all she often wears a dark brown duster left to her by her father.
Hanako's body is physically fit like most Kunoichi and her hair & eyes are both a dark red. She does have a tribal tattoo going from her right shoulder to the elbow which she got shortly after becoming a jounin. To her is was a symbol of her success. She also has a tattoo of the roman numeral XIII under her right eye. This was something she copied from her father who had the same tattoo in the same spot.
Personality: When Hanako is compared to the rest of her family she is looked to as the black sheep. The way she acts on the outside is normally a I don't care attitude. This when in combat helps her to seem like the type that is hard to read. She is good at hiding her emotions and keeping her anger or sadness locked up inside until a battle is over and she is by herself.
The truth of her mind is that she really is a caring person. She cares for what friends she has and loves to be around the kids of her village even if some can be a little hard headed. Its hard to say that she doesn't really care when, despite her normal attitude, she is always willing to help people when asked. All together Hanako is just another person taking life as it comes. Her family issues never bothered her thanks to her father, and that has kept her sane over the years.

History:
The Mist and my Father
Hanako remembered the day clearly. The day she came to the mist village to meet with her father and his family. For years they lived with their mother in the Hidden Grass. They lived apart in two different villages because her father thought it would be hard for them to leave with him in the mist. Now she had little choice.
They lived in peace for much of her life. She understood why her father wasn't around. A man who was in love with their mother got anger that she turned him down each time he tried to go out with her. He lost his temper one day and stabbed her after being rejected for 20th time.
After seeing her mother murdered Hanako's sister ran at the man to kill him. She failed to hurt the man and died when he stabbed her as well. Hanako stood and watched this feeling to weak to stop him. Before she became his next victim he was killed himself by a family friend who had could to visit.
After her mother and sister were buried only days later. Hana took Hanako to live with her father. Though she couldn't enter the village herself, she meant with her father about half way there.Years in a New Life
Hanako had lived with her father in the hidden mist for a few years now. She was 13 when she left the training school and began to learn to be a ninja. As time passed her by she lived under her mother's name while ignoring her father's name Ryuukai. This was cause most members of the family looked at her as someone who didn't belong.
She came from the grass and should go back there is what they thought. How could a girl live in a village she wasn't raised in. day in and day out her father, Daisuke, got many comments about her. Still he turned them all way telling them to leave her be. They never listened and once or twice attacked her with insults.
This stopped when Daisuke himself started to teach her Taijutsu which was his specialty. She learned quickly how to defend herself in combat should any of them moved passed simple insults.Teenage Years
The life of a Chuunin was troublesome. Always working Hanako had hardly anytime to visit with her dad who had retired from the life of a shinobi. Now at the age of eighteen she was hardly insulted by her father's side of the family anymore, but thought she would return to using her mother's last name of Hayashi.
This put a smile on her father's face every time her heard her name spoken. He told her each time she visited him that she looked just like her mother which was the only thing seemed to make her blush.
On her nineteenth birthday Daisuke past away at the age of fifty-six thanks to an old injury he had from when he was a shinobi. This day hit Hanako hard cause she wasn't there for him. She had been on a mission that day. Upon her return she was told and this drove her to cry for the first time since seeing her sister and mother die.Life Moves On
The after finally making it to Jounin. Hanako got two tattoos to honor something. The first was the roman numeral XIII under her right eye. This was to honor her father who had the same tattoo, but never told her why. The second are some tribal markings that, in her mind, symbolized her pride.
Hanako was now a Jounin. She wasn't well-known, nor was she really that special. She had a handful of friends who knew her well while everyone else thought of her as an outcast. She trained Genin and took missions when she could. All in all her life was hard up to this point, but she hardly lets it get to her. She was alive, and she knew her father would the same thing.

Hanako followed Daisuke out to an open area. No trees, hardly any grass, mostly mud. This was going to be the spot he taught her some taijutsu for self defense against his less kind family members. Once they reached the center of this...field. Daisuke stopped and looked back at his daughter. His eyes looked at her as though she was still a little girl while his face said she was his student. "Hanako..." he said, "I want you to know that even though you're going to learn taijutsu while training with your jounin sensei. I still want you to learn from me as well."
Hanako looked at her father and nodded. She had wondered if he realized they teach taijutsu to the genin in training. Teaching her himself seemed kind of pointless when you thought about it. "Yeah pop. I'll train with ya. After all a little extra training can't hurt." She said to please him. She wasn't lying though. Extra training could be a good thing and help her surpass her teammates easier. Also there were a few kids she wanted to pound into the ground for insulting her. When her family did it it didn't bother her cause her father would handle it. However when her fellow genin did it. She wanted them to hurt.
"I don't really know why I'm insulted and told to leave by Uncle Kyosuke or Grandpa, but I do know I wanna make sure that one day they'll eat their words after I become a strong member of the Mist Village." Daisuke busted out in a laugh as she finished. Hanako was shocked to see her father laughing at what she said. She looked around and saw a rock about a foot in front of her. With one kick the rock smacked flow at Daisuke only to land back on the ground. Daisuke had disappeared.
"You are just like your mother. I only wish she could see the daughter I have to try now. Oh well." His voice came from behind her now. Without turned she leaned back far enough to look up at her days smiling face as he stood behind her. "So... shall we begin the lesson?"
