Zero doesn’t really like any race; the only thing she likes is herself, and Hades. Zero can be a quick assassin if she has too, or a torturer. She can kill quick and painless or slow and painful. Which ever one makes her happier.
Just stay on her good side. If she has one, a rare sight to see if her saying more then two word, she can sing very well but that’s how she lets out her emotions, her sadness that she forever hides. Zero’s killing spree is often unintentional, She despises arrogance, yet she is what she despises. She can grin at the sight of blood and pain. She often enjoys alone time with herself, and rather animals over anything else any day.
Zero tries to fight the insanity that eats at her insides, and she often just tries to seclude herself from every one to save them, but she lets it released when she is on a mission.

-Chapter one: the birth and mothers death -
Two Parents; the mother Aiko her name meaning loving beautiful child and her last name chiyoko meaning thousand generation child, had married into the Takai family by marrying Akatsu takai his name meaning victory. He had explained to Aiko about the family curse, and she happily bared him two daughters one, Hikaru Takai , meaning sun light wolf and three years later another . Hikaru was always favored most out of her sisters, while Tsukiko was left to her nanny her father’s sister, her aunt Hiroko, Hiroko had never had a child so she treated Tsukiko as her own.
Her father never let Hikaru fight, he always had her study up over books that Tsukiko could never read, instead if she got even ten feet near the books, she would be beaten down by her father and sent to Hiroko who simply told her “ Tsu-sama, every good Shinobi can take a beaten without tears” and with that, Tsukiko took upon herself to train herself. On her fifth birthday her mother became ill, and her father had blamed her. She had never talked to her mother that much, except when she was in the Takai garden her mother had loved plants and had taught Tsukiko every plant name, what the plants could do how it could heal sickness and cause death.
So while her sister continued the studies not to speak one word to her younger sibling she tried to make potions for her mother, until her father beat her a way, Hiroko only taking the five year old by her hand and traveling her to fight, she had soon carved into her genes that she had to fight. When she turned seven, exactly on her birthday her mother died, and her father had angrily accused her, calling her an omen child and never speaking to her for the rest of her childhood, only giving her glares.
- Chapter two: First friend and a Sisters Royalty-
It was her tenth birthday and she had no contact with her father, in fact she had even started living with her Aunt, who had married a man from another clan; Hotaru, firefly. He had been kind to her, and introduced her to his student, he happened to be only four years older then her, but he was kind, he was also training to be a Shinobi; although in the village hidden under the moon, they had no academy, it was a land where only thieves roamed so the students had to teach their selves, the boys name was Kenshin and he was exactly what his name stated Modest truth. He had told her what he liked about life and what he hated, he explained on how he hated her family for taking his families land, and on how he could never believe she was an Takai, so the day he told her that she had forgotten her last name, disowning it, the family had done nothing kind to her, only beat her to nothingness for her aunt to bring her back up. Kenshin had made her trust him, made her feel safe around him. But that was just what he wanted her to believe.
She soon was invited to a party, it was her sisters thirteenth birthday, Kenshin didn’t speak to her he just left her in a storm of rage, her aunt had told her not to worry. And they went to the party, she didn’t understand why she was invited but it was very nice; it was just how she thought a birthday party was, a bunch of food happy people talking but it was only people in the Takai clan. Her father had suddenly quiet everyone down and started to speak.” Today is the day, I give my position as priest to my most beloved..only child Hikaru, she has proudly already accepted the position.” He said. His words hurt her greatly, she froze and everyone clapped happily as her older sister started to approach the stand she smiled. Tsukiko thought it wouldn’t hurt her but it did, and all she could do is run out of the building, while the rain poured down, she soon fell to the ground tears deep in her eyes.
She felt herself being lifted from the ground and into the arms of her friend Kenshin. “A true Shinobi has no feelings.” He told her quietly as he shushed her cries of betrayal into soft sobs. “Trust me, I’ll be there when you need me, you’ll be safe with me.” He said with a soft laugh. And she did she believed in him and she trusted him with all of her heart.
-Chapter three:: A missing friend and a Sisters death-
It had been her thirteenth birthday her sister was sixteen and doing her job well. Kenshin hadn’t lied he had always been there when she needed him, and she felt herself falling for him. She had told him everything except the fact she had fallen for him, on the morning of her thirteenth birthday sad news had hit the area, her sister had been murdered. She had been awoken by her sleep by her father. “I need you, Tsukiko.” He said to her softly as he stood her up. “Your beloved sister is dead, I need you to take the position of head priestess.” He whispered. “I won’t” she said quietly. He had grabbed her by her wrist and with one hand continuously beat her. “You wretched child! I ask one favor from you and you deny it so boldly! How dare you.” He ordered as she slammed her against the wall. “You have no choice, you will be priestess or I will kill your aunt.” He said and with that stalked off.
She had not left her room, and when she did it was too look for her dearly loved Kenshin, he was no where to be found. Her aunt was grieving but not for her other niece, no her brother had poisoned her boyfriend’s tea. She thought her world was going to end. She was forced to her sisters funeral; Kenshin was still no where to be found.
-Chapter four: A friend’s Deceit and a clan’s demise-
She had obeyed her father, studying to be a priestess she didn’t really study in fact when she was studying to be a shinobi harder and harder, until it was her sixteenth birthday. He had a party planned for her, and she didn’t want anything to do with it, remembering the last party. She didn’t go.
In fact she just stayed at the play place her and Kenshin use to be at, and suddenly he had came; Kenshin with a grin on his face, not just any grin a devious grin, his eyes shining with an emotion she’d never seen before.
Kenshin had wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to his chest. “Do you want to know a secrete Tsukiko..?” he asked his voice was acid like. She blushed she had thought this was the time he would reveal his love to her. “I killed your sister.” He said quietly. She could sense his grin. “I killed your aunt’s boyfriend..and I killed your father…your clan will die also.” He chuckled so coldly into her ear. With all of her power she pushed him a way and fell back on her back. “I thought…I though-“ “that I loved you..?” he laughed. “Ever since I was a child I planned this, I wanted you to trust me, believe in me. I told you there was no need to fear, I would always be there, I calmed you down, shushed your pathetic fear into nothingness..and when you finally trusted me and believed in me..” he chuckled. “I let you down…” he laughed insanely.
She was shaking by now. “Run..and maybe I won’t kill you.” He chuckled. “I thought you we’re my friend!” she yelled and jumped up running at him. With ease he grabbed her shoulder and threw her against a tree, popping it out of place. “ A true shinobi, has no friends..you will never be a true shinobi.” And with those last words he disappeared from her life, and she didn’t stop him, she ran, and to hide from her past, she changed her name, no longer Tsukiko, to Zero.
She hadn't known how far she ran, and hid, hitched the boats, ran again. But she found herself with out food and water, and had been growing weaker and weaker until she passed out. When she awoke she had been in a house, with a woman and a man looking over her.
The woman had been an iwagakure ninja, and explained to Zero that she had found Zero, returning home from a mission passed out. She had seen Zero had been missing a headband, "Why is such a young girl like you out this far, you do not look like a local." She questioned, Zero stared at her with cold red eyes, and the woman only laughed to her as Zero's stomach growled.
"Well, My name is Kana Mitsugire, and unless you start speaking to me, i'll have to turn you in." She snickered pointing to the head band on her waist. Zero paused, and stared at it. "Zero" She murmured, her lips had been chapped, and her throat had been dry. But she managed to utter out such a word.
"What an odd name." The woman would concur as she stared down to the girl, it had been weeks but Kana had gotten Zero to warm up to her. It turned out that Zero had trained to be a ninja, and had nin potential. Kana had lied to Zero though, the Kage of Iwa had already known about her. As far as Zero thought, she had been a secret. Zero had not also known, that Kana had begged the Kage of Iwa to allow the girl to transfer so Kana could be Zero's sensei. The kage finally submitted to it, only on the terms that Zero could defeat one student from the academy.
One year had passed, and Kana had to leave for a mission, one in which she was defeated. Three days had passed, and Zero understood what this meant. The days prior towards the mission, Kana had her go against some idiot, which she took out with ease. It wasn't until the fourth day that a nin had came to her door. He bowed politly, and held Kana's blood stained headband to Zero, Kana's blade also.
Zero looked to him and nodded her head, taking the village head band, a sign of showing that she would always serve under the kage of Iwa, and no one else, taking Kana's blade also, to show one day she would be as great as Kana.

Soft footsteps, stepped against the ground, the ground was moist, because it had been early morning, and not even the birds had tried to sing as of yet. The mist was almost blinding, it made it’s on barrier, against anything, only the silhouettes of objects and people. This was why the village of the mist, had been called that, although within the almost asphyxiating mist, a pair of demonic like, ruby red eyes had been seen, that had been all, and the demonic eyes had seemed to be annoyed, the mist had came in faster then expected, but it had been ever so quickly, fading to the point the figure could have been seen, it was a slim woman. The Illusionist.
She had been walking at a slow pace non the less, she had been so caught up in all the drama, she had forgotten the basic human needs. She’s been neglecting her feeding habit. She had been too stressed to think straight, although her eyes, seemed focus on the world, her conscious had been off some where else, where she could ignore the, pain churning hunger she had, for food. The fire like, pain that she had forgotten to eat, no her mind had been some where else, wherever it was, it seemed to take her from reality.
She paused, her ears twitching, although her mind had been in another place.. she had been completely aware of her surroundings. She turned holding her blade up, as kunai clung off of it. She had counted four of them, four different foot steps. She stopped and the mist seemed to be clearing, but ever so slightly, she still couldn’t see their face. She paused, and smiled, one of the kunais had deflected off her blade and must of sliced theirselves. She grinned, oh how she wanted it.
She disappeared, and reappeared, one had not been lucky enough to get away in time, her blade came crashing down. Blood like rain fall down she grinned, as the blood seemed to be attracted to her blade, like a magnet to it’s opposite. She hunched over her head down, how cute..they thought they could stop her. She looked to them, and one seemed to stop and stare at her.
The universe was hostile, so impersonal. Devour to survive so it is, so it’s always been. She ran forward, three kunais sticking to her shoulders, she swung her blade, the man managed to escape, him poofing into water, she brought her blade back, behind her sticking to the mans head. we all feed on tragedy.. it’s like blood to a vampire. She grinned and turned, two more left, the smaller of the two, ran forward, as they went at her. How pathetic, did they not know that they must have been a lower level to her? She stared to the person, until they were close enough to see her, they paused, and she grinned. It had been a girl, she swung down.
drip
The non achromatic woman shut up from the tree, a blood pool beneath her. She stared down to it, her own reflection in the puddle, she paused and grinned. ”Don’t look at me, like I am a monster.” she whispered softly to the puddle, before gripping her shoulder blades and standing up, she had long left the mist, and was some where in a forest. Her blade was resting on her shoulder, it had been full. Her free hand gripping the wound, the blade seemed to wish for more blood.
She looked up, and sun rays hit through the forest floor, but she could see that dark rain clouds had been coming up, to drown the sun within the darkness. She looked to the dirt trail, and continued to walk.
