Naruto sat while the Sandaime looked over his shinobi profile. Grinning he exclaimed "Took me forever to think of a good face for that picture! After three hours I finally decided on that one!" Nodding with himself he exclaimed "But comon you've gotta admit it's artistic right?"
It was at this point that the Sandaime spoke for the first time the entire meeting "Retake it." "WHAT!?!" Naruto yelled 'What could possibly be wrong with it? I worked my butt off trying to make it work and I have to redo it? COME ON!!!' He thought furiously trying to figure out why the Hokage wanted him to redo such an awesome picture. "And where's your forehead protector?" The Hokage asked with a patient look on his face.
"I didn't want to scratch it before tomorrow's ceremony," Naruto said with a sheepish look on his face. "This Shinobi Registration Book lists all shinobi and their abilities. This is a very important document so why did you make that face?" Now he looked at Naruto for an explanation.
'What? I didn't know. If I'd known something was so important I'd have done a better job of it. How was I supposed to know it's so important if no one told me so?' Naruto thought before he responded "Well, You see, I don't really understand stuff like that." Sick of sounding nervous and awkward he yelled "SEXY JUTSU" and held his hands in the handseal and transformed into a nude blond teenage buxom girl with wisps of smoke covering her sexual bits. The door creaked and Naruto turned at the door 'What was that?'

Things were all going according to plan. This time, the student would make use of all of his skills, in both areas of stealth and combat, to complete his one and only mission. The target was preoccupied with another potential threat, one with rather remarkable features, including bright yellow hair, and an orange jumpsuit that made him an even easier target, if this was even possible. Readying himself for the inevitable reaction by both his target and the other threat, Konohamaru gripped the handle of the door, forcing it open perhaps an inch or so as he readied himself, and swung it open quickly. He’d already tried to sneak up on his grandfather in the past, and all of his attempts have ended with completely and utter failure. He was done underestimating the Hokage’s skills of perception, and would instead take him on head-to-head, full force, and in an honorable way. When he swung the door open, it would surprise the Sandaime enough to force him to stall for a moment, giving the young shinobi time to strike. It was an ingenious and well thought out plan, and Konohamaru was rather proud of himself for thinking up this tactic that would surely be used countless times in the future by those trying to emulate him.
Flying through the doorway triumphantly, shuriken poised in hand for the killing blow, Konohamaru’s movements were swift, and it was clear that he would come out on top here. ”Fight me, old geezer!” He shouted, taunting his grandfather while he lunged. The look on the Sandaime Hokage’s face did not change a fantastic amount, as his thoughts seemed to go from exasperation with the young Naruto to exasperation with his grandson. Now, all Konohamaru needed to do was deal the killing blow, and victory would finally be his. However, it was at this moment that the hands of fate decided to turn against him, as his own outfit betrayed him. The scarf that he used to keep his neck warm and protected got caught up in the rapid movement of his feet, and thus, the great Konohamaru fell, defeated.
Clearly, however, such an event could not have happened without the prompting of his enemy. Pushing himself up from the ground with his hands, Konohamaru looked around and began wondering exactly what had happened. ”Damn it!! Who set a trap?!” He hadn’t taken his eyes off of his grandfather throughout the entirety of his attack, yet the other boy in the room was another story. Yes, it was all very clear now, his attack had been detected by some sort of guard, and reported to the Hokage, who then planted the other boy in the room to trip him up and foil his attempt. Hurrying over to the boy, Konohamaru opened his mouth in argument, ignoring the entrance of his sensei in favor of exacting his revenge over this slight against him. “I know you are the one who set a trap!!” He yelled at the boy, his face ablaze with fury. He almost had the old geezer, and this boy had messed things up for him. It was frustrating beyond belief, and he wasn’t about to let the yellow-haired boy get away with what he did.
What was even more embarrassing was that Ebisu had come to try and protect him. He understood that he was the Hokage’s grandson, but he needed to prove himself to the rest of the village, and show that he was not merely an honorable grandson, but an academy student of the Hidden Leaf Village, and soon to be the greatest shinobi in the village itself. This boy wasn’t going to stop him, and soon, he’d be one of the people looking up to him, acknowledging the greatest Hokage the Hidden Leaf Village had ever known, Konohamaru Sarutobi.

Naruto raised his eyebrow when this twerp ran in and facefaulted when he tried to attack the Hokage. Then got mildly outraged when the brat tried to blame him for tripping over himself 'Who does he think he is, the idiot runs in to attack the Hokage, trips over his own scarf like a fool, then blames me. Oh come on!' Flashing his eyes towards the sandaime for a moment he almost chuckled when he saw the exasperated look on his face. 'Apparently this happens quite a lot, is the twerp related to him or something?'
At this point a jounin dressed all in black including bandanna on his head burst through the mostly opened doorway and yelled something about the twerp being the honorable grandson of the third hokage. Reaching for the twerp intent on teaching him a lesson naruto thought again, 'I don't know who this punk thinks he is but i'm officially a shinobi of the leaf and nobody insults me for no reason and gets away with it.' Okay so Naruto's thoughts weren't exactly him thinking twice about it but they'd work just fine.
"You tripped over your own feet you moron!!!" He yelled into the little punk's face. The Jounin yelled something like put him down because he's the honorable grandson and the punk just grinned at him. This infuriated naruto even more and caused him to quickly bash the kid on the head yelling "I don't care if he's your grandmother!!!" Turning back to the Sandaime and snapping off a quick bow he said "I'll retake the picture and have it to you soon old man." Now he turned to the window and jumped through it heading anywhere trying to calm his spirits before he hurt someone by accident. Damn little punks like that REALLY pissed him off.

As the Genin grabbed Konohamaru by the cuff of his shirt, the student heard his sensei Ebisu yell in his defense. The Jounin informed this “Naruto” of his status, telling him that he was the Sandaime Hokage’s honorable grandson, and that Naruto would not get away with harming him. Looking back at Naruto, Konohamaru had to suppress something of a smirk. Even here, held captive in enemy territory, these people were afraid of him. Whether it was because of his own incredible amount of strength, or because of the position his grandfather held, this boy was just like Ebisu and all of the others, looking at him as nothing more than the grandson of a Hokage, and not as a true opponent. It might be a bit distasteful, but it just proved how much weaker this boy’s resolve was when compared to his own. ”Come on then!! Go ahead, punch me!!” He yelled, taunting the slightly older boy. He wouldn’t hit him, that much Konohamaru knew for sure. Even in the grasp of his enemy, the one who had ensnared him and caused his assault of the Hokage to fail, he was completely and utterly safe.
Suddenly, he felt an impact like never before hit him on the very crown of his head. ”Ouch!!” As he staggered back, bringing his arms up to protect him from any further blows, Konohamaru heard this Naruto boy exclaim something along the lines of “I don’t care if he’s your grandmother!” This boy…this boy had actually hit him! He’d laid a finger on the honorable grandson of the Sandaime Hokage, and showed no apprehension or fear in doing so. As he watched the boy leave, Konohamaru couldn’t help but feel a bit of shock pass through his senses as he assessed the situation. This boy had done something that no one…not Ebisu, not the other Jounin, not anyone who lived in the Hidden Leaf Village would ever do. Did this mean he was, in fact, stronger than anyone else in the village? Did his lack of fear come from how powerful he was? When he’d peeked in the doorway, Konohamaru had caught a glimpse of his gramps getting hit with some sort of “sexy jutsu”, and while he didn’t necessarily understand how it worked or what was done to achieve that effect, he knew that with this jutsu at his disposal, he could beat his grandfather and prove that he had what it takes to be a great shinobi, and eventually rise to Hokage! Ebisu had never shown him anything like this before!
Therefore, while his sensei was distracted and apologizing to his grandfather for what happened, Konohamaru took his chance and slipped away, making sure he had all the necessary essentials on him. His absolute greatest asset would be stealth when it came to tracking this ninja he wanted to learn more about, and he knew he would be up to the challenge. He would follow him, and attempt to find what the secret to the boy’s strength was. He wasn’t hard to find…that orange jumpsuit made this “Naruto” a very easy mark to shadow. He kept a firm distance away from the boy, making sure there was no way for him to be spotted. This boy’s strength might be great, but there was no one in the entirety of the Hidden Leaf Village that could spot his Cloak of Invisibility Technique if he performed it properly…which granted, he sometimes had trouble doing, but that wasn’t the point! The point was, his very future hung in the balance, and he needed to make sure the boy was worthy of his time.
So, like a shadow in the dead of night, Konohamaru followed this boy, making sure he was ever alert and always attentive, ready to spring into cover at any given time. As he passed, he could have sworn he saw a few of the other members of the village glance his way, but so long as none of them blew his cover, he wasn’t going to bother with them. The only thing he cared about, and the only thing he had eyes on at this particular moment, was the boy that could potentially show him the way to becoming Hokage. They walked, and they walked, and every time the boy seemed suspicious, Konohamaru would dive behind cover in either the form of an alley, behind a post in the ground, or whatever else he could find. He couldn’t help but be proud at his own resourcefulness as he gazed at what would be his most difficult challenge yet. The boy would soon walk into a rather open area, with virtually no natural cover with which he could shield himself. The only landmark of note was a plain picket fence which could hardly be called an important feature…
Wait.
He stopped his thoughts right there. That was it. Grabbing a nearby piece of cloth, and taking from his pants one of his many incredibly potent tools, a black marker, he began hastily scrawling the pattern of the fence onto it. It was a pretty rough sketch, but Konohamaru had had years of practice with this sort of thing, and was a rather good artist if he did say so himself. Albeit, perhaps the size of the planks weren’t to scale, and the pattern of wood on the paper didn’t perfectly match that of the fence as he’d hoped, but it would do. Thankful for his own foresight, he watched as the boy was already halfway through the area he’d seen, and hurried to the fence, holding his cover up in front of him and inching his way toward the boy, who he was certain was absolutely unaware of his presence. The disguise was working perfectly, but as the boy stopped and seemed to turn his head slightly in suspicion, Konohamaru froze immediately, holding his cover in a rather convincing manner, and not moving a muscle. His own breathing stopped for a moment, and he could feel his heart race as the older boy surveyed his surroundings. Were it not for his wondrous ability to think on his feet, Konohamaru would have been spotted immediately. But now, he could at least feel a little ounce of comfort in the fact that his disguise would keep him safe from repercussions, as he waited for Naruto to continue on his way…

Naruto was mildly... ok he was extremely irritated. This kid had been following him for blocks diving behind random objects every time Naruto turned around and not very well at that. His scarf had the annoying habit of sticking out of his cover. 'God this kid's annoying. I ALMOST want to teach the little brat how it's really done but I get the impression it wouldn't help. Most I can do is continue to ignore him' Naruto thought as he walked.
Unfortunately for Naruto it wasn’t that easy. The brat whose real name Naruto didn’t know, as Naruto highly doubted that it was Honorable Grandson, just kept following him with no apparent aim in doing so. Getting more and more irritated as time went on Naruto couldn’t help but think, ‘Oh come on. He’s not even good at this. At least my cloak works on friggin Chuunin. His wouldn’t work on a 5 year old. Who is he for that matter, he comes in to attack the Hokage and all that’s done is essentially face palming and a sigh from the Sandaime. Then it’s ME that gets yelled at by that random Jounin when I grabbed the shrimp. Not cool random Jounin, not cool.’
As he thought this he kept walking and occasionally stopping which was just making him more irritated because the kid couldn’t even hide properly. Giving up on ignoring him Naruto spun around and yelled “Stop following me already! You’re horrible at that the lines at the very least should be straight up and down not sideways!!!” Momentarily calming Naruto waited for what would probably be a singularly awesome moment of raw overconfidence and stupidity.

Inconceivable!
Unbelievable!
Nigh impossible!
It seemed as though this Naruto person held a skill far above what he had granted him at first. He’d seen through Konohamaru’s seemingly infallible cloak of invisibility, and seemed to have done so without any problem, going from a seemingly neutral state to one of alertness and anger in a split second. A surprised look crossed the young academy student’s face when this first happened, yet this expression changed just as fast as the mood of this Naruto had changed, going from astonished to determined in the blink of an eye. The young boy lowered his cloak, allowing the orange-wearing Genin to savor his assuredly difficult victory over Konohamaru’s stealth skills, and slowly opened his mouth to announce his opinion on the matter.
”Impressive to see through my cover…it seems the rumors about you were true.” The boy said with an almost praising tone to his voice, snickering to himself slightly as he began the line. He had heard rumors of the promise that this year’s class of Genin had, mostly while he was lying in wait to assault his grandfather, and test the old man’s strength. A few of the Chuunin instructors had spoken with the Sandaime regarding the talents of the newly graduated shinobi, and Konohamaru had heard bits and pieces of conversation, gathering intelligence that could possibly be used to his advantage in the future. He was sure this boy was one of the year’s top students, and then suddenly realized that perhaps attacking the boy was not the best course of action. He could learn something from someone like this…and as this dawned on him, Konohamaru let his cloak drop to the ground, and approached the boy, a new idea in mind for an advancement in power.
”Hey, I’ll make you my boss!” The boy exclaimed, pointing to the boy with an excited look on his face. As the Genin responded with confusion, Konohamaru continued one with his idea. ”And in exchange…” The boy could hardly contain himself, as he clenched his fists and burst into his final statement , the idea that would surely allow him to defeat his grandfather. “Teach me that ‘sexy jutsu’ which you beat gramps with!!!” He awaited the Genin’s response, as he excitedly looked at him. Konohamaru knew that if he could master the sexy technique that had so easily taken down his grandfather, he could most definitely become the next Hokage through use of this jutsu. Yes, there was no question, he needed his jutsu, and it would lead him to great heights. He could sense it…this boy would teach him the technique that would display his skill, and allow him to prove his worth to all around him. He needed to show this boy what he had, and what he could do, and it would end up being worth it. But he needed to make sure he impressed him, and therefore let him share all of his secrets, or else he would be sacrificing the opportunity of a lifetime.
According to Ebisu, his Jounin trainer, the fastest way for him to become a Hokage was to listen to his instructions, and apply himself in that way. However, Konohamaru simply couldn’t respect the Jounin, after listening to him use the term honorable grandson, and constantly pampering him. It felt as though the path of a shinobi should be a difficult one, where you test your skill against the enemy in a match of wits, power, and in a battle to the very last ounce of one’s energy, not a simple walk through the park. As much as he wanted to be Hokage, the only way to prove that he was better than his grandfather was to beat him in battle and listening to Ebisu and focusing on simple studies wasn’t going to achieve that. This boy, however, he could respect. He seemed to have a mind of his own, someone who wouldn’t pamper the child, but would instead give him advice and tell him what he was doing wrong straight off. Besides, he’d already proven that he could defeat the Sandaime in combat, and anyone that could do that was someone Konohamaru longed to learn from.
So he awaited the boy’s answer, looking at him with something of a longing glint in his eyes, hoping that the boy would reply in the affirmative. He was taking longer to answer than the impatient young child would normally like, and Konohamaru couldn’t bear to wait in suspense. He gritted his teeth slightly, his fists clenching once more as he attempted to pry the answer from the older boy. ”Please boss!?” He asked first, hoping that maybe the boy would decide quicker if he showed him his determination. He needed to hurry somewhat, and get out of this large, open area. If Ebisu came by looking for him, there was no telling when he could be dragged off. Granted, if this boy could defeat his grandfather, Ebisu would be no problem whatsoever, but he would rather not risk a battle with the Jounin without learning the technique that would eventually become his ace in the hole. Yet still, the boy didn’t answer, as though he were considering the situation, and whether or not it would be worth it. Didn’t he understand how much this meant to him? He needed to know that technique, and he wasn’t going to take no for an answer…asking was merely a formality. If it came down to it, brute force would suffice as well.
But still, he would rather not engage in a battle with someone of such power. He had enough trouble with his grandfather, so fighting someone that could so easily defeat him would not be a very good situation for the child. Once more asking this boy, this Naruto, he allowed something of a pleading tone to enter his voice, to display his desire to learn the ultimate technique, which Konohamaru was most certainly sure was high ranked and possibly forbidden.
”Boss..?”

Naruto was slightly confused when Konohamaru asked him to be his boss and teach him the Sexy Jutsu. Nobody except for Shikamaru, Chouji and Kiba ever asked him to do anything with them. Teaching them however, was entirely unheard of.
‘This has to be a sick joke. There’s no way anybody would want me to teach them especially not someone who’s apparently the Hokage’s grandson. He actually HAS people that care about him. I don’t get why he wants me to teach him that obviously joke jutsu. It has absolutely no actual combat applications whatsoever.’ He thought to himself quite confused as to the reason Konohamaru thinks he’s important at all.
Finally deciding he thought ‘I might as well do this. If we’re going to do this, I’m going to do this RIGHT. I’ll need a hiding spot from that pile of useless of a Jounin. I’ll need to assess what he CAN do. I can’t not know what he’s capable of, that’d just make me look like a fool and I won’t be made a fool out of. At any rate we have to get somewhere we won’t be found and soon.’ He thought to himself and turned back to Konohamaru and nodded confirmation.
“Let’s get out of the public eye. I wouldn’t want me to get slugged or something by like eight women while you go untouched,” He said as he waved his hand as if Konohamaru should follow him.
Moving through a crowded street he found one of the more secluded parks in the area and stopped to wait for Konohamaru. He didn’t know if he’d gone too fast for the little brat or not. ‘This’ll work just fine. I just hope Ebisu doesn’t find us too quickly. That would take the fun out of this entire little episode.’ He thought to himself.

And just like that, once more, Konohamaru had succeeded in his objective. As he followed the older boy, he couldn’t help but be thankful for his masterful skills in the ways of stealth and trickery. These had assuredly made the boy see that he should be trained further, and by a true master, rather than someone who doesn’t even understand him. Thinking on it, Konohamaru could not come up with one moment where he was glad that Ebisu was his tutor, and not someone who might help him reach his full potential, and understand his goals better. The man tried hard to teach him things, but it just didn’t get through in the end. He was just like all the others, seeing him through his grandfather, rather than as his own person, Konohamaru Sarutobi. Well, it wouldn’t matter any longer! With this new teacher, his new boss, Naruto, he could show Ebisu what he could do even without focusing on the training that he gave him, and prove to everyone that he would not be stopped. He was his own person, and soon, he would be on par with the boy who had just defeated his grandfather with a single move.
Most of all, above all else, Konohamaru was simply excited. He was a young boy, after all, and learning new things that he thought would make him stronger and help him in any way caught his attention and forced his mind onto the task at hand. As he followed Naruto, he couldn’t help but keep a rather large grin on his face, staring at the back of the boy’s orange jumpsuit, his fists clenched excitedly as he braced himself for a new sort of training. He’d never learned technique such as this before, and he knew that the training must have been intense. But he was ready for whatever this boy might throw at him, and he would handle every challenge with style and finesse. Among his friends, Konohamaru had always been the unofficial “leader” of things…and as much as some uninformed souls might contribute that to his status as the honorable grandson of the village, Konohamaru knew that he could take control of this situation, just as he took the lead among his group of friends, and prove his honor to his new boss, his new teacher.
To be honest, Konohamaru had never really had a role model at all in his life. When he was smaller, he used to look up to the older shinobi and even to his grandfather before deciding to oppose him for his own reasons. Yet now, who did he have to look up to? The Sandaime Hokage was his enemy…well, not so much his enemy as the man he will one day defeat, and replace. Ebisu was his tutor, but he couldn’t look up to a man that was so afraid of both his grandfather and even him, and respected him only for his lineage. After that, there were only his Chuunin instructors, who might know what they were doing, but just didn’t grab his attention in the way that would be useful for teaching. This boy…he might just be the very first person Konohamaru would see as a role model. He’d follow him as his subordinate as the boy taught him what he knew. Naruto… The small child said the older boy’s name in his head slowly. He liked it. Naruto and Konohamaru had a nice ring to it, he supposed.
Opening his mouth, the grin still wide on his face, Konohamaru piped up quickly. ”So boss, how did you think of such an amazing technique? You beat gramps so easy!” The child didn’t quite understand the situation, that might be true, but his heart was definitely in it, which was a refreshing change from his usual attitude. It was actually a large step for Konohamaru, participating in a plan that didn’t involve assaulting his grandfather, and although that was still the motive behind his longing to learn this technique, he was at least giving the Sandaime time to recover from the previous assault…which most likely translates to giving the old man some quiet time to relax. Tripping over his scarf slightly, though he would certainly blame it on ‘enemy forces’, Konohamaru stumbled forward, falling while attempting to steady himself. Full force, the crown of his head connected with the older boy’s lower back, and the child crumbled to the ground, recoiling from the impact and rubbing his head in an attempt to calm the soreness.
”Owwwww…” He murmured quietly, opening his eyes and looking up at his boss, hoping the repercussions for this attack weren’t great. Konohamaru had obviously missed the chance to dodge the enemy’s attack…but the more he thought about it, the more the child realized that this was probably a test! Yes, his boss was definitely a genius. The stealth mission had only been his first examination! Naruto expected him to continue to display his skills in different areas of combat! Eluding strikes was just as important as eluding sight, and Konohamaru felt somewhat stupid for not realizing this sooner. Standing and raising his fist for a proclamation, the child’s eyes burned with a fiery resolve.
”I get it boss! Next time will be better!” He shouted, adjusting his helmet to ensure it was in the correct position, and standing triumphant at his realization, awaiting his boss’ response. He was not going to fail this trial. He was sure Naruto would understand that he hadn’t expected that, and he was probably going to be given a strike or two. If not, he’d just need to find another way to impress the older boy, and prove himself worthy. This was something Ebisu would never have thought to do, and while the Jounin might be looking for him as they spoke, Konohamaru was not worried whatsoever. Anyone who could defeat his grandfather with ease could immediately dispatch a Jounin, no question. Konohamaru felt his heart jump as excitement pulsed through his veins. Never had the young child been so immersed in his ‘lessons’, and never had his attention been so fixated on a task.
I’ll do it!

Naruto of course had literally no idea what Konohamaru was talking about but decided to go with it as he discreetly rubbed his lower back. Discreetly as in yelling “LOOK A YELLOW ZEBRA” as Naruto was pointing behind Konohamaru. If it worked he’d be hopping around silently in pain behind the short child.
‘Accident or not that friggin hurt. What is that helmet MADE of, titanium? I’ll have to replace it with a decoy so I can test it in my evil lab,’ the thought almost made him start cackling maniacally until, ‘Oh, right, it never got built. That’s a pity,’ and with that the tangent simply vanished from Naruto’s mind though it did leave behind a note saying “Ask Sandaime what in the blue hell Konohamaru’s helmet is made of.”
Back on subject Naruto grinned wide and looked at Konohamaru. “Well let’s see your transformation jutsu. Try to turn into… this girl,” Naruto said as he pulled out a picture of a supermodel in a bikini. The girl was… rather gifted in the chest area. Nodding he said “Notice the supple curves of her body. Go!” he yelled the last part. He just hoped Konohmaru wouldn’t turn into a fat chick. They’d have a lot of work ahead of them if that were the case.
‘I just had to think it, didn’t I. I had to jinx myself. Oh well, if Random Jounin shows up I can probably take him with my super secret new jutsu that I invented in the span of… 2 seconds. Wow, if Jutsu creation’s this easy I should just do that for a living. I mean I do it all the time anyways and with apparent ease,’ He thought thinking about maybe actually doing it ‘Nah, I’ve never heard of a famous jutsu creator and if I’ve not heard of them they’re probably just a punk trying to take over a small country.’

His attention was focused, his vision was finally clear, and he was aware of his surroundings completely. The look on Konohamaru’s face reflected his inner-determination, and he awaited his boss’ next move with every ounce of his attention. Suddenly, Naruto pointed his finger behind the small child, and shouted something about a yellow zebra. Spinning around and assuming his typical stance for battle, Konohamaru was ready for anything. The older boy needed to say no more. Konohamaru had grown up hearing nicknames such as the Yellow Flash at times, and he knew that many shinobi held nicknames such as this. The Yellow Zebra…taking a moment to think about it, Konohamaru could hardly tell what such a name would suggest, but whatever it was, it couldn’t defeat both him and his boss. This would be the moment he proved himself to Naruto, and earned his respect. Removing a shuriken from one of his pockets and holding it tight in his palm, Konohamaru stood ready to counter whatever threat would set foot in his presence.
He was ready.
Nothing could stop him.
He would prove himself.
He would…where was the enemy?
Looking around slowly, his eyes shifting from right to left as he scanned the area completely, he tilted his head in confusion. Turning back to Naruto and seeing him standing straight up suddenly, moving from what must have been his own combat stance, Konohamaru shrugged his shoulders slightly. ”They must have gotten scared, boss…” He said, cursing his luck slightly. That battle may have been the one chance for him to prove to his boss that he could handle learning his ultimate technique, and it had ended before it even started. In the back of his head, he cursed the Yellow Zebra, and vowed that one day he would exact his revenge against the man. Walking closer to the other boy, Konohamaru once more put the shuriken in his pocket, and crossed his arms, still sore over his missed opportunity. However, as soon as his boss mentioned transformation jutsu, which must have been the basis for his super technique, Konohamaru’s eyes lit up and a smile sprang onto his face, as he simply exuded excitement. It didn’t matter that the Yellow Zebra had gotten away, his quick reaction must have proven his worth to Naruto…and now that he thought about it, perhaps this had been another one of Naruto’s tests. Yes, that must be it! Once more, his appreciation for his boss and eventual teacher raised, and he committed his attention to the task at hand.
Nodding his head at the instructions he had received, Konohamaru’s happy voice rang out as he responded. ”Yes boss!” Analyzing the picture for a few moments, he nodded once more in confirmation, as he had the figure thoroughly embedded in his mind. It couldn’t be a problem to create such a thing, it was so radically different than his own body that it should be a simple thing to create. Yes, he would do it. Standing directly in front of his boss and smiling confidently, the young child threw his hands outward and brought them together in a dramatic fashion, making the sign of the Ox just as his boss had done previously. He felt the chakra building up inside of him and waiting to be released, as he visualized what he desired to create, and let the jutsu fly. He felt his outward appearance morphing, and he could tell that it was nothing like he’d looked previously. Yes, it was working! He was doing it! Soon enough, he would prove himself, and this would definitely lead him to a life of notoriety and understanding!
Suddenly, his limbs felt somewhat heavier. He dropped his arms as the transformation completed. Looking down, his hands had grown, and and his arms seemed bulkier than they ever had been. His eyes widened in horror as he looked down at the rest of his body. He was bigger, and he was supposed to grow during the transformation, certainly. But the thing that scared him most was not his new form, and not his feelings that he was lacking dexterity that he’d always had. What scared him, most of all, was…
”My feet!” The small child exclaimed, looking down, his face transfixed in horror. They had disappeared, something must have gone wrong with the transformation, and when he’d gone to alter the appearance of his feet, they had disappeared altogether! He’d grown in size, both height and width-wise, so his torso must have grown to compensate for the disappearance of his feet, and maybe even his legs! The young boy looked up at Naruto, and then back down, his gaze transfixed in disbelief at his midsection, which he supposed would now be called his lower body. Tears welling up in the young child’s eyes, he reared his head back and wailed in terror, falling to his…his knees?
Halting mid-cry and raising his eyebrows in surprise, the large incarnation of Konohamaru turned his head to the side and used his peripheral vision to see…his feet! Sitting there behind him, just as they should be! He wiggled his feet slowly, testing them to make sure he wasn’t just seeing things. Yes, there they were, and he let out a small sigh of relief, wiping his eyes of the tears that had managed to make their way up. Looking at his boss suddenly, his face turned slightly red as he realized what that must have looked like, and he grinned, wiping the rest of the liquid away with a much firmer motion than before.
”That jutsu was pretty tough, my eyes started watering because of the concentration.” He giggled slightly and nervously, rubbing the back of his head. He looked down at his body. He was as tall as he should have been, and he definitely had curves…but they weren’t the same type the boss had talked about. He was more of a bowl than a vase. Frowning, he looked back up at Naruto. ”This must have taken you so long, boss!” He exclaimed, pulling the large flab on his stomach up and letting it go, examining the results...

When Konohamaru transformed into the fat lady Naruto almost died laughing. The smaller child panicked over not being able to see his feet. Thankfully Naruto was able to retain his laughter. Straightening his face with practice born of years from putting on a show for just about everyone he schooled his features into his normal grin and yelled with an urgent sounding voice “No no no, make her skinnier!!!”
‘There is no way Konohamaru would ever get the sexy jutsu down if he couldn’t even get the relative shape right. How bad is this kid at transformation anyways? It doesn’t make sense, he gets tutors up his spoiled little arse and he doesn’t at least get SOME skill from it. That’s impossible right? I suppose I should be glad he’s not like the teme though. I don’t think I could deal with that even just to mess with the Sandaime.’ Naruto thought furiously as he tried to figure out how to teach Konohamaru. Well, without it being a complete and utter failure. That would just well and truly suck.
‘I really hope he can at least get it to look somewhat realistic… and sexy to someone other than an Akimichi. The true test will be when he uses it in front of one of his female teammates and they hit him for being a pervert which is terribly ironic because this attack is meant to neutralize perverts… I wonder if it’d work on the battlefield. Maybe I’ll try it sometime… Ooh I wonder what would happen if I mixed Sexy jutsu with Shadow Clone Jutsu… what would I call that? I’ll probably go with Harem Jutsu.’ He thought nodding on the outside as he waited for Konohamaru to cancel the transformation and try again.

The young child let out a small sigh of relief as his boss moved on to giving him specific instructions when it came to the figure of the woman in question. Naruto didn’t seem to have noticed his moment of terror, which was great news considering Konohamaru didn’t want to seem weak to the older boy. Silently, he praised his own cunning and ability to control his facial features and body language, and allowed his transformation jutsu to disperse, standing happily and with a large grin dominating his expression. Nodding excitedly, Konohamaru felt as though he understood exactly what his boss meant. The woman he had transformed into hadn’t been the correct shape, the type of “supple” that Naruto had described. Closing his eyes, letting the grin fade from his face, and fixing his mind on the picture the boy had shown him, Konohamaru nodded once more, this time slowly as he confirmed his thoughts, and let a small smirk creep onto his face once more. ”I’ve got it boss!” He shouted, opening his eyes and allowing them to shine bright with a determined fire all their own. This was his path to Hokage, his path to absolute dominance! He wouldn’t allow this to slip through his fingers, no matter how long this training had to be.
And so, the young Konohamaru set himself up once more, focusing, concentrating with all of his might on this one task at hand. The boss had said his main problem was the size of the girl herself, that she had been too large and not skinny enough to allow it to be considered a successful Sexy Technique. He needed her to be skinny…the skinnier the better he supposed, just so he could make progress in that direction. He wouldn’t let his boss down, he wasn’t going to allow himself to fail and embarrass himself. He’d prove that he deserved the respect and recognition of every member of the village, and he’d do it using this jutsu! He once more brought his hands together and slammed the sign of the Ox into being, all the while picturing the skinniest things he could think of. A wilted flower, a single blade of grass, the edge of a commonplace blade or knife, all of these would give him a good idea of how skinny he’d aim for. If he overcompensated, then maybe his tendency to go larger would be evened out by sheer will. Yes, he could feel it, this would work! He felt the chakra build inside of him, and exhaled, letting it travel to various areas and morph his physical appearance. Yes, this was going so well! The boy smiled wide as he felt himself change, and he could tell that he was in no way too big this time! He couldn’t wait to see the look on his boss’ face when he mastered the jutsu in only two tries. His imagination ran wild, and suddenly a scenario played out in his head, one that he was sure would be completely accurate:
The older boy’s sharp eyes turned soft suddenly as he viewed the results of the transformation. In the background, Konohamaru could almost hear a faint tune playing, a tune of triumph and victory that would stay with him for the rest of his life, to Hokage and beyond. His boss flung his hands into the air and knelt low, praising Konohamaru and clearly displaying that he was not worthy to be in the child’s presence. ”That was beautiful…” He began, tears welling up in the Genin’s eyes. ”Will…Will you allow me to become your subordinate? Please, teach me your ways!” He continued praising the child as Konohamaru brought his right hand up to his face, cupping his chin thoughtfully with this hand and thinking about the prospect of teaching the boy. Nodding his head, he came to an answer. ”No way!” He exclaimed, turning and laughing to himself as the orange-wearing Genin crumbled to the ground, sobbing. ”My name’s Konohamaru, and with this, I’ll become Hokage!” He exclaimed, raising his arm and pumping his fist in triumph as the vision seemed to come to a close.
Back in the present, Konohamaru could tell his transformation was just about finished. He smiled broadly as the reconstruction came to a close, and stood proudly facing his boss and expecting his vision to now become a reality. However, after a few seconds nothing was said, and Konohamaru opened his eyes once more, frowning and looking down at himself. Shrieking, he saw that his figure had been whittled down to nothing, and many of his bones were clearly visible, any muscles and fat he may have possessed previously had been disintegrated down to nothing. His eyes widened and his face contorted in horror, as he realized what must have happened. Rather than transforming himself, in using his clearly superior chakra he’d created a brand new jutsu that must alter the speed at which time flows. He’d used the jutsu without knowing how to control it, and now, he had a nearly decomposed body! He fell to his knees once more, his eyes welling up as he thought of what might happen. Without the power to do much physical activity, he would never ever be able to be a successful Taijutsu user! Without Taijutsu, he wouldn’t be able to fight at close range! Without being able to fight at close range, he would be beaten easily! And if he was beaten easily, he would never become Hokage! He let out a wail and began to sob as his dreams were crushed before his eyes, and he looked up at the older boy in front of him.
”Boss! Boss! Help! Change it back, please, change it back!!!” He yelled, snot running from his nose slowly as the tears flowed freely. He was even older than his grandfather he was sure, and in this state he had no chance of defeating him! Konohamaru had been defeated by his own power, and the irony of the situation would be told for generations to come, he was sure…

Naruto sweat-dropped when he saw Konohamaru’s new predicament. “NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL!” He yelled as Konohamaru panicked over his new appearance. Pulling out a magazine he kept in his pocket that he’d stolen… or rather ‘borrowed without permission but with every intention of bringing it back’ from an adult shop for research.
‘Maybe this will help the brat do it right. I mean come on first he turned into the fire lord’s wife then a decrepit old hag! How screwed up could it get? At least with this he’ll have a picture… he couldn’t POSSIBLY screw this up… could he?’ Naruto thought hoping to kami that he was wrong.
“This magazine was… borrowed from a shop for the purpose of research for this jutsu. Study it and correct your mental picture and get it right this time! If you get it right… I might buy you ramen. Oh ramen the glorious food of the gods! How I miss thee,” Naruto said before he began to ramble about the wonders of ramen and how delicious it is. He went on and on about how kami herself blessed the first ramen noodles and the blessing carried on through the ages.
So focused was Naruto on his worship of the wonder that is ramen that he forgot Konohamaru was even standing there. “There’s Miso Ramen, Chicken Ramen, Pork Ramen, Naruto Ramen, Vegetable Ramen, even Diety ramen for those ramen haters who hate it for the “Unhealthy” fats in it. Pft, Like ramen could ever be unhealthy.” He nodded emphatically to himself as he continued ranting.
