Kari needed to get away from the city, there was so much noise and confusion there. Concentrating for a moment his kekkei genkai flickered on and he felt around the training grounds through the wind to see if anyone was near. Sitting down with a small book he wrote a few notes in it then traveled across the field and started setting several traps.
After a few moments of pulling wires taunt and gently setting kunai and shuriken poised to a direct spot in the field. Standing up he went back to his book and scribbled down a few things then walked over to stand in the middle of the target.
Breathing heavily he pulled out a kunai and rolled up his left sleeve. With one quick motion he tossed the kunai into a taunt rope across the field, and with a snap a flurry of traps went off sending a barrage of logs, kunai, shuriken, and rocks flying across the field toward Kari.
Holding his arm out the mark on his wrist started to grow slightly, and with a hiss the wind around him buzzed with movement. And then something unexpected to a passer by happened. The waves of miscellaneous objects headed toward the boy stopped suddenly as if they had hit a giant invisible spiders web. He smirked and spun his body around once, sending the objects flying back across the field and into nearby trees and a few even hit one or two of the targets he had set up.
He sighed unhappily, his power was there but he needed to work on his accuracy with his first line of defense. He deactivated his kekkei genkai and scribbled down a few more notes in his book, all the while walking toward a large rock in the field. But just as he was about to sit his eyes darted to the side, he felt something moving and he looked around covering his arm back up.
Even though it was a chance to be an animal Kari didn't take chances when it came to anyone knowing about his ability.

The wind velocity increased slightly in the area of Training Grounds. It felt cool on Neji's skin, littered with dirt and sweat. He had trained intensely for the past hour, honing his Kaiten technique further than most main branch members could reach. They were weak, especially shown in their recent heir, Hinata. If her timid, scared, and kind persona reflected the main house, then his luck was clearly ripe. But the young Hyuuga felt close to them, in regards to their learning their secret and powerful techniques. What he did not feel was sympathy, apathy, or even empathy. Neji felt a deep hatred against them. It kept his fire burning to surpass them, and prove that despite his servitude to them, he was strong.
His thoughts were interrupted by a multitude of movements to his left. There were multiple weapons heading for some kid, directly in the line of fire. Neji's interest peaked at the sight, though slightly, to see how the young boy would react. Unexpectedly, the weapons stopped in mid-air. "Hm," he remarked, crossing his arms. That hardened expression set on Neji's face remained, even when the weapons and objects were thrown back to some targets set up. The Hyuuga stood in the way, yet seemed less than fazed. None of them even graced his presence, as expected. Even worse for the young boy, he had hit little to no targets, compared to the amount set up.
Neji appeared in the clearing. He kept a decent distance and now, his arms were at his sides. Those white, pupil-less eyes made direct contact with the boy's. "Most shinobi use their hands instead of cheap tricks to hit their targets," he remarked. "You cannot do neither." From observation, he drew this conclusion. Why was this kid training, anyway? Did he not understand that if he could not hit those targets before, they would never be pierced again? His skills were in stalemate, and made him weak.

Kari closed his eyes as he stood in the field. His back still turned toward the figure that had entered the clearing. He held out one hand, feeling the wind around him. He could tell the breathing was defiantly human, and the amount of wind that was grazing off of the figure gave away the fact that it was a moderately tall male. He grumbled rather unhappily, after all he came out to these fields to train because they were often deserted, but today someone had happened to interrupt his silence.
He pulled out his notebook again and scribbled down a few more tips and notes for himself before finally turning around to face the other shenobi. He recognized the other ninja from the village, although he couldn't quite figure out who it was from the distance between the two. He grumbled rather unhappily as the boy started speaking to him about cheep tricks. He scowled and clenched his left hand into a fist.
He could spend his time trying to explain what he was doing out here to the other boy, or he could ignore him. Although neither option seemed very compelling to Kari, after all he already knew he was out here training. It would only be a matter of time before he tried to find out who he was. "I don't have time to talk to you" Kari grumbled to himself and looked at the other guy with a rather annoyed glare.

Neji tapped a nerve in the kid already. Genin these days were easily irascible, taking their faults personally. This is what the Hyuuga took into consideration whenever he found another victim. But it proved easier amongst this generation. What they lacked physically, they also lacked mentally, and spiritually. He walked over to a nearby target placed on a tree. Only one of the two that held a weapon, not even within a reasonable area. "Where else is your time devoted to?" Neji asked rhetorically without concern in his voice. With his back to the Genin, he removed the shuriken from the target. His fingers grazed over the metallic object. No strings attached. How else did the kid push the weapons and objects back? The mystery continued in his head, articulating what he saw, and prior knowledge on the Tenketsu.
"It isn't to your training," Neji admitted for the kid, turning to face him. The shuriken remained in his right hand, twirled obsessively. Both arms were crossed, leaning against the tree. "You might as well stick to doodling." The Hyuuga's white eyes kept focused on his victim, watching intently on any further changes in his physical appearance. He had received a clenched fist, a tense tone, and a statement meant to show disinterest. What else could happen in Neji's foolproof plan?

Kari grumbled again, his distaste for the other boy was growing. Although he wanted to strike at him he knew he most likely would be outmatched. He wanted to get back to his training, but he knew the other boy wasn't going to stop hassling him anytime soon. The boy started speaking again, poking more fun at Kari's inaccuracy with the projectiles. True he was not the most accurate, but he could stop them with ease. His strength was there, he just needed to hone his abilities a little more.
Kari began to grind his teeth together, really trying to avoid the boy. His remarks about him not training enough, and his notebook caused Kari to take a step forward. He clenched his right hand and glared at him. "What do you want!?"

The tension rose between the two Genin, much to Neji's delight. He had successfully stirred a boiling anger in the kid. Resting his body against the tree, he continued the verbal assault. But from the kid's approach, perhaps he would resort to physical measures. Not the wisest idea, yet he was not one to alert another's stupidity. "Your destiny is set in stone," Neji responded to the Genin's question sternly, though his expression remained composed. "No matter how much you train, there won't be a margin of progress in your abilities." The kid did not understand it. Even after all his sessions, he still refused to accept the reality. His skills were not advancing.
Neji twirled the shuriken consistently still, not finding the motion an obsession nor a way to pass the time. The plan remained intact. "Your training is futile, unless you can prove me right," challenged the Hyuuga. Even if he declined the challenge, Neji had already decided upon an alternative to keep the kid on edge. Either way, fate significantly favored the Hyuuga Prodigy.

Kari snarled at the kid as chakra started flowing toward the mark on his left arm. He was getting more and more frustrated the more the kid was talking. He tried to hone his abilities in private, although why this time did he have to be interrupted. "I wont challen-" Kari began to speak out to the other boy only to stop when he heard him make a remark about how he would never become better even with his training. "You don't know me! What gives you the right to decide!"
Kari gritted his teeth and the wind around the two hissed a little. When the other boy made a remark about proving him wrong Kari cracked a slight smile. "Fine then....." Slowly Kari pulled up his sleeve over his left arm, holding his hand out in the open air. "Well! What are you waiting for jack ass!"

Neji remained composed when the kid begun showing more aggressive signs toward the harsh words. It was not the first time someone had done so, and rest assured, not the last time, either. Although he was perhaps the most hated Genin, he was unarguably the most feared. He respected both, knowing that these low-life Genin were no match for him. The challenge was accepted, much to the Hyuuga's pleasure. He ignored the kid's accusation and insult, skipping straight to the part he had been planning. "Prepare yourself," he stated calmly, moving his fingers into view.
He was suddenly holding four shuriken, arched in the path of the Genin. Neji, with an outward and swift flick of both wrists, accurately threw the metallic projectiles. His body arching forward to increase the velocity, thereby increasing its potency, observed the kid's reaction to the sudden assault. Would he dodge or use his hidden technique? Whichever option he had chosen, Neji continually stayed one step ahead of the weak, cementing his rightful title as a Hyuuga Prodigy.
