Name: Tsukimi Aimi
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Village: Sunagakure
Rank: Genin
Nature Manipulation: Doton
Appearance:
At 5’, Aimi Tsukimi is the exact image of a typical “girl next door” with soft and angelic looking facial features. Her skin is smooth, with no visible signs of typical teen blemishes (as of yet.) Her skin is pale, despite spending all of her time out in the sun training, so that it is easy to tell when her cheeks are rosy. Her nose is small and slightly turned up, giving her a look of innocence (which hits right on the mark most of the time.) Her eyes are a bright, soft grey that tend to reflect her emotions. Around people she loves, they tend to become a lighter shade that reflects glimmers of laughter that are never around when she is around the people she dislikes. They light up when she is passionate about something, and become dull and uninterested whenever she’s bored. Her eyelashes are long and dark, and make her eyes pop. Her teeth are straight and white that hide behind her pale pink lips.
Aimi’s hair, with the color of her father but the style of her mother, is pulled back into a small, cute ponytail. The strands that don’t quite reach the usually purple band frame across her face and often hides her face if she ducks her head (which she is prone to do.) Let loose, her hair is short and doesn’t even reach her shoulders. She generally leaves it in a ponytail, although, on her days off, she tends to leave it loose with it hanging straight or slightly wavy. No matter what she does with her black hair, it always tells faintly like vanilla, which is how her teammates know that it is her. She is very petite, and has hardly any curves (although, this is expected as she is 13 years old). She is also very slender, causing people to underestimate her because of her build.
Although she is a kunoichi and expected to use seduction at some point in the future, Aimi cares very little for her looks. Unlike some of the others, she does not use make-up. She wears a red tank top that ends up going down passed her pockets on her shorts, but wears a top over it. The top is white with the edges being black. Slightly off centered to the left, she has a black line running down it. The top has a high collar that she often attaches her radio to in order to communicate with her team. She wears fingerless gloves that start off black until they reach an inch before the bend of her elbow, where they turn red like her shirt. She wears black shorts that end 6 inches before her knees. On her right thigh, she has bandages that are wrapped tightly and a blue holster where she keeps her weapons. As opposed to the regular ninja sandals, Aimi wears ninja boots that reach all the way up to her knees. There is a strip of them near the top that is the same color as her shirt, but are, otherwise, black.
Personality: Aimi Tsukimi is a forceful and independent young lady, except for when she is around people she doesn’t know. It’s at that point that she has the tendency to hide behind her two teammates. She is extremely hard on herself so it is impossible for her to relax around people she doesn’t know, so people think she is shy and quiet, which is the opposite of how she truly is around her friends.
Anyone who has known Aimi for a while can say honestly that she is a very spirited girl. From an early age, she proved that just because she is the youngest of 5, and the only girl in her family, doesn’t mean that she was going to be weak in comparison with her brothers. Under the fierce guidance of her parents, and the relentless teasing and over-protection from her brothers, she is a scary loyal, passionate, coy, unrelenting teenage girl.
Aimi has the habit of relying mainly on her gut instinct, beliefs, and love for her family and friends. Although hesitant at first, she will jump into battle, or drop whatever she is doing to ensure that someone she loves has a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to. While she tends to come off as rash, she has the ability to reign in her anger and power to focus on the needs of others. When people in her life have a problem, she listens wholeheartedly. She is caring and compassionate by nature, just as she is a strong force in all areas of life.
Some people find Aimi abrasive and cold and she can be. She has no patience or desire to give details of her life, or put up with people she dislikes. Standing on neutral ground is hard for her to understand. Her side is the only side, and she tends to ignore those who feel differently. Her will to stand up to anyone Her will to stand up to anyone, friend or enemy, comes from this trait. Once she is angered, it takes her a long time to apologize, or speak to that person in order to came up with him/her. She is one of those people who takes everything to heart, and finds it hard to trust people again once they have broken her trust.

History: Aimi Tsukimi was born on February 13th to her parents, Misa and Aoi Tsukimi. Her mother was a retired Chuunin, having withdrawn herself from being a ninja after having her eldest brother, Hideki (18). Her father was also a retired Jounin who retired after her twin brothers, (Isao and Kazuo, 16). Her brothers all became ninja, but the only reason she really wanted to become one was to be able to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Both her parents had been the first ninjas in each of their families.
Aimi started the academy at the age of seven. Her brother, Takeo (who was eight at the time), was already going to school, so he took her every day. They were the closest to each other in age, so they often talked together. He wouldn’t let her slack off in her training and in her reading, so he would make her do it while he did his. They would often spar together, too, although her older brothers would often get onto him for being so ‘rough’ with the ‘baby girl. It only encouraged her to do better and become a better ninja. Because of her older, cute brothers, Aimi often got used in order for the other females to meet her brothers. This all but destroyed her confidence of people unless she knew them. It caused her to be distrustful at first, or, as how people see it, ‘cold but shy’.
At about ten years old, she quit deciding to make friends with her peers. She decided that she would care and open up to them again more when she graduated and was placed on a team. So, while she worked hard for that, she became closer and closer with her mother. She taught her simple things to do out on missions to ensure that she got the most comfort and the best safety out of every situation that she would find herself in. She learned how to cook what little things out in the desert, and how to reign in her chakra control. Yet, despite that, she only ever excelled in academics and was placed somewhere in the middle of the class when considering her Ninjutsu wasn’t up to par with most people.
RP Sample: Aimi coughed awkwardly, rubbing her hand up and down her arm. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to be with her team, she did, but she didn’t expect for it to be this awkward. Honest, these people were her peers. They had been since they had started the academy, but she just felt…so awkward. It wasn’t like she interacted with them much. She must have had a conversation with one of them at some point, but it clearly wasn’t memorable enough. If it had been, then it would have given her something to talk about so it wouldn’t be this uncomfortable for them. She kept thinking about a way to be able to initiate a conversation while they waited for their sensei. Most of the other teams were already talking.
She opened her mouth again to be able to say something, but, when they both looked her way, she only shut her mouth again and wondered if this was what it felt like to be on the other side of someone talking to her. Aimi had certainly told people plenty of times to go away and leave her alone, particularly her brother’s fangirls. She never quite experienced fear quite like that. She was pretty, sure, but she didn’t have much working for her. Apparently, things were different for girls than they were for boys, thank Kami. If she had to spend most of her days avoiding rabid mobs of girls and training, she wasn’t sure that she would be able to live in the village anymore.
She honestly wondered if the same things happened in other villages. It was a funny thought, and she almost giggled, but then she remembered that she was in public. That would have been so embarrassing. Not only that, but she was sure that people would start to say that she was insane, too. Then, they would start suggesting –quietly, of course, because no one dared to say it out loud where he had a chance of hearing – that she hang out with the other psycho around their age. Aimi had never, personally, said anything to Gaara, but she wasn’t about to start talking or hanging anywhere near him anytime soon. He was likely to kill her as he was anyone else. She had made herself a social recluse when they had both been young, and her parents forbade her from talking to him when she was young.
“Sensei sure is taking a while, don’t you think?” Aimi asked suddenly, looking up at her teammates. They both gave her a sort of look before looking away and going back to what they had been doing.
Yup, it was still awkward.
Notes: I really, really suck at applications. XD
