It was hot and dusty as the wind picked up and swirled around his head with a fine dusting of sand mixed in. It scratched against his mask making tiny scratches in the paint that were just barely visible from close up. The sun beat down from on high as it was nearing noon time and the heat came off the sand in hot uncomfortable waves. Haku frowned within his mask and prayed for rain or snow to over take him in the heat, if he wanted to waste a ton of energy he probably could make it snow if he wanted. But what good would that do him except broadcast his position to any hunting ninja in the area.
He knew full well that he was on at least some villages want lists for his relationship with the Mist Missing nin Zabuza, he wasn't sure if Suna happened to be one of them but he really didn't want to take his chances here.He needed to find his quarry and had been sent to take a servery under the guise of an official mission to assassinate someone who was hiding in suna. Haku stood 5 feet tal in his wooden sandals which slipped and slid along the shifting sands. He had to use up charaka just to walk up right carefully sticking to the sand as he glided a crossed the sand. His shoes didn't provide him a good deal of traction or the ability to stop quickly without falling on his butt.
But he was so hot it was getting ridiculous, his clothes were most definitely not suited to this area. what with the several thick layered and then his coat and scarf for a belt he was burning. the only comfort he thought as he slipped his hands inside his jacket sleeves to keep from getting a sun burn on top of heat stroke was his face was protected and cool in his mask. Haku hoped he wouldn't have any trouble getting in he was dressed as a mist hunter and the mist was relatively neutral as far as he could tell. "please may i come in, sir it is very hot and perhaps get a drink or a place to stay. I'm here on personal business please." Haku spoke in a slightly rougher version of his normal voice trying to make it sound like a male was behind the mask when his voice was soft and feminine it was better for his disguise that way if they thought his two aliases were different people.
