When Naruto went to bed last night, he had been in a very bad mood. Not even beating up on the Kakashi dummy he'd made had helped. And he had kicked that thing's ass good. So far his morning wasn't going any better. The late night planning on how he would beat the hell out of the jounin had only served to make him extra hungry. Yet, he couldn't eat because Kakashi-sensei said not to. Going about his morning ritual, he noticed that his ramen supply was empty. Even if he did want to eat, he couldn't and that only fueled his foul mood.
He made sure to throw the spoiled milk that had cost him a kiss with Sakura-chan in the trash without mercy and much more force than necessary. Naruto also slammed the door on the way out, but neither of those had helped much. The boy refused to admit that he was nervous. To admit that he was downright terrified by the odds of the oncoming test. He had to pass. Kick Kakashi-sensei's ass, maybe kick Sasuke's ass too, then swoop Sakura-chan off her feet so that she'd realize her undying love for him. Prove to everyone his strength so that they couldn't deny him the title of Hokage!
He had to pass this test. So he followed all the rules. "Bring all his shinobi tools." The boy took a moment to pat himself down. Not one left behind, all of them sharpened. "Don't eat." Done! If a little grudgingly. "Don't be late." Naruto let out a little laugh. He had woken up bright and early. The training grounds weren't even far and he was already on his way with plenty of time to spare. Joke would be on them if they were late! (If he only knew the habits of the man that was their sensei) The sixty-six percent failure rate or whatever could kiss his ass! With the Kage Bunshin, he was as good as invincible!
Naruto did his best to ignore the tortured grumble his stomach gave off. "Don't eat, you'll just throw up," he spoke doing his best to perform a imitation that copied and mocked the one-eyed man. Maybe he could stop in a Ichiraku...he had enough time. No! No. He had to stand strong. What if he beat Kakashi's test and he called him on it? Then it would be back to the academy and Naruto was not going back unless they tied him up and dragged him there. Then he put up as much fight as he could just to spite their efforts. But he wasn't going to fail. No matter how delicious Ichiraku's was...how they had the best miso ramen around...the mouthwatering noodles...the perfect broth...the sheer flavor they packed into one extra large bowl a thousand times too strong...
"Bad thoughts bad thoughts!" This was not the train of thought he should be going on. A low, pathetic grumble from his stomach chose to agree with him. He'd gone too far to lose to a stinking technicality. Besides, he was already getting close to the training ground so it'd be pointless to turn back now. He didn't want to push the time either so he continued onwards. This was nothing. A Hokage could deal with one skipped meal no problem. It'd be cake...or pie...or..."Arg,why am I doing this to myself!?" On the inside he cried tears of weakness, but on the outside he patted himself down. He was close to the training ground and needed to look ready.
A slight skip entered his step. Then he started bouncing, dodging around a couple of trees. Next came a few punches as he imagined a certain one-eyed face in front of him instead of a lingering branch. Not even the hefty pack on his shoulders dragged him down. With a quick flick of the thumb across his nose, he was ready for full out war. Naruto strolled on into that training ground like he owned it. Radiating confidence, power, and determination. His eyes were squinted slightly and his arms crossed in front of his chest as he spoke out. "Alright, lets do this! Dattebayo!" Then he waited for their reactions.
...
...
And waited...
Then a peek from squinted eyes revealed he was the only person in the area. What. The. FUCK!? Where was everyone? He glanced to and fro to make sure, but there wasn't anyone around him. Just three dumb logs to his left. Naruto was hungry. He was annoyed. Most of all, he did not feel like waiting! Not after he followed everything to a frickin' T. Oh, he was going to make Kakashi-sensei hurt so bad, the man's parents would cringe. Naruto even hoped that Sasuke would get in the way so he could stop the quiet boy's ass into the ground. No, he wasn't just pissed at him for stealing the first kiss that was suppose to go to Sakura-chan! It only added oil to the fire. So he dropped his pack on the ground and sat on it. Imagining the ways he beat the tar out of them, make them bow down to his greatness, and apologies with offerings of ramen!
...
Man, ramen sounded good right now...

Yesterday was certainly eventful and it was also a victory. Luckily Sakura turned up on time for class with Iruka Sensei, and as usual Naruto was being a pain, Ino was being a pig and her dream man Sasuke simply looked gorgeous. Victory however was hers after learning that she was to be partnered with Sasuke in the very same group, however there was a let down as Iruka Sensei also announced that Naruto had be assigned to her group. Oh well at least she be beside Sasuke unlike Ino pig who was teaming with Shikamaru and Choji, currently it was Sakura one and Ino nothing.
As the others left the classroom she had to remain behind with Sasuke and Naruto to await the arrival of a figure that would become their teacher, of course Naruto was getting restless and even planned to prank their new mentor. All though Sakura simply knew that Naruto should do that, the otherself thrived on things like pranks and fight.
As the door slowly opened, the eraser surprisingly hit its target. But Sakura was surprised after finding out that their new Sensei was actually the white haired man who fought against a young boy. He was a Jonin alright but Naruto's prank had worked, Sakura even apologised to the Jonin mentor, but inner Sakura approved of it, despite what had happened this white haired man gave his first impression of his group and his results where that they were all losers.
She was quite surprised and a little disappointed by the first words from their new mentor. However he needed to know who everyone was, so Sakura was more then happy to headed outside be with her new team mates and tell the white haired man her name. The teacher started off and simply mentioned his name, which was called Kakashi Hatake, but there was something quite strange about his introduction, he didn’t mention anything else about himself. Oh well at least Sakura knew his name, next it was Naruto who practically spelled out his love for ramen and all the different kinds, but he was quite confident in his dream to become the greatest Hokage in history. It was a pretty strong dream but how he if he was stupid and care free? Next it was Sakura’s turn and once again she was more then happy to mention her name, surname and of course her hobbies and dreams was always to be Sasuke’s girlfriend and to marry him.
Finally it was Sasuke’s turn. At first he seemed pretty quiet however he suddenly looked pretty serious and announced that he was going to destroy a certain someone. Of course as ever he sounded cool and Sakura loved him very much, of course what was to come was a shock. Kakashi Sensei announced that they would all go on an actual mission together. It sounded like it was going to be a breeze, but to Sakura’s horror it was going to be a survival exercise which they had already done, however Kakashi looked pretty serious and was even told to come really early in the morning, and skip breakfast. Sakura even decided to go on a diet and decided to skip dinner and breakfast.
With the designated time approaching Sakura prepared herself as her red qipao dress moved slightly as she walked towards her destination. The chances of passing the test was pretty low but she was more then ready and prove to Sasuke that she loved him, waking into the training ground Sakura looked around and didn’t see her future husband anywhere. But Naruto was waiting, with grit of her teeth she braved the elements and walked over towards her teammate and decided to talk to him while waiting for Sasuke and Kakashi Sensei. “Uh hey Naruto! Have you seen Sasuke?”

''...''
Packing up his usual ninja equipments, Sasuke'd give a last glance toward his clan's symbol which would be found on the door before heading out. The boy had a really important assignment today as it would be his first real ninja ''Genin Training'' , though the thought of his chosen partners would actually ruin this supposingly good mood that he should have. Being with the worst two student in the academy just doesn't fit it with him... Of course Sakura Haruno is intellegent though she is always so annoying around him... And his supossed sensei... That white haired masked adult... Now who was that again? Sasuke wouldn't be all confident about his skills as he would wonder from time to time... Is he really a Jounin? Sure earning the rank means a great deal , though to fall for a plain traps of Naruto... Yes Naruto , now talking about that idiot. He is absolutely the worst of all! The number one idiot knuckle head ninja of the entire village. Naruto Uzumaki... Always showing off and giving great speeches about how he wants to become Hokage... Seriously but that just take Sasuke's good mood away. For he carries a far greater mission upon his shoulder since a young age... And that is also why he is the top rookie ninja of the village. Because the road of vengeance has set up a goal that he must attain no matter what...
While narrowing through his head , Sasuke'd jump on top of the village building's roofs. One by one he would pass by as his soft black yet gentle melancholic hair would fly pass like field of grins. After a few minute , he would arrive upon destination as he would spot his two supposed team mates which are actually idiots to him. Jumping off the last roof , Sasuke'd decide to appear upon the ground as he would land and put his hands in his short's pocket , then walk toward the two without giving any signs nor notices like if they were inferior and nothingness to him. Though , his eyes would stroll upon Naruto just to give a small yet humiliating grin upon his lips to show his idiocy , while completely leaving Sakura in the corner.

Naruto started to slouch soon after sitting. The boy's rage had yet to fully subside, but the thoughts of never ending bowls of miso ramen calmed him. At the cost of making his stomach roar once more in dissatisfaction. The slightest bit of drool began to escape his mouth when a familiar voice caught his attention. The boy's back snapped into a straighter position and he swirled around to wave at his crush. Then suddenly stopped to wipe the lingering drool before she noticed. He played dropped his hand and let out a huff of disappointment when she mentioned Sasuke. However, he was quick to rebound with a smile. "Hey Sakura-chan," he spoke excitedly.
He planned to try and dismiss the dark haired boy from her thoughts, but that was quickly derailed when the said boy came into his view. Naruto had to restrain the urge to growl at the lost chance. Only his eyebrow twitching was any sign of the ire that suddenly welled up within him. It would have been awesome to spend a bit of time alone with Sakura-chan. But no~ Her beloved 'Sasuke-kun' had to appear like a bad aggravating itch that you didn't scratch right the first time. "Yeah," the boy all but grumbled, "look behind you," he finished as he plopped back on the bag he was sitting on. Only to hit a pointy corner of something he'd packed. Wasn't there anything that did not want to piss him off today?
Naruto offered a halfhearted wave to the Uchiha. The guy was still giving off this creepy vibe to Naruto though. He couldn't help but remember the words Sasuke said yesterday. 'To kill a certain man.' The heck was that supposed to mean? He tried to dismiss it before he shivered. Naruto's pride refused to be afraid of that prick because of tough words. However, any traces of fear fled when Sasuke gave him that mocking smirk of his. Oh, he was just asking for it! "If you wanna say something say it! But don't you look down on me!" Naruto shouted fiercely while jumping off his pack. The orange clad genin even pointed a shaking finger at the other boy for emphasis. He was going to grind this cocky bastard into dust!

Just seeing Naruto there always made Sakura feel a bit angry because after all he was a knucklehead. Yet despite his annoying personality he was now her teammate, luckily the love of her life was also her teammate, which made things even better. Sakura admired and really loved Sasuke despite his quiet nature, and as for Naruto well lets just say that he was the big thorn in her side. But there was nothing that could be done about it, as they were now part of a three-man team. However a question filled her mind and wondered why all qualified Genin was assigned like she was, well all she could do was wait and see what Kakashi Sensei had to say.
But first she and the others had to do some sort of survival test. And the odds didn’t look good according to Kakashi, yet Naruto and her future husband Sasuke looked pretty confident. So hopefully things will go quite well, still Sasuke didn’t arrive yet, which left her in the company of Naruto. Sakura watched as Naruto gave her a goofy grin and simply told her that Sasuke was just behind her, with a bright smile on her young face Sakura turned around and saw him walk over towards them. As excitement began to boil up in her mind, her eyes glittered with love for Sasuke as he approached them, and as he arrived she spoke to Sasuke. “Hi Sasuke! I’m glad you could make it” Sakura said with a grin.
And once again Naruto revealed his rather annoying side as he revealed his over confidence towards Sasuke. He had only just arrived in the training ground and already he challenged Sasuke’s cool attitude. Deep down the inner Sakura urged Sasuke on to shut Naruto up, quietly her eyes locked onto her teammates and wondered what the next move was going to be. Still just to change the subject Sakura spoke out. “At least everyone is here now, but where’s Kakashi Sensei?” She said while looking around for her new mentor.

In truth, as seemingly annoying as it was, Team 7's Jounin teacher being absent could end up as a good thing. When entering an unfamiliar environment, one of the most troubling and potentially deadly problems a shinobi has to face is just that – the lack of familiarity with the environment. While the three newly graduated Genin had grown up in Konohagakure, and as such were well aware of the surrounding area and where one could train, Kakashi must have chosen this particular location for a reason. Sasuke could only deduce that this reason involved his own familiarity with the area, and as such, the young Uchiha boy knew he couldn't underestimate the importance of observation and attentiveness in this particular situation. He would treat the area as if he had never been there previously, rather than assume he knew where he was going. Allowing his dark, onyx eyes to dart from one point to another, he immediately began taking note of where the best places to do such things as hide, set traps, and elude a pursuing enemy might be.
”If you wanna say something say it! But don't you look down on me!”
Well, Sasuke retracted his previous thought as he heard the Uzumaki boy's angry words. Perhaps not all of them were familiar with the area from previous training. Turning his head in Naruto's direction, Sasuke gazed at him with a look that spoke less of disgust or anger, and more of a cold indifference. What did he care what Naruto thought of him? Sasuke honestly felt no need to send a retort back at the boy, as he couldn't afford to let himself be rattled by getting into a discussion with his dead-last teammate. As much as the young Genin was confident in his own abilities, he could not say that he was not apprehensive about the thought that he may be sent directly back to the Academy, rather than moving on with his career as a shinobi. How could he possibly live up to and best that man if he could not even officially graduate from the Academy? It infuriated him that there was one more hurdle that he was being forced to dodge, and yet at the same time, he supposed there was nothing he could do but impress their Jounin sensei with what skills he had.
Speaking of that man, he hadn't seemed to be the prototypical Jounin – at least from what they had seen of him. Sasuke supposed anyone could have an off-day, after all, he had had one himself the other day when he and Naruto had...
He immediately resolved to store that memory deep, deep within the repressed confines of his most isolated unconsciousness, and continued with his thought. Although he could accept the fact that the man had not been expecting such a childish prank from someone who had just gone through one of the most important moments of their lives, and graduated from the Academy, one might assume that a Jounin would be able to handle such a situation without looking absolutely inept. Still, Sasuke could not afford to let himself get overconfident. He had to pass this test, not only for himself, but for the blood of the Uchiha as well. For that, he would dismantle anyone who stands in his way.
“Hi Sasuke! I’m glad you could make it”
Glancing at the girl, Sakura Haruno, Sasuke thought about how much he did not want to be around her when he was trying to deal with such a serious issue. It wasn't that he had anything against the girl (although her comment about family and Naruto's situation had made her seem all the more annoying), but rather it was the fact that she didn't seem willing to leave well enough alone. Though she was smart, her interest in him seemed to make her unfortunately dim-witted at times, and often clouded her mind. That was something they simply could not afford, if they were going into this as Team 7.
That was right.
Although he had previously stated that any who got in his way would be destroyed, he had to remind himself that technically they were now all on the same team. If they were to work together properly, then they would need to not only be civil, but also to have a certain amount of chemistry. Glancing to the side at Naruto, Sasuke doubted very highly they would be able to establish any sort of connection or chemistry before this test was set to begin. However, Sakura already hung on to every word he said. While she may be annoying at times, having an annoying yet loyal teammate was always better than having a teammate that was likely to get you killed. Perhaps one day, Naruto would understand how much of an imbecile he acts like. However, today was not that day, and what Sasuke needed now more than anything was a teammate that wouldn't decrease his likelihood of passing this exam. Therefore, he decided to at least be somewhat polite with the girl, to make sure she was firmly on his side. At her greeting, he nodded his head to her, to at least acknowledge the fact that she had said something and give her a greeting of his own.
At Sakura's question regarding their hopefully soon-to-be mentor, Sasuke couldn't help but agree with the unspoken sentiment that he should probably have already arrived, rather than leaving them standing at the training grounds and waiting for him. Although he had no desire to help those that couldn't stand for themselves, once more, they were now a team. As such, Sasuke decided to voice his own opinion on the situation.
”Whether he's watching us or not, it's important that we impress him. Don't embarrass us.” He said, glancing over to Naruto and directing that last comment to him. The last thing Sasuke needed was for them to all fail this test because the Jounin deemed them as too unprofessional to graduate, due to Naruto's typically obnoxious personality.

Naruto's arm quivered in the air for a moment longer. Then, the intensity of his shaking ceased and his finger drooped slightly due to being promptly ignored. Not by just Sasuke, either. The other boy seemed content to provoke him just for fun as if he took some sick pleasure at getting Naruto's attention only to pay him no mind afterward. Even the wonderful emerald orbs of his Sakura-chan pointedly avoided looking at him for the most part. Finally, his arm went limp and fell back to his side.
The blond haired boy took a deep breath to calm himself and deflated. He was still way too hungry to bother with the Uchiha, despite how the hunger only intensified his anger. Besides, all that anger would have an outlet soon. Then Naruto would relish in the way everyone would be at a loss for words. His plans to defeat their one-eyed sensei were full proof after all. He'd tested them thoroughly. His stomach twitched slightly at being reminded it was empty again, but thankfully didn't protest.
He let out another sigh as he fell back on his pack, this time careful to avoid the pointy whatever that sneak attacked him last time. The sound was louder than the last breath and louder than necessary. Naruto hoped it irked them. It'd serve them both right for ignoring him. Their future Hokage was standing right here in front of them, willing to recognize a young lady worthy of his affection and a brooding bastard that could serve as a rival if the stick was surgically removed from his butt. Yet, they just gave him funny looks that he couldn't figure out (all he knew was that they were certainly not the looks of respect like they should have been).
The genin wanted to save his energy, but he was just so uncomfortable and restless. They needed to get this thing up and running. The sooner they did the sooner he'd become a genin. Then that would be the first sure step to Hokage. With a low drawn out groan of boredom he slid down and off his pack onto the ground pitifully. Why the hell was their sensei late? Sasuke suddenly spoke up and the sentence rattled around in his head before finally registering after a few moments. Their sensei might be watching them? Naruto suddenly sprung up onto his feet in high alert.
The blond genin crouched slightly and squinted his eyes as he whipped his head from side to side. It was a wonder the boy didn't give himself whiplash. Then the skepticism kicked in. Why would the man be watching them? Naruto grunted and stood. "Right...How's this for an impression?" Naruto then suddenly took a deep breath and acted before any of them could get a moment to prepare themselves. The Uchiha wanted to see embarrassing? Naruto could show him embarrassing. "IF YOU'RE WATCHING I GOT SOMETHING TO SHOW YA~" He shouted out into the treeline.
Then the boy promptly faced away from it and bent over to shake his butt in that direction. "THIS IS MY ASS! AND YOU CAN'T KICK IT BECAUSE YOU SUCK!" The purpose of that? Not even Naruto knew. However, it made him feel much better. Then there was the added bonus that it'd annoy the Uchiha. So the boy stood, looking proud of himself and gave the dark haired boy a mocking shit eating grin. "That's not embarrassing right?" It wasn't as bad as it could have been...Naruto could have pulled down his pants too. But the taunt would have to be enough like it was.
