Shinzo laid back in a tree as he waited for his new teammates to arrive. his blood was pumping as he was wondering what his team was going to be like. He was hopping for a team that would complement his taijutsu well and hope to give them the the support they needed as well.
Shinzo wasn't sure what to expect from his team maybe they'll have some sort of blood line or maybe some mastery of genjutsu. Shinzo got even more excited as he though who there sensai might be, maybe he'll have the Raikage or even Killer Bee Shinzo blood boiled at the thought of have such powerful Ninja's as his teacher. Shinzo then thought about what moves he'll learn from them. "Maybe they teach me the Leriot or even better the Raikage's Famous Ligar bomb" said Shinzo as he imitated the moves himself.Shinzo then kept intimating moves used by the Raikage and Killer Bee not think about the fact that someone could be watching

Kenta was walking down the road to meet his team. Many thoughts rushed through his head. Were they nice, would he have to spend his time as a genin with a bunch of rude morons? Hopefully that wasn't the case. Well, whoever they are, they are. There isn't changing anything. What Kenta was looking forward to was the thought of going on missions outside of the village. He could show to the world how he was a ninja of the hidden cloud village.
When he started his walk to meet his teammates, Kenta was originally anxious and nervous of the upcoming meeting. As he was walking, however, a calm started over him. His teammates must be competent enough. They passed all the things he did, and if he may say so, he's not too bad in the field of being a ninja. A small smirk made its way onto Kenta's face as he continued his walk to the designated spot.
Thoughts of his new teammates jutsu filtered into his mind. What if they were some genin prodegy, what if they were amazing and their sensei was even amazed. Their sensei! Kenta totally haven't even thought about it. What if he's really strict or hard on them. He didn't really care if they learned about jutsu or being a true ninja. Kenta realized he was really in thought because he ran into a person. They both fell down to the ground.
"I'm so sorry!" Kenta said as he immediately got back up. The man he had bumped into was a few years older with two friends behind him. Kenta didn't think the man looked like the type of person to forgive and forget.
"Wow! What's your problem? Me and my friends were just trying to enjoy the day until you came along. Well, you know what that means guys." The man said as a smirk slipped onto all of the boys' faces. The two in the back cracked their knuckles while the first was getting ready to grab Kenta.
Kenta was a smart boy so he figured these were a bunch of easily fooled meat heads. "Well, if you're going to do something to me you better fix your sandal." Kenta said to the first boy very calmly. As expected the boy looked down to check. That's when lifted up his right foot bringing down the heel on his head. As the boy was falling Kenta leaped off of his back with his other foot, pushing him into the ground. He flew between the two boys in the back and as he passed gave them a thumbs up.
Kenta bolted as fast as he could the second he landed. The two boys looked confused but then started chasing him, leaving their friend behind. Seeing as how he didn't want to deal with the boy's, he gave them the slip and headed to the meeting spot at a dead sprint. He figured the more distance, the better. Kenta arrived at the tree at which they were supposed to meet. Since he was the first one there, he sat down at the base of the tree and tried to catch his breath.

Ikazuchi Musha, heir to the Musha Clan, had received a letter stating that he was supposed to meet at a certain location for team purposes. Ika wasn't much of a team player, preferring to be a lone wolf when it comes to fighting and such since that's how he was trained. He was also confused, he was a Chūnin, so why was he on a team with Genin? Despite this, he got suited and booted for battle. He probably didn't need to but this seemed like a serious meeting so he would come as his serious self even though he really didn't want to. He wanted to stay home and sleep.
After running and jumping all through Kumogakure, Ika finally found the meeting place. From his perch atop a tall pole, he saw two people, one on each side of the tree. They both looked like they didn't notice each other. One was practicing taijutsu or so Ika assumed and the other was sitting under the tree, resting. Ika spent a few more moments analyzing them. The fighter he recognized, Shinzo Katetsu. So they would be on the same team. The other one he didn't recognize.
Hmm...
Jumping down from the pole, he landed in a crouch, palms on the ground to absorb the force of landing and use it to push him back up. His position would be to the side of both of them, not directly next to them but should Kenta look left and Shinzo right, then they would be able to see him. He was about ten meters from the tree itself. He stood casually, arms loosely by his sides and wearing his fighting gear.
This gear consisted of a customized Kumogakure single-strap white flak jacket. Customized because it had a shoulder guard covering the left shoulder where the strap is. Along with this gear were white fingerless gloves, a pair of white shorts with a black sash around his waist and then special issue ninja sandals with armor-like padding attached to them that reach up his legs to his knees, kind of like boots.
On his back was a ninjato with its hilt sticking up over his right shoulder. A Fuma Shuriken was folded up and and stored in a sheath on his lower back, accessible from the left side. Adding more to this, he had two round black pouches attached to his sash in the back. These carried his shuriken and kunai. To top it all off, literally, he had his black forehead protector on, bearing the Symbol of Kumogakure on the metal plate.
With his black hair tied back in a ponytail and a grim expression on, he simply waited. They could approach him if they wished. He was only there upon request and was curious as to who their sensei would be. Though Ika didn't really need one, he had learned all the basics from the Academy and then from his father and uncles. Though what he could probably learn from this would be teamwork, since he is lacking in that.

He'd been drenched by rain and laden with mud. The jounin marched on as he was scorched by sun out of battle and fire in combat. And yet, he lived to see this day. A day where he would finally take up genin of his own. Makoto wasn't quite sure if he should praise his skill or luck, perhaps he should thank both. However, he hated luck. So he merely spited it anyway. There was only chance and numbers that yielded odds. To see only the undesirables of his past would only mean growing more and more miserable as the days dragged on in a slow pace of torment. Makoto wasn't a man that desperately latched on to life as if he had some higher purpose. He just liked living. Growing.
There would be a day where he died, but it was not now. He accepted death but retained the sense not to charge heedlessly toward it even though he lived in danger. Everything withered away given enough time. It was an undeniable fact. Why waste time searching to defy nature when you could use it to improve? Why escape it in the first place? Makoto could only see such as a hollow existence. The jounin did, however, want to leave something behind. A legacy of the sword. A few words of help. Lives that changed for the better. So he'd finally seen fit to take a genin team after failing so many others. With this chance, he could hopefully leave behind accomplished ninja in his wake. Then if heaven, hell, nirvana, or any other type of afterlife existed, there would be no regrets from him.
In addition, he couldn't deny the excitement of taking on a new experiment. Fresh test subjects, specimens for him to shape like clay. Would he be able to create something beautiful? Would he succeed? Even he had doubts. There was a chance they'd break under an inexperienced hand. That would leave the fault with him. There was a chance that they were poor materials, unable to bend or too brittle. That would be fault in them. Makoto could most likely work around both, but he'd need to be careful and slow in his work. Pay attention to details without coddling them. Perhaps he could even allow them to break and then simply put them back together. So many options. This was what Makoto went over and over in his mind. Always falling back to those thoughts and looking at them from different views.
The distance from his home to the meeting area had been traveled leisurely, allowing any stragglers that may be on his team time to get there. I also gave him ample amount of time for thinking, yet the trek already seemed over. That was a shame, Makoto had just began thoughts on how much mental stress he could put them under without having them break based on statistics. It would have to wait. Mismatched eyes gazed upon the three assembled from beneath the hood of his cloak. The simple, yet durable cloth hid his face in a shadows. The jounin placed two of the three instantly even at the distance. There was a bit of disappointment at the chunin that he quickly placated. So much for new materials. He'd let that fact slip his mind, having seen it in their profiles. His team's dynamic was most likely already disrupted. This equation would be a difficult one to solve.
Luckily, those were the most fun.
Makoto made his way to them, unconcerned with the flashy entry some jounin chose in order to draw awe. It was a relaxed walk, an unnatural walk, if one could even call it that. It was more like the jounin glided across the ground with the way he moved and the illusion his cloak gave. As he approached, he pulled the hood from his head letting his blond hair catch the sun. Then he slipped his hands in the opposite sleeves, once more hiding them from view. No reason to scare them. Finally reaching them, he let the silence linger as he fixed each of them with a calculating stare. One at a time he moved from them, measuring them on a scale of skill level. Makoto's face didn't reveal anything. In his eyes there was a faint bit of interest, but the sheer weight they gave off hid it.
Three variables within an unknown equation. If he had to give them a number it would be zero. Not because of the meaning most think though. They were neither negative nor positive at this point. While he did hold some knowledge, it was only the most basic. They could be hiding things. The academy may not have pushed them enough for more to be shown. Most importantly, each of them were a void for which anything could begin. Empty, vast, infinite, and complex so long as Makoto added himself to the equation. All he could see is potential. Finally, the jounin spoke up. His voice soft and polite, but strong enough to demand attention and holding traces of a bored monotone.
"Please come have a seat," he said gesturing to the open area in front of him. "Tell everyone a little about yourselves." He took a seat himself, sitting seiza style, and calmly waited for them. They hadn't seemed to be interacting before so he'd start off simple. Teamwork would be important in the future anyway and while he didn't expect it right away easing any tension wouldn't hurt. Maybe after that he'd start putting them through tests.

Shinzo bounced around from branch to branch as he was lost in his fantasy of him and his team complete missions and learning new move that he didn't notice anyone was there until he heard that man speak. Shinzo turn and noticed the the man standing there and smiled he recognized him.
Shinzo Jumped out of the tree as he remembered the name was the same person who had him climb that cliff a while back and he was happy to see him again. As Shinzo landed he notice two other people around him one person he didn't know and the other he was Ikazuchi a person he fought a while back. It those people were his teammate then he was going to have a great time.
Shinzo then sat down as the man asked as the spoke," my name is Shinzo Katetsu Cloud's Thunderous Roar" He said As the clouds seem to roar when he said it. "I to train and fight strong opponents and I hope to become a great ninja that would make my parents proud of me" He said For the first time actually speaking word instead of phrases. At the mention of his Parents Shinzo seem to frown a little and grow silent as he wait for his teammate to speak.

Kenta sat under the tree awaiting the arrival of his teammates. He was very excited. Then, he saw movement in his peripheral vision. A figure appeared and it seemed older or possibly just stronger. Anyway, it must be one of his teammates. His assumptions could be completely off base but the person didn't seem like the most friendly of people. He was ready to address the man when he heard rustling.
He looked up and saw another person. How had Kenta missed him? He was, self labeled, a very smart and intuitive person, how had he not noticed a person above him? Well, to introduce himself. "Well please sit down. Tell us a little about yourselves." A voice said breaking his train of thought.
"Man! Everybody is just suddenly here." he said to himself. The person in the tree leaped down and introduced himself. Shinzo was his name, and he seem quite proud in his abilities. After the mention of his parents he seemed dismayed, sad even. Could it be that another person can understand the crippling pain of losing a parent and that person is on his team? Kenta decided to follow suit and walked to join his sensei and this Shinzo. He sat down with the two ninja.
"My name is Kenta Haruki. My nature manipulation is fire but i like genjutsu. I'm what you might call smart and like working with people. I have a sister and mother whom I love with all of my heart. My dad was killed when i was younger but I've come to terms with that." Kenta finished his introduction awaiting a response of any kind even if it's moving onto another subject.

A man had arrived, drawing all of their attention. He looked young, blonde hair and hands in the opposite sleeves of his robe or whatever it was he wore. In moments, Shinzo had launched out of the tree and landed in front of the mystery man, giving his name a little about himself. It was meager information but enough to satisfy it seems. The next guy moved to join the others, introducing himself as Kenta Haruki. Ika never heard of him so he didn't have much to fear but he wouldn't lower his guard to an unknown nobody. After Kenta gave a little about himself, more than Shinzo did, Ika figured it was his turn.
Sigh, lets get this over with.
Ika walked over to the group and also sat in the seiza style as he was taught by his father to do in formal situations such as this. Hands on his knees and back somewhat straight, he gazed ahead casually, taking a moment to think over his stuff. He'd most certainly have to give a name, who he is, probably the areas where he is best skilled at and add something to keep it friendly. Inhaling, he prepared himself and spoke in a neutral tone.
"I am Ikazuchi Musha, heir apparent to the Musha Clan of Kumogakure. I am a competent ninja, proficient in lightning ninjutsu and kenjutsu with some knowledge of taijutsu. I have already passed the Chūnin Exams, so I have to wonder why I am on a team with Genin." His expression lightened and he turned his head to give a closed-eye, closed-lip smile to the other two. "I hope we have fun together." In his mind he wasn't serious but he had to put on the act he was so he didn't intimidate the two younglings. After all that, he turned back to face the Jōnin, facial expression once again neutral.

Each of them had been within their own little worlds, unconcerned of their surroundings. Only the chunin boy held the faintest semblance of awareness. It seems that the lessons at the academy were slacking severely. The notion of starting from scratch became all the more appealing. Break them down to nothing and build them anew with what bits and pieces were left. However, that would take away from the traces of unique personality they each already held within them. No one could be a master of everything anyway. To turn oneself into a well rounded ninja that could fit anywhere would also have the undesired effect of taking away any standout strength. If that happened, one would only become a last pick for specific situations where specialization within a certain field was needed. Not letting any emotion revealing his thoughts slip, Makoto closed his eyes and listened to each of them in turn.
The jounin remembered Shinzo well. Loud, simple, and a direct just as the words the boy used to describe himself claimed. He was pleasantly informed during the statement that the boy could speak without butchering a statement. Why the boy chose to apply animals' likeness to every situation, Makoto didn't know. However, for the boy to not get killed on his first real mission Makoto would have to find a way for him to channel it in a different way. He didn't feel like separating it entirely from him would be as helpful as it would be destructive. But in the end, it gave away every move he was going to make before he even made it. Multiplied with the fact that the boy was already very predictable to begin with didn't bode well for him.
Next was the only one that Makoto hadn't already found himself acquainted with. Kenta Haruki seemed relaxed, but unsure of himself with the way he spoke. Perhaps he was just humble and aware of some of his weaknesses, but if he thought he was smart then he must have made decent grades at the academy. Mature as well if the boy was able to bring up a death in the family like it was nothing. Overall, the boy appeared level headed when not under pressure. A good sign in a ninja that had no experience yet. How he held himself together was yet to be seen, but time would reveal that eventually. What really drew Makoto's attention though was his interest in genjutsu. Not many boys his age shared that. Many often preferred the flashier appeal and direct damage ninjutsu offered. The chosen area also pointed to decent chakra control.
And last was the quiet and distant chunnin that completed this team. The heir to a clan, bring with him that clan's highly desired techniques and possibly the less than desired pride. The respect and formality Makoto could deal with, the foolish honor and narrow views were the things the jounin could do without. Ikazuchi Musha could have been a orphan for all Makoto cared. Bloodlines made no difference to him. Already, the man felt he may be hearing from a interested and displeased family regarding the chunin's position. Chances are they would see it as a demotion and insult. Hopefully, the Musha would be more open minded than others Makoto had the pleasure of running into. As for the boy himself, Makoto could safely reason that the most likely reason he was here was because of his demeanor. While chunin in skill, even his words pointed that he wasn't much for teamwork.
After filing the information away and comparing it to what he already gathered from their reports, Makoto sighed. It sounded bored and unimpressed, but it was only a front. In all actuality he didn't know how to approach each of them. Makoto did not frequently deal with children. He had never been a jounin-sensei. His first sensei had given him a genin test. Having been apprenticed, the man started out harsh and unforgiving. Makoto had to prove himself to even be considered and many times after that before the older ninja and he ended up forming a bond. Makoto's second sensei, having found himself in the exact same position as the Musha heir, had been gentle and toed lightly. However, Ikazuchi was probably not Makoto. He kept himself distanced because he chose to, not for lack of chance.
After having allowed the silence to linger after Ikazuchi's introduction, Makoto allowed it to fade with his words. Following their example, he gave a little about himself. "I am Makoto Kiyoshi. A jounin and your new sensei." And, for now, that was all they needed to know. With his eyes still closed, he continued. "Most jounin often give a test to new graduates, but considering that one of you is a chunin the lesson will more than likely be lost. I find myself interested in teaching nonetheless so I will take my position seriously. Now, begin stretching as we will begin training immediately. Though I will not give the test, I still need to see exactly where you skill levels stand." As he finished, he waved them off. He still needed to drill the concept of teamwork into them anyway. So as they moved through their stretched, he pondered.
A difficult equation indeed.

Shinzo sat a bit confused as the Jonin spoke,he was hoping for a test right off the bat but it would seem that the man had other things in mind for them. Shinzo then thought about what man said,"I still need to see exactly where you skill levels stand." that made Shinzo blood boil with excitement as he knew it meant that he'll get to fight a strong opponent.
Shinzo looked around as his teammates, He knew some what of Ikazuchi could and was willing to goo for round two. Then Shadow looked at Kenta and someone of his own level that he would be to have a even better chance against. The only thing that Shadow had a real problem with was, the word Genjutsu he never really knew what it was far he was concerned if it didn't have anything to do with hitting someone it was no interest to him.
Shinzo stood up and said " Inquisitive Student Seeks Answer To Sensai's Question" he said implying he wanted to know what the His sensai meant by showing off his skills.

Kenta listened as the third person introduced himself. A chuunin, that is quite different. He must have messed up badly to be put back on a team of genin. Honestly, this is probably even a bit degrading. Well, Kenta wasn't one to judge, so he'll just treat him like he would any other teammate of his. Also he is the heir to a clan, possibly with some cool bloodline limit. Oh, the excitement was great. Then he said, "I hope we have fun together." When he said it it sure didn't sound real. It looked like he was smiling for a picture he didn't want to take. Well, if that's his personality, hopefully he can learn to work with it.
That's when his sensei started to speak. A silence overwhelmed him. What was going to happen. Were they going to go and fight each other or some giant boars? Or possibly start with a display of their powers? That wouldn't be the best for Kenta. Genjutsu definitely isn't the flashiest thing in the world and half of his, one of them, is a genjutsu that affects a user over time and they aren't immediate. Well, hopefully he can see the skill with these in real mission applications, Kenta could. Disorienting or stunning your enemy to the point they are so exhausted they collapse or are forced to succumb to your will. In words, Kenta's abilities were pretty sweet, hopefully his teammates thought so.
"Now, begin stretching as we will begin training immediately." So all they'll be doing is demonstrating their powers...great. He'll just have to impress them with what he can demonstrate. Things were about to get toasty. A slight smirk reached its way onto his face as he thought about the toasty remark. As he was told to do, he stood up and started stretching. He crossed his arms and touched his back. He bent to the ground touching his fingertips to them. That's when the other genin, Shinzo, started talking.
"Inquisitive Student Seeks Answer To Sensai's Question" Definitely an odd choice of words. This Shinzo was quite apt at always having something to say. It's not a bad trait at all. He isn't afraid to put himself out there. But what does he mean. There wasn't a question per say said by their new sensei. Kenta continued to stretch, his eyes on the sensei, seeing his response.

So they are supposed to start stretching before a test? Seems easy enough, easy for him and at least he had a reason to do so. Ikazuchi had forgotten to do his morning exercise routine, so his muscles were a bit tight from lazing about at home. From his sitting position, he placed his hands on the ground behind him, pushed while lifting his body up some so he could slide his legs out from under him and then set himself back down. Most stretches can be done while sitting down, so the young prodigy would start there.
To begin this exercise, Ika spread his legs like a V and started stretching, reaching down one leg to reach the tip of his foot, staying for a few moments then moving back to go down the other side. He did that back and forth a couple of times, stretching out his body muscles. After that, he reached over his head and shoulder with one arm and then another behind him down near his waist, to reach up and down to grab each hand, to increase flexibility and loosen the muscles. After doing that a few times, he stood up to do some arm stretches then crouched, placing his arms on his knees. He was now ready.

The jounin had waited for them to settle deeply into their routing before opening his eyes to observe. Mismatched orbs held a empty boredom, yet at the same time, a glint of unbiased sharpened steel. Without any killing intent, Makoto raised one hand into the air as they continued in a peaceful bliss. "Defend yourselves!" His words came out as a roar of thunder and cut through the air like lightning. Makoto's arm blurred downward, the action summoned a blast of focused wind that sped out to catch them while unaware. Untamed in nature, it heeded his direction as he channeled it at them, the might and strength it held was enough to topple rooted trees. Up close the Fūton: Daitoppa [Wind Release: Great Breakthrough] would crash into them without mercy and send them flying.
Makoto had been chosen as their mentor. However, one could compare him to their first enemy as well. The first one they would ever seriously face that was smarter, stronger, and faster. No one but an enemy could show them what the enemy was going to do and force them to anticipate it in battle. No one but the enemy could teach them how to destroy and conquer, opening their eyes to how cruel a loss could be. It was the enemy that stuck at where a man was weak mercilessly. This fight would hold no rules. When the option was life or death all that mattered was what they could do to the enemies and what they could prevent the enemies from doing to them.
These boys needed something to strive against. See the limitations in themselves and push passed them to grow. They should hold no illusions of his loyalties. The jounin would teach them. Through experience they would learn lessons. Though experience was certainly not a kind teacher, it did provide the conditions for them to learn. The choice fell to them if they actually listened. An enemy would not allow them to prepare with stretches. They struck while the targets were unaware. Each of them, even the chunnin, could have died in that instant. The blond jounin had chosen that he could not coddle them if he wanted them to live through this profession. If they were to be ninja blood, sweat, tears, and failures awaited them. It was an inevitable fact. Still, at least the failures could be lessened.
Calmly he rose from his seat, hidden hands already completing handseals. The land was already beginning to twist to his will. With a firm grasp he took hold of the battleground. Slopes shifted under the genjutsu, warping mischievously. Always be aware of the surroundings and how it could be used against you, the jounin tried to convey. He doubted they'd notice though, even the chunnin would be struggling to recover. They could not hide or he'd find them. They couldn't run away or he'd catch them. All the odds were stacked against their favor and failure was the only option if they fought back. This was a time where they'd have to force themselves to run before they had a chance to learn to walk. The question was, would they trip and stumble over each other in doing so?
The Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu [Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique] settle as ominous clouds blocked out the sun. Cloud wasn't unfamiliar with rain, after all. Could they use it to their advantage, Makoto wondered? The jounin knew he could. He stood there, watching for their reactions. Already, he held information on their strengths which they had given to him moments before. Who would be the weakest? No one could cover every vice they held. "Fight back with the intent to kill," he ordered calmly, his voice carrying toward them.

Shinzo waited for his sensai to answer him and was giving an answer that he wasn't expecting.Shinzo was sent flying across area hitting the tree behind him. the blow was hard and Shinzo blacked out for a second and then awoke to find the area had grown darker.Shinzo felt strange as he shook the cob webs from his head."Fight back with the intent to kill," the man said that made Shinzo eyes twinkle with excitement. His blood boil and he was ready to fight, the man was stronger then him and he licked his lips as he was ready to take him down.
Shinzo cracked his neck and knuckles as he took a stance.Shinzo wasn't sure what the man was able to do but it made no difference to Shinzo. Shinzo thought back on how the man tried to teach him how to climb the cliff without the use of chakra and how he failed. This time it was going to be different as he was already laid out a plan and it consist of kicking the man in the face.
"Wolf Calls On Pack(clone Jutsu)" He said charging forward at the man and made three clones of himself. The clone Ran to punch the man and stop inches before his face. "Cheetah Like Speed(Body Flicker)" said Shinzo as he vanished and appeared behind the man swinging his leg trying to kick at the man."Cobra Strikes Ram" Said Shinzo as the kunai tapped to his shoe came out.

Kenta had just finished stretching when his body flew through the air. His left leg hit a tree and he slowed down after tumbling for about thirty yards. The pain was enough to make him black out but he didn't. The pure shock of the situation caught him in such a manner he couldn't do anything but stare into space. When he landed his eyelids became heavy. He heard their sensei say, "Fight back with the intent to kill." That's when he slipped out of consciousness.
When he woke up Shinzo was running at their sensei. He couldn't tell if he was seeing things or if there was three of him. He shook his head, there were only three...good. He started getting up when he felt the pain in his left leg. It was only bruised but any amount of pain is too much for him. He gripped above the wound and clenched his teeth, staring straight up at the sky. That's when he noticed it was darker outside. It was different though, ominous. Genjutsu Kai! The world was back to normal. He was right, their sensei cast a genjutsu sometime inbetween knocking them all back and getting up...scary.
With the world back to how it should be he stood up, trying to bear the pain in his leg. He knew Shinzo couldn't hit their sensei by himself. As he leaned up against a tree to the left of the fight he threw a kunai. It's not much, but it was for later and gave him to to weave a few hand signs. "Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique!" A dozen balls of fire made their way behind their sensei. Now is when the kunai comes into play. It went inbetween their sensie and Shinzo, forcing their sensei back into the fire balls.
