Akemi's eyes were sharper than most. They had to be with her chosen forte. To correctly measure the distance between her and a target was vital and it was no small task when on the fly. The young kunoichi had trained to take in everything she could, pushing to see the smallest of details even in everyday situations. To identify any materials, to conclude how an item was made by the markings, to judge if it was properly taken care of, to hypothesize on structure and weight, and so much more. So when this spar began, the girl let all the pressures of the world fade away. There was no need for pressure, this wasn't a test and they wouldn't fault her for mistakes. Akemi didn't need to worry about the bad things that could happen so they simply wouldn't happen.
She traded it for a sharp clarity fueled by the adrenaline pumping in her blood. Everything became clearer, sharper, within both her line of sight and peripheral vision. The girl could feel the subtle changes in the air that would make the difference between a throw that was perfectly on mark and a foul. Small movements that were lost to an untrained eye were perfectly within her grasp to see and understand. The fluidity of the boy's movements, the grace in his step, and the path of his attack. In the back of her mind there was a bit of disappointment as missing the true meaning hidden in the first attack, but Akemi ignored it. She'd get better and with what she was able to analyze now she wasn't too unsatisfied.
And even as she watched the other girl's counter attack, probably trying to paralyze the boy temporarily from the waist down, her spare hand threaded through steel wiring while the other tossed her sword in the proper position. If she kept him stationary, she had a counter for close range and that meant she needed to get him out of there or they might lose (though the conditions for winning had never been stated to her). However, she stalled. Akemi simply froze much like what the water was doing around the two. How was she managing that and more importantly could Akemi learn how to do it? The possibilities almost made her lose focus, but she reigned it back in.
Just as the stalemate was almost complete, she let loose. Shuriken flew from her hands, all eight of them veering off path to either sides of the two. Akemi forced herself not to blush at how intimate their position looked from this angle and with a twist of the wrists and a slight tug the weapons, guided by steel wires, circled them to tied them into a nice bundle. The girl might be able to slip through, but Akemi was more worried about getting the boy out. The shuriken fell around them as she was careful not to make her trap a deathtrap. Then she ran to her sword and with a mighty kick off of it, pulled attempted to pull the boy from the needle right right through the opening in the top.
There was a bit of lag time, but it was mostly in the boy's favor. If it had been a battle he could have just simply stabbed the girl and Akemi would have pulled him and a corpse out of the ring before it could converge...Still she really needed to ask about learning that move though.

Kyomu back-pedalled rapidly as he saw the rogue ninja dip to attack, his footwork was pretty solid from continuous practices with his father, but even so he found himself hard pressed to stay ahead of her strikes. Typically the lower body was not a key point of contact unless combatants were on different vertical planes, but for a weapon such as a senbon it made sense for the ninja to want to limit their targets range and speed of movement to set up further debilitations to their attacking potential down the line. Kyomu had obviously over thought the attack as he put one foot wrong resulting in three of the senbon stabbing into his thigh, he growled and gritted his teeth at the pain, stumbling back and would have fallen were it not for the rogue's next action. To take hold of him as if embracing him, but for the fact that he could see the next attack coming, see it but do nothing about it. Her words in his ear stirred a sympathy so great that he almost didn't want to fight back, but knew that for that very reason cited he had to.
Then he felt something slip around his chest, yanking him back clear from the path of the missing-nin's attack and to the relative safety outside. He landed pretty hard, rolling a good few feet as he did, thankfully he was not rendered completely inert by his comrade's desperate manoeuvre and once they had landed the loop around him was loose enough that he could slip out and stand. Or at least he would have if there weren't still the small matter of three needles in his leg, kneeling he placed his sword and sheath down either side of him and reached for his wound. His hand trembled as he seized hold of the senbon, slick from the blood smeared along them. Gritting his teeth he pulled them loose with one swift sudden movement and threw them aside. The pain was almost blinding, even though he'd know it was coming it was somehow worse than when they'd been thrust in. He continued to grit his teeth as he rose, taking both sword and sheath into his hands as he did. The leg felt numb around the area where it had met with his opponent's weapon and he knew if he tried to run it would be a hindrance.
He knew though that he had to fight on and what's more he wished more than ever to an earnest fight against this rogue. He couldn't explain it at all, he wasn't a thick headed battle maniac like some of those from his class, he didn't even particularly like violence and usually saved it as a final recourse. He just seemed to feel that with their objectives and loyalties so drastically polarized, that he and this nukenin could best express themselves through an exchange of weapons. And that was when it hit him. 'Mu, we'll be learning a new Kenjutsu today,' his father's voice rang out in his head. Still holding both sword and sheath in a backhanded manner he tucked his elbows in so both were positioned as though secured on his sash, but both were outside of it and free to move. It wasn't ideal that he only had one sword as the technique was meant for two, but for such an attack an empty sheath would serve well enough.
'Thank you for saving me,' he said to Akemi, keeping his eyes focussed forward, a steely resolve in his voice that was rarely heard. 'But please allow me to finish this personally.'
'This jutsu possesses no power whatsoever. It will leave you completely open in the event that it fails, so it's not a killing skill like other Kenjutsu, rather it's a technique meant to save an opponent's life even at the risk of your own. It's name...'
His words were then directed to his opponent. 'The Era of the Bloody Mist has drawn to a close and I'll prove it to the world even at the expense of my own life.' It was a good thing that Kyomu could barely hear himself speaking over the blood hammering in his ears, adrenaline coursing through every fibre of his being. If he processed what he had just resolved to do then he might have broken down then and there.
'...is Kanzeon!'

Haku couldn't resist expressing his concern for the boy when he was yanked swiftly from the floating ring that was seconds from triggering."oh dear are you alright?she didn't hurt you yanking you about so, did she? i hope your okay and don't feel too sore at the moment."Haku turned to the girl who had thrown the wired weapons and privately commend her on her resourcefulness in having them." You really should watch where your throwing things little girl, if you had missed you could have poked someones eye out or worse with those toys." Haku admonished gently and smiled warmly at the girl as she spoke.
"Oh and you should throw things when the person your aiming for can see you do it.. It makes it far too easy to dodge if your quick about it. you want to do something like that, use a smoke screen first." Haku stood a few feet in front of them having hop skipped out of his own trap and her was ensnared by four of the wire sat the same time. He heard a soft whoosh behind him as the needles zeroed in on the location where he and the boy once stood. It made an awful mess the small missiles littering the ground for a five foot radius, Haku was standing just beyond it. He was standing there calmly having been yanked free wiggled quickly most of the way out of the wires as they went slack their tension having been played out.
"I think its time to step this up a notch shall we, I'm sorry. It is time. It will be quick and painless if you only hold still for a few moments.I can promise you as much I hope. Please what are your names and where do you live, I want to be able to fulfill the other have of my promise too." Haku watched with interest as the boy bent down and remove the needles from his lower limbs and was impressed about his braver and inner strength." Not many would do what you did, well done very well done." He warmly gave the compliment where he though it was do.
Haku frozen stock still as he heard the boys words and a look of deep confusion crossed his face. Nothing made sense, what was he talking about his head whirled as he clung to the only thing he could think of. The boy had to be lying he had to be, that was the only explanation for what he said. Mist wouldn't change their colors in so short a time could not! Generations of blood bathes all end so quickly it could not be true. The boy would expend his live trying to prove to whom that the horror is over. To him, did the boy plan to prove it to him? Why would he do that Haku didn't know him, could it be true... It couldn't could it?
Then Haku shifted from shock to disbelief and anger in a heart beat. The anger made his pretty feminine face more cruel and darkly evil and a lot less pretty, he wasn't just angry he was furious Betrayal swirled in his mind battling for for the mastery with pain and a dim and feeble hope that the boy was telling the truth. That all he said was true part of him wanted tor run and part of him wanted to stop and listen. He was so confused and it was making his head hurt, why couldn't the world be easy where it was black and white. Those who hunted his precious person were irredeemable evil and he lived for the dream of the one he loved. But nothing was ever that easy and nothing was ever that black and white apparently. There was always shades of gray.
On impulse just to clear his head and make the boy explain Haku charged him and the girl not caring who threw what at him. He kept low and spanned the short distance between them in an instant literally." which of you should i kill first." Haku wove around them moving almost faster then the eye could see circling around them again and again considering this point carefully. Haku flicked two hand fulls of needles at the girl one set from the black right and the other from the left side of the boy. Then Haku stood directly in front of the boy breathing heavily and winded from his dance. Haku tilted his head at them and repeated what he had said to the boy to both of them. " Do what you feel you must." Haku was trying to shock them and gauge their reactions and reaction times.

The lines held strong as Akemi pulled both of them from the needle trap. The kunoichi let out a deep breath as she landed and the lines went slack again. "That actually worked..." She thought, ecstatic and more than a little surprised. The girl wanted to crow in pride, but restrained and merely gave herself a pat on the back. Akemi didn’t want to ruin the cool points she’d surely gained by letting a lapse of judgment cloud her mind. With a sharp yank, the shuriken on the wires’ end were sent flying once more. Akemi still didn’t know if her opening move had sufficed for anything noteworthy and there wasn’t a clear indicator of gaining a point through that maneuver. Yet, she couldn’t slack just yet.
Taking a quick survey of the boy’s crouched position and Haku’s stance a few feet off, barely taking note of her words, she flicked her fingers to change her weapons’ paths. The shuriken headed straight toward Akemi’s sword, wrapping around it before another a tug pulled it free of the ground and back into her hands. Even though that had been what she was going for, she didn’t plan for her hand to suddenly get tangled and effectively tied to the hilt of her weapon. She hurriedly started fiddling with it to untangle the strings, but was suddenly distracted.
'Thank you for saving me, but please allow me to finish this personally.'
“What? Why?” she asked trying to split her attention between figuring out what the boy was planning, her own state of duress, and the other girl that had just decided to move. Eyes widening as the girl became a blur, Akemi realized that she was pressed for time and would certainly manage to separate her weapons. Whether the boy liked it or not, it seemed like she wouldn’t be able to sit by idly if the other girl’s aggression was anything to go by.“Come on, think. You’re gonna be a weapon master IMPROVISE!” Thinking fast, Akemi suddenly tightened the wires around her sword’s hilt and wrapped the other ends around her wrists.
"Which of you should i kill first?"
Akemi gritted her teeth, as she sped through handseals. The distance in speed was too great and she’d need any advantage she could get not to lose right here. “Shunshin no Jutsu!” Senses rushed to catch up with everything happening as chakra flooded through her body. It was just enough to follow the girl’s movement as she circled around them. Already, she had a handful of needles. Akemi’s eyes locked on them. “Basic five finger spread.” The kunoichi knew her weapons. The thing about them was that they traveled in a straight line. Their own shape made them nearly impossible to pick out once thrown, but Akemi knew not to look for that. She looked at Haku to tell their path.
And moved as soon as they were out of her grip. However, the second volley caught her off guard and a couple pierced her right arm. Still, she used the Shunshin to gain distance whilst spinning the sword attached to her hand like a makeshift flail. Then she sent it cutting a path toward the senbon user.

I must be crazy, I've never properly pulled that off even once. But no! Thinking like that will only get me killed here! I have to... have to...
Which one of you should I kill first?
...PULL THIS PERSON OUT OF THE BLOODY MIST!
Kyomu watched, unmoving as Haku circled them at high speed, he needed an opening, a stoppage or else there was no way he would be able to connect and what with the pain in his leg he knew he wouldn't get a second chance even supposing the rogue didn't finish him off mid-air. He took his attention completely off Akemi as he stood at the eye of the storm and was moving as soon as Haku stopped. 'Kagami-ryu...' he began announcing his technique, spreading his arms out wide so they were almost entirely extended. 'Kanzeon!' Surging forward he noted immediately that his run was slowed by the uneven gait from the pain in his leg, gritting his teeth he picked up the pace and resolved that his execution of the technique HAD to be perfect to compensate.
Soon enough he was on the cusp of reaching Haku and with his best foot forward (rather literally) he ducked down, tucking both his weapons down back to his sides, with any luck the renegade would have expected some kind of sweep from the sides. Instead Kyomu thrust up at her in an effort to slam the hilt of his sword and end of his sheath into the missing-nin's jaw. Still airborne he began to flip backwards, grimacing at the sudden pain in his leg from his lift off. Still he followed through, lashing out with his good leg hopefully to strike his target dead on the chin a second time.
Surprising display of athleticism aside, it was only about halfway through his revolution, his body arcing through the air, that Kyomu saw Akemi's sword heading right for them. Shit! I can't move like this... and if it hits her then... then. The young ninja gritted his teeth, hoping beyond hope that the blade might pass harmlessly between them. Why had she not just listened and stayed out of it!? No, he couldn't blame her for wanting to defend herself, her home. If anything he would only have himself to blame if something awful should befall the rogue-ninja despite his pledge.

Haku turned back just in time to get a fist to the jaw which he relaxed into and kept on his feet ignoring the pain. Haku shift to look at the boy and simply stare at him.He could see determination in the boys eyes but he saw fear as well and pain well hidden in a wince and a grimice. Haku watched with one eye on the boy and one on the approaching sword. The boy was worried about the yo yo sword spinning right for them and he just put him self in its path as haku consider for a brief second what he should do. Haku focus on the girls attack as he willed his powers to work, ice blue chakra seeped from his body as he stood there shaking his head to clear it.
Haku threw his hands up to block the force of the blade and an ice dome with a radius of 6 feet and a high of 7 feet, this dome was a variant of the ice spikes which took his father's life. It was a hastily erected shelter which only lasted for a few moments which was enough. Haku was distracted enough that he didn't have time to dodge kyomu's attacks he was trying to take care of the life threatening threat first, stupid girl throwing a sword at close quarters like that. He heard an awful scraping sound of metal against ice and felt a dull thud as it collided with the ice dome. The dome was only a few inches thick but was slightly opaque with a whitish blue tint to it obscuring the two inside of the dome. Haku refocused to the boy haku's breath steamed slightly as the temperature dropped around him. The dome dumped cold air down upon them both and it glinted like crystal shimmering in the sun light. Haku leaned over and put his hand into the ice the ice rippling slightly as he did so, he pulled back quickly and readjusted to face his attacker. The ice grew solid again as soon as his hand left it, with hardly a ripple to be seen.
Haku spun back to the boy just in time to receive a sword to the face at a wobbling speed. Haku fell to the ground in a heap using his hands to slow his decent blood dripped from his moth as he glared dazed up at the boy for a second then slump to the ground overcome. he had a split lip and several nasty bruises to one side of his face. Haku lay face down in the dirt unconscious from the blows for a few minutes, his eye lids fluttering as he tried to re gain his senses. Haku's dome began to crumble as soon as he lost consciousness because he wasn't feeding chakara to the ice to maintain its unnatural shape.it started from the center outwards falling in largeih sheets collapsing in on its self.

The chakra fled from her body and with the lack of it thrumming through her, Akemi's enhanced speed and reflexes returned to normal. Her feet came to a skidding stop even as she struggled to maintain the sloppy control over her makeshift flail with one arm. Maybe there was a bit of chakra left or perhaps it was just all the adrenaline, but her sword cut a slower path than she would have wished in her eyesight. However, much to the girl's astonishment, her attack was going to be denied. At that moment she didn't know how, but she could see something happening.
To Akemi, it seemed as if a fine layer of mist formed before solidifying into ice. A lot of ice. Enough to encase both the girl and boy in with enough room to spare. "That's so unfair!" Why didn't they teach her than in the academy? The glorious ice weapons she'd be able to make would save her tons of time, effort, and allowance! Even as her sword made a solid impact against the dome like shield, Akemi felt jealousy seep into her thoughts.
The kunoichi couldn't do anything but watch from a distance as she reeled her sword back in. It was hard to tell what happened, but this would probably be the final move between those two. She strained to see from her spot because she was a little wary of walking closer. Akemi didn't want to miss the climactic final attack! They were both stuck in there. So it'd come down to that for sure with neither of them having anywhere to go.
The girl caught her sword and moved to unravel it while watching before she was reminded of her right arm. With an annoyed sight, she carefully slid the needles from her arm. She moved to flick them away, then thought better of it. After a careful glance at the dome, she shrugged and slipped them into her weapon pouch. "I'll give them back if she notices..." she muttered. The other girl could make hundreds with her ice anyway. Then she started as the ice began to break. She hastily unraveled her sword, successfully this time, and placed it back in its sheath. Her arm was still a bit stiff, but she'd manage.

Kyomu felt both sharp impacts as his blows connected, watched the ice dome form quickly around them and promptly dropped like a stone to the floor. Landing squarely on his shoulders, unable to get his feet around a full revolution so he could land the technique properly, his head smacked hard against the concrete floor with a dull thud. His own head spinning he rolled onto his side and pushed himself up. His legs quaked as he was finally able to stand, flipping his sword to a forehanded position he dropped his sheath altogether and turned it so the blunt edge faced outwards. With his world still spinning he lashed out with he blade, throwing all his weight behind it as he lurched towards the rouge ninja, he stood barely a second longer than she did and pitched over to one side as his injured leg gave out in an eruption of pain. Landing on his side he observed as the ice dome around them began to crack to pieces. Just as my luck would have it...
Dragging himself hand over hand towards his prone 'enemy,' Kyomu rolled the rogure ninja onto her front and draped his torso and arms over her as the dome finally gave, forming a protective cocoon of sorts over the intruder. One might well wonder why a newly appointed Genin might go so far to save an opponent, ethics mostly, but nothing approaching pity. Wavering on the cusp of unconsciousness himself, Kyomu inclined his head away from the falling sheets of ice, shocked by the cold impacts against his back as it dissolved above them.
Are you alright now....? I wonder, have I saved you yet? The thought brought a tiny smile to his face as he finally gave way, falling limp as the last of ice lost its integrity and fell.

Aside from the sound of shattering glass, it was quiet...too quiet. There wasn't any battle cries, ringing of weapons clashing, or well rehearsed speeches. There was nothing but that dead silence as the dome fell. Akemi's breath hitched as it finally cleared away. Without the cloudy ice, two forms were revealed...in an odd position. Had they knocked each other out in a flashy trade of final moves? And how did the boy land on her like that? "Jeez, you'd think these two were flirting with each other the entire game."
Then something registered. It took a moment of staring, but when it hit Akemi gasped. "Wait, does that mean I won?" She had to have one right? Sure, there weren't any stated rules, but they had passed out. They had passed out and she was still conscious. So she won right? Carefully, in case they were faking, the girl edged over. They were both still breathing even though they were a bit worse for wear. How to make sure...
Poke~ She lightly pressed a toe against the boy and lept back. No response. Not even a twitch from him. That lump on his head must have been a pretty rough hit. She edged closer once more...Poke~ This time she prodded the girl laying prone beneath the boy. Akemi back away slowly when she didn't move either. One step, two, then a large third step before turning around.
"I WON!" The girl jumped as high as she could in sheer joy. So what if she got luck? So what if it was by default!? She won and if anyone had the gall to say otherwise, she'd give a massive kick in the groin! Landing she suddenly covered her mouth and glanced back. Good, they were still out. Now what? So she won and the two others were lying there like a sack of potatoes. What if they died!? Within the realm of her mind a smaller, childish form of herself ran around in circles. Rivers of tears flowed from her eyes as she wailed in a panic. Her arms jutted out into the air and failed with reckless abandon.
"Relax, deep breath," a pause for one. "You got this." She just had to get them to the hospital...which was very far away. Could she even lug them that far? Home was closer! Destination in mind, Akemi made a quick check to make sure all her pointy objects were where they couldn't accidentally stab the others. "Alright, lets do this."
Heave ho~
Later one would find a girl calmly walking down the streets of Kiri. The symbolical of normality was destroyed utterly by the fact that she had another person on each of her shoulders. Those that didn't know her all too well just stared blankly. Those that did know her still stared blankly, but when back to their work a moment later.
"MAKE WAY, WE JUST GOT THROUGH TRAINING!" She shouted when she hit a particular busy area. For a second she considered using her burdens as makeshift rams, but they probably wouldn't like that once they regained consciousness. So she stomped a few toes, used a bit of elbow, and squeezed through where she could.
Finally, she kicked open the door to her home and sighed. Good thing the resturant was still open, her parents would be too busy to pester her with questions. It gave her a bit of time to check these two over for anything serious and come up with excuses if her parents did barge in. Now where to put them? She carefully set one on the couch, grabbed a pillow and laid the other one down. Then moved the other next to her. They were so comfy together during battle, Akemi didn't see the two making a big fuss when they woke up next to each other.
Nodding to herself and cracking her knuckles, she set to wrapping them up. The girl wasn't that bad bumps on the head and a bit of swelling. The boy had a bump too, but the cuts were a bit more troubling. They didn't look deep so she just cleaned them and wrapped him up. Now she just had to wait for them to wake up. So Akemi leaned against the wall off to the side and tried to fight her eyelids shutting for more than what was needed to blink. However, soon she fell asleep, snoring lightly.

Haku's eyes fluttered once his mind taking stock of the sensations feeling in from his sore body.Gingerly with his eyes still closed he made a mental catalog of his present condition. Nothing was broken, his body didn't hurt enough for that thankfully. He was also still alive for the moment and unbound what luck or stupidity of his capture granted him that favor he didn't know or really care.He was grateful he had not been bound yet it would maker it harder to escape that way though not totally impossible. He was inside a building, he knew that much from the calm in the air in smelled stale and unnatural to him having spent for ever and a day out in the big wide world. Haku flexed his hands and feet and tried to move his arms and legs, all of them moved easily and freely which confirmed his hope of being able to move freely.
Haku smiled as he open his eyes and was staring at a ceiling of what looked like a house. He didn't try to sit up yet as his cheek hurt something awful and his head was pounding slightly.Haku looked to his left and found ha was facing a wall covered in a type of cloth and which served as his bed of sorts. It was probably a couch or some such article of furniture. It was soft and very comfortable beneath him and haku felt heat radiating off something to his right, in fact it radiated all down his body indicating the thing was at least long as himself. Haku turned his head slightly in that direction and found that he was staring at the unconscious face of the boy who was the source of the heat. It was at that moment he became aware of a light snoring somewhere beyond the boy, some one else was asleep in the room they were in.
With that discovery haku sat up like he had been burned and then stood up ignore the protesting from his head. Haku light and silently leap from the couch over the boy and land on all fours on the floor. Moving on all four he approached the source of the snoring, it was the girl who had thrown her weapon at haku. Haku was feeling dizzy and weak but other wise alright. Haku debated killing both genin they had see who he was and what he was capable of he really ought to kill them quickly and silently before either woke up. But no he couldn't do that, at that moment he wished with all his might he knew how to fool the senses of the young ninja but he didn't and he couldn't end their lives when they hadn't harmed what was his to protect. He would give them a chance and hope they would think the entire incident was a bad dream. Haku looked about the room for anything he could use to heal the boy and girls wounds given by him and cursed that he didn't bring his herbal medicines with him on this trip. it would have made it so much easier for him if he had his kit with him.
While he searched the unfamiliar house quickly and effectively he was looking for in formation too, anything to tell him the current political state in Kiri. Which he suspected was better then the last time that he and Zabuza had passed this way. It would be so much easier if it was then maybe the coup might not be needed if the country had changed for the better, maybe he and zabuza could return and live in peace with the citizenry. Haku didn't truly like fighting but he was a tool and his job was to heal and kill for Zabuza. Haku found some information and took a quick glance over it. They boy had suggested that the bloody mist era was over and that even the cursed ones were being treated better. That could not be the Fourth Mizukage's doing surely he would not change his blood stained ways so drastically.
Haku pondered this as he made hi way to the door and quickly opene it softly. He peeked out and quickly shut it behind him walking slowly and seemly un hurriedly out onto the street. He made his way out of the village slowly but surely disappearing into the afternoon mist like he had never been there at all.
