(in formation the mist nin might know about haku general stats) Weapon of Zabuza (missing nin) name: unknown referred to as 'Haku' as that was the name zabuza used when addressing it age: early to mid teens possibly much younger (see appearance) General appearance: brown or black hair long brown or dark green eyes slender feminine build giving the appearance of a younger child. Soft feminine voice. it wears a kiri hunter nin outfit complete with a mask sometimes, be warned. first seen as a young child when zabuza first defected. Gender: unknown Threat: Dangerous( because of the Kekai Genkai) if provoked but other wise will flee rather then fight. note:The child is a member of the former Yuki clan in kiri as evidenced by his ability
Haku sat staring at the building looking it over with the minutest detail to take in evry inch of it If he could he would have burnt holes in the morter from staring at it for too long. He hated the buildings of this town but that one most of all becuase it contanted the mizukages office. He wanted t kill the mizu kage and set Zabuza up in thier place. It wasn't personal it was just business to him, he wanted to fulfill his master's dream of conquearing kiri. Haku sat upon the hill and completed why he was here. He wanted to quitely take kiri by storm but first he had to get into kiri with out being murdered on sight. He feared to display his abilities in this town vividly remembering his youth. Haku climbed to his feet and walk calmly into the town dressed as hunter nin with his hair neatly contained. He calmly waved to the people as he passed acted as though he belonged there and was supposed to be there.
His clothes were a little wrinkled having slept in them on more then one occasion and his mask was somewhat scuffed up from the times he ran into real hunter nin on the road with Zabuza out for Zabuza's head that he could not allow so he along with the others attacked and killed them. Haku looked around him trying to find a weapons shop so he could replace his weapons while he was here no sense walking around unarmed. He stopped in the street and tilted his head this way and that confused and unsure. A frown forming on his face which was clearly visible as he had taken his mask of as he enter the city. It was a mercy no one recognized him but he hadn't been there for years so maybe they for got about him and Zabuza which seemed unlikely because they still sent hunter after them. Haku shivered slightly and barely managed to school his overly feminine features into a warm smile which did not reach his eyes. He hoped the smile and the mist head band about his for head would conceal him as a face in the crowd.Just one of many Shinobi in Mist on that day.

Kyomu had been out for the better part of the day, he would have liked to have spent the day training what with his upcoming team assignment, but he had chores to see to and errands to run. So it was that he found himself trudging back to the Clan compound through throngs of his now fellow shinobi. It was something he had always wanted, but being counted amongst their number was something which he was only gradually wrapping his head round. Though he had grown up around shinobi and it had long been his firm intent to become the best that he could be, upon graduation he had suddenly begun to feel that he'd stepped into a different world with different rules. He felt like he couldn't simply walk the streets any more, that he had to be watching and sizing everything up.
As a result he had cast his eye to the other side of the street where a shifty looking character was inviting passers by to come take a look at his 'goods.' Kyomu was initially very suspicious until he realised that when he was younger his father had frequented this man to buy gardening supplies, thoroughly awed by his own over-eagerness to set the village to rights Kyomu turned to meet with the face of a young woman. (Or at least, what he immediately supposed to be a young woman.) Immediately he stepped back, treading inadvertently on his own hakama, his arms which had been tucked in his sleeves were unable to cushion him and he fell squarely on his backside. At the very least if he'd made such a fool of himself he hadn't knocked someone down.
Looking up he rubbed the back of his neck in idle embarrassment as he spoke. 'So sorry, miss. I don't know where my head was at in the least.'

Haku looked this way and that dazed and confused as he sat down hard on the ground, his hair swinging forward as he fell backward. He winced in pain for a moment before schooling his features into a soft frown.Haku looked right infront of him where the young man was sitting looking embassred and sheep-ish. Haku shifted calmly to his hands and knees approaching kyomu he smiled brightly while looking the younger boy up and down with concern etched onto his features." Are you alright sir? Are you hurt? I have some healing skill as a ninja i'm sorry i wasn't looking or i might have saved us both."Haku spoke in soft sweet feminine voice and he spoke respectfully to every one he met if he spoke at all. He tilted his leaning in the look closer at the boy aware of the eyes on the back of his head. It was making his skin crawl to be stared at in his home country where every one was so hostile to his kind.He felt a blind urge to set off running as far away as he could get, but knowing the ninja here like he did they might set off after him like a pack of wild dogs.
Haku body stiffened as he stood up slowly and leaned down to off his hand to the boy "Here, take may hand i'll help you up.What's your name and what were you looking at that shop keep so hard for any way. i think you scared him." Haku end his question in a wry grin and a questioning glance. He once again look ed the boy up and down mentally sizing him up.he was young, younger then himself any way. He had an overly overt alertness about him seldom seen in older or more experienced hands at the shinobi craft. its the silent an casual ones you had to watch for the ones that blended in with the crowd. the boys seemed too green for that though. Haku thanked his lucky stars that he was dressed as one of them today, he'd be somewhat less noticeable if he didn't call attention to himself."could you guide me to the weapon's shop young sir. I'm new in town and don't know where it is."Haku lied through his teeth and hoped the body wasn't observant. The lie was a test to see if the boy would catch the slip of the tongue.

'N-no, you don't have to do that, I'm fine thank you, miss,' Kyomu assured the girl (or so he though ) and by and large he was. What he wasn't fine with was this sudden closeness... he leaned away blushing and shuffled backwards as Haku stood, he took 'her' hand without dispute and allowed himself to be pulled back to his feet. She's kind of strong for a girl, guess that comes with being a kunoichi. She still has really soft hands though, seems a bit weird for a Hunter-nin. Kyomu glanced to the shop keep again and smiled awkwardly. 'Well, I thought he looked kind of suspicious, but I know him from when I was younger, so... Oh, I'm Kyomu by the way.' He neglected his last name for no other reason than that, being a Hunter-nin, she'd know well enough from the crest on the back of his kimono. It hadn't been that many years since that special band of ninja had been on the look out for that same crest adorning the back of a hulking blue haired man and his greatsword. Even meeting this one brought to mind thoughts of his Uncle Keiji, whom he'd never met but had been told much of. Feeling dreadfully melancholy for a moment, he cast the thought from his mind. A look of confusion flashed across Kyomu's face at the Hunter-nin's request, he tilted his head to one side before breaking into a warm smile and giving his answer. 'Certainly, it's not actually that far from here.' He turned, beckoning Haku to follow him with one hand while he threaded the thumb of the other through his obi, it looked habitual, something he always did when he walked. The real reason he'd placed his hand thus while leaving the other free was to have it close by his sword, ready to perform a quick draw if he needed to. Much as he had tried to cover the revelation he had caught on immediately, though to be honest it was a screaming discrepancy which anyone could've picked up on. An apparent Hunter-nin, not knowing where a weapons shop was and to top it off being 'new in town.' He hadn't called the obvious lie out because he didn't want to cause a scene, or worse yet a fight, in such a crowded place. Which begged the question of where he would lead her that he could safely confront her? And would he be able to get there before this imposter realised and called him out on the fact they were being led astray? As he led her along his eyes darted this way and that looking for a possibility, he would occasionally glance back to see that he was still being followed, offer a smile and then resume walking. How did I get into this mess?

Haku watched as the boy blushed and stammered with a soft encouraging smile. He calmly pulled back on his hand taking the boy up with him in one fluid motion.(haku paints his toe nails, i think hes secretly a girl ) Haku nodded once at the explanation and considered that for a second.taking it to mean that the boy tended to jump to conclusion a lot without investigating farther into them. This trait in the boy could either hurt or help Haku depending how it came into play in the next few hours. the visit to the weapons shop was critical for Haku and Zabuza's plan's of being assassins for hire. It would decide how Haku played with the boy's mind and whither he decided to try to sweet talk him or just disappear without a word. Haku eyed the symbol on his back with curiosity he hadn't seen it before but the configuration is something he had seen in the clans of other villages. Does that mean the boy came from a clan, perhaps with a keikai genkai too? If he did Haku hoped that the gods would be kind to the family of the boy he would hate for the young one to deserve his fate. No one deserved his fate but him and he would do anything to keep it that way. Haku watched as confusion passed briefly over his companions face fallowed quickly by a warm smile which reassured him somewhat of the boy's denseness. Why would they let a fool in the shonbi to get6 him killed if he is honestly that much of a fool.If he had to be an absolute fool if he didn't see through that and that boded well for him. Haku smiled as the boy told him where it was and then offered to show him where it was. He eyed the boy's back warily uncertain of this choice fallowing a boy he didn't know to a location he wasn't sure of. It smelled of a trap to him and he flinched when the boy's hand stray near the blade at his side. He wondered if he could run up and take the blade away from him without him noticing, and considered risking it to disarm him in a second flat but that would tip his hand. If he was who he said he was why would he care if the boy had a weapon. Haku smiled back when the boy turned around and smiled at him practically beaming at him. He watch the boy look this way and that and that concerned him. Every sense screaming it is a trap he asked concern etched in his voice." You do know the way right?"

The question told him two things, that she was on to him and that she was set on not causing a scene. As they passed through the ever thinning masses of people he knew that the likelihood of confrontation was rapidly escalating, he needed somewhere, anywhere to duck into where this could be dealt with without risk of involving civilians. Then it struck him, like a bolt of lightning, a place that only ninja would go. Training courtyard... Though there were fields outside the village perimeter set aside for such things, each quarter of Kirigakure had a wide open space for just that purpose. Not only were they frequented by shinobi, they also served as regular waypoints for Kirigakure's roving patrols. Kyomu's lead suddenly became much more confident, his eyes were fixed ahead save for when he glanced back to be sure his follower was still in place. 'Of course I know the way,' he said reassuringly, 'I've lived here my whole life after all.'
For all that his steps had gained confidence, his hands had begun to tremble, it growing to a peak at one point where with his hand settled on his obi, the vibration caused his sword to rattle audibly in its sheath. As they approached the mouth of the long alley which led to the enclosed courtyard, he had stilled his anxiety at least for the time being and he gestured down the passage with his thumb.
'It's just through the courtyard ahead, ladies first.' He was facing Haku side on now, obscuring his hand and sword with his body, leaving the supposed Hunter-nin oblivious to the fact that his hand had shifted from sash which held his sword to the mouth of its sheath. His thumb was already pressed to the guard, ready to free the blade for the fastest draw he could muster should the need arise. I just hope this works out...

"Okay. i trust you." He said calmly and with warm smile and tone.Haku watched him as he made a decision of some kind his posture becoming straighter and more sure."are you sure its through there wouldn't it be back among the other shops in the market place?" Haku twitched as the sword rattle and walked faster to catch up with Kyomu and look him in the face for a brief moment."are you all right? your sword is shaking strangely, are you feeling okay?"He spoke as one concerned for the boys health and he wondered if the boy was ill. Haku eyed the passage and experienced a stomach turning second of weary doubt. His instincts were still screaming full blast and the was a concerned frown saddened his face."if you insist..." Haku calmly crossed in front of the boy trying to edge subtlety out of his reach not truly trusting him not to attack. It would be exactly what he would do if their roles were reversed. Actually he would be much harsher in his treatment of an intruder more then likely take that sword and threatening them with it for daring to threaten what was his to protect. He was displaying a large amount of trust in the boy to even expose his back to him, he hoped he wouldn't be lead astray by his better feeling. The clear understanding of where a boy like him growing up in kiri was coming from he could see as though he were watching a film of him self. Haku approached the passage and after a brief moment of hesitancy entered it calmly as though nothing was wrong at all.
Haku walked along the passage hearing foot falls behind him and knowing what position he put himself in. He was trapped in with no way to go but forward and no prospect of escape without going through the boy whom he didn't want to hurt with out cause to do so. Haku approached the exit and took a quick look around curiously. Speaking softly and with much confusion a moment later he ask a question of his guide."but where is the shop I dont see any shop here." And i don't see any way out either he thought to him self as he tilted his head. he stepped out into the open area and turned to face the boy confusion in his eyes and manner.

'It's in a secret spot, only Kiri ninja know about it.' He was pretty sure that lie was completely unconvincing but it seemed enough to get them to their destination without an explosion of violence at any rate.
Kyomu swallowed hard as his quarry entered the passageway willingly, she had said 'I trust you.' Was it possible that she was not the ruthless assassin he supposed her to be, she seemed nice enough. But no, for someone wishing harm to the village that would be just the persona to adopt. After a brief pause he followed, still clutching his sword as though it were his lifeline... regrettably it seemed increasingly likely that would become the case. As a member of the Kagami Clan, no, as a shinobi of Kirigakure no Sato he could not allow any threat to the village to remain unchecked while it was in his power to impede it. That was a part of his commitment, to nurture and change the new Kiri along with his father and the Godaime Mizukage. What kind of ninja would he be if he were to allow his convictions to bend and break at the bat of an eyelash or the honeyed words of a complete stranger?
Emerging into the courtyard, he looked up to the open sky, the only avenue of escape discounting the one he currently occupied. His eyes falling to the imposter he widened his stance, to brace for action and better block off the way from which they had come. Above Haku's questions, the sound of his thumb edging his sword free of its constraint resounded. His other hand found its way to the sword's hilt, ready to draw at a moment's notice. It would be his first time fighting another honest to goodness ninja, though he had trained with his father enough to know he'd likely only have a moment. This was what he'd trained for, to protect the Mist.
'Drop the act please, miss. A Hunter-nin who doesn't know Kirigakure like the back of her hand? You must think I'm an idiot. Now, I'd like you to tell me why it is you've invaded my home.'

Haku knew as surely as if he could read the boys mind what he planned to do.The sound alone was enough to put him on edge, the boy meant to draw his sword if he haku showed any signs of threat or probably if he tried to run away. That was usually how these encounters ran for him if he was the one caught, he was after all wanted in mist. He had calmly walked into a trap which he had suspected was coming even if he didn't know the exact mechanics of the boys plan. Haku saw that he had ether to paths to take, which would decide his stance in this battle. He could deny all knowledge of what the boy claimed say something like 'it was a test' or some such notion. Or he could admit to it all what would it really gain mist not to know that he was back in town provided he could incapacitate the boy before he could call for assistance from some one stronger. Mist knew he existed and potentially knew he worked with or for Zabuza, they would gain no new information there.
He could speed up to the boy take his sword and threaten him with it, it wouldn't take more then a split second and it would be so easy to do. He would lose nothing by either course and it might be a good idea to threaten the boy. It was possible that real hunters might be set on his tail which would make his and Zabuza position a little more precarious the here to fore. They had to lie low or they would attract that attention, his goal was to find out what state the country of water was in.It didn't seem to him that he would get the information any other way.Haku put on a shock look of hurt surprise." I-I don't know what you mean. I-"
Haku disappeared in an instant move with eye blurring speed, calmly with practiced ease he moved beside the boy pulling out set of senbon as he did and aiming it at the boys neck. Standing with his eyes darkened in a threatening manner. His soft feminine voice had taken on a bite of cold hardness as he spoke calmly." You caught me in a manner of speaking but I'm not an intruder from outside. I lived here once upon a time and i missed it sad to say. I fled when i was a child because the town's people wanted to kill me. So I came back and this is what i find too bad. I should kill you now for threatening me, don't worry I'll be quick and merciful. You won't suffer... much."Haku was mostly spoke in deadly earnest and waited to see the boy's reaction. In truth he was trying to shock him into fainting or other weakness and was very interested in how he might react to the threat.
Haku leaned in close after uttering this awful speech and smiled and uttered two words very softly."fooled you."

Upon a desolate battlefield stood one lone figure shrouded in red mist. She could see their numbers in the distance, determined to intimidate and overwhelm her. She could feel their rumbling footfalls, the sheer number causing a murmur to travel through the ground silent as they were. She could hear their beating hearts, pumping blood and chakra in anticipation. She could smell the stench of fear amongst their ranks. Her body is made of countless weapons. Two in hand, extensions of self, while numerous more scattered the ground. Some of them laid innocently with only the tell tell crimson that partially covered their form giving away the sins they'd committed. Other pierced the ground, letting the parched earth drink heavily from the red water the mist was too full to hold. And each scroll on her form held countless more, too many to be counted. Each and every one of them begged for freedom, to cut down the enemies that challenged them.
She survived through countless battles. Those wounds that sought to bleed her body dry would fail. Her body was that of tempered steel, forged from the heat of her heart. That fear that briefly cried out in a sense of self preservation turned to a cry of pain as it burned away by the molten metal that pumped in her veins. Not once had she retreated from the line of duty. Not once had she failed her mission. She would hold this army and make them regret their lives. She was intoxicated with victory in this bloody mist. It would not end here either. That body of hers was certainly a weapon.
"AKEMI, QUIT PLAYING IN THE YARD!" The sudden shout jerked the young lady that was most certainly not a harbinger of death back to reality. A reality that revealed her to be a girl barley into puberty and not a cold blooded ANBU that could take an army by herself. A girl that let out a shocked squeal and hurled the kunai that had been trained on a poorly made dummy randomly into the distance.
"GAH!" Ignoring a dying yowl in the distance, Akemi took a moment to even out her breath and make sure her heart was beating right. Then, she rounded on where the shout had come from. Red faced from embarrassment and anger, she shouted back. "Mom, I'm training! Not playing! I almost threw a kunai at you! You coulda died!" Though it was unlikely as her mother was a ninja too, the girl still saw fit to defend her training.
"Then go train at the training grounds!" Her mother's sarcasm was so biting that any rebuttal died on the girl's lips. In an attempt to preserve what was left of her dignity she merely stalked off silently. She was a ninja now, ninjas didn't have time to argue with their mothers like a little kid. They trained and became stronger! Too bad she still unknowingly stomped and pouted away from her home. It kind of ruined the whole trained killer image she was aiming for.
The girl didn't go far down the road before an annoying clanking sound began to cut passed her sulking. All the stomping had ended up jarring her sword loose in her sash tying her kimono. She was quick to right it, tightening it for good measure less she suffer any more embarrassment. The girl didn't think her pride as a ninja could cope with any more. A quick check, patting herself down to make sure all her scrolls were in place and she set off once again with a much more clear mind. In a fit of nervousness, she glanced from side to side to make sure that no bystanders had noticed her almost mishap. However, everyone was too preoccupied with their daily lives to give her much notice.
That and the others that weren't were more interested in the two kids sprawled on their butts. They looked around her age, maybe a bit older considering not even she looked her age much to her chagrin. One looked slightly familiar while the other she felt comfortable in assuming that they'd never cross paths. Which was saying something since it was a girl. Was she a ninja? Was the boy?
As the duo walked off, she toyed with the thought of asking to train with them. If they weren't ninja they'd say so. If they were they'd either except or refuse. If the former, she'd have two targets-err fellow ninja to train with which was good. If the latter...well, she might end up making a fool of herself and so help her if they doubted her word of being a ninja and though her some curious civilian. Why she'd...she'd - wait, did they say weapon shop? That settled it!
Akemi was already passing a junction that led to one of the nearest ones to intercept their path. The young kunoichi had it all planned out. She'd pass by, they'd take the same path, then she'd take the chance to introduce herself and not seem like a nosy eavesdropper, and finally impress them so much with her extensive knowledge on weapons that they'd want to have her train with them. However, that didn't happen. She ended up passing out of their sight and unheeded by them as they went on they're merry way. She had to double back and even take to a roof for a better view to pick them out of the crowd.
"Where are they going?" There weren't any weapon shops in that direction! She was sure, there wasn't a single weapon shop she didn't know of. She even knew about the crappy ones! Unless there was one that she didn't know about...but that was impossible. Right? Akemi stomped childishly in a mixture of having her perfect plan foiled and the possible blow to her faltering pride. Only for an aggravated thumping from beneath her feet to come back and startle her. Startle her off the roof, which luckily had something to break her fall and was unluckily enough to be a trashcan.
Growling and teeth grinding together, she immediately jumped out. After a quick sniff to make sure the smell wasn't lingering (it wasn't, thank goodness) and peeling the banana peel from her its place stuck to her butt, she took off. Jumping back onto a different roof, she headed to where the other two were headed. She nearly lost them, backtracking twice when she'd been thrown off by similar hair colors. Still, she had caught them. Seeing them off in the distance, she fell into that bad habit of hers where she acted without thinking.
Stampeding into the training ground, she shouted, "There aren't any weapon shops here!" The words hung in the air as she registered the sight taking place. Had they been sparring? A nervous sweat broke out on the back of her neck as her thoughts finally processed what she did.
"Play it cool Akemi. Icy cool. Smooth ninja icy cool. You got this."
"Err...can I train with ya'll," try as she might, the request came out shy and awkward in the tension she'd barged headfirst into. "Fail" Summed it up pretty accurately.
Notes: -She didn't "see" Haku's assault on Kyomu, she wasn't paying that much attention as she rushed in. She thinks she interrupted their sparring match. -Sorry it's long, I had to catch up to where you two were without intruding on past interaction. And Akemi is a big ham character. -She technically rushes in right at the end of Haku's post -Also, since the previous interaction from the last version of the site, Kyomu and Akemi only know of each other. They don't actually know each other.

Kyomu was not at all fooled by this most simple of ruses and though his eyes could only follow Haku as a near indistinct blur of motion, he COULD just about follow them. So when she made a move to threaten his vitals his swordsman's reflexes responded almost without his urging, whipping his sword sheath and all from its place on his sash to block Haku's thrusting hand. Only once they had struck together did he notice the senbon clutched between the creepy bishonen girl's fingers. He reckoned that a few of those in the right places would set him down for the count, he couldn't help but gulp at the prospect as they continued to push for leverage. He was only passingly familiar with the theory of acupuncture (as a means of combat at least) but he knew the precision required was incredibly rare and that contact with the weapon of choice was the most prudent option. Even without hitting a major muscle, artery or nerve, senbon could be drenched in all manner of unwholesome substance to make them more deadly.
Throughout his opponent's threat his face remained focused, his eyes searching for any possible flaw in her stance of which he could take advantage. Though he hadn't yet let his apprehension show the hair on the back of his neck stood up as his mind reeled at the prospect of the battle to come. He had trained for it, oh how he had trained for the day that he was to defend his home, but he had thought he would have been much more prepared. He'd thought that confrontation was to come when he was much older and stronger. Even so he could ill afford to shirk his obligation, no, his duty. His concentration was briefly diverted by the sudden appearance of another person, apparently a ninja judging by her question. Banking on the idea that his opponent had been similarly distracted he seized a tighter hold of his blade and whipped it out of the sheath, pirouetting as he stepped back and slicing towards his opponent to cover his retreat.
'It's not a spar,' he informed her grimly as he came to rest. He recognised this newcomer but perhaps because of his agitated mindset he could put no name to her face. Half crouched he was ready to spring into action, sword and sheath tucked in near his body, expecting a hail a of needles. He then addressed the renegade ninja, moved by her plea of persecution even if it had been followed by a threat of violence. Death was perhaps an idea he was not yet ready to wrap his young mind around, or it could be that the adrenaline already coursing in his veins had dyed all his tension and anxiety into affirmative action. 'I made no threats, it is you who has come unbidden and unannounced into this village. Whatever it was that you must have had to endure I assure you that it is at an end, however, as a member of the Kagami Clan I cannot allow you to inflict further suffering against the people of Kirigakure. Please, don't make me have to fight you.'
Though his warning of retribution sounded at best shaky in its conviction, the plea which followed was undoubtedly genuine. He had been told stories... horrible stories about the treatment of those with Kekkai Genkai and those who sheltered or supported them under Yagura. He had been spared the details, as it was his father's opinion that a child ought not be exposed to such things, but he was sure enough that the Yondaime Mizukage had touched many lives and that every life he had touched was ruined. So he could understand this young woman's anger and yet he felt the certainty in his heart that he had to stand against her, whatever it was that she wanted to do for whatever offence the Mist had committed in its darkest hour it would doubtless impact the lives of those not yet born to perpetrate such a horrific crime.
'So I'll ask you once more. Why have you come here?'

Haku backed up skipping nimbly back wards just out reach of the blade which sliced a few locks of hair from his left fore bang the clip slipping off and fallow softly to the ground. The long curtain of hair fanned out one side of his face rather unevenly trimmed he looked even more like girl then before if that were possible as apparently it was.He sighed and calmly leaned down not taking his eyes of the boy as his had searched out the fallen clip. He found it and scooped it up and slipped it and the other into a hidden pocket in his jacket. Haku had a bit of a hard time getting used to his bangs being down while he was working.
That statement gave him pause and a confused look crossed his face and stayed there. He did not understand what the boy was talking about it did not even make sense to him what changed." what do you mean by that? Haku paused in his relaxation to ask the question and stood tense and on edge ready to move at a seconds notice.his heart skipped beat when the boy announced that he was part of clan." you must be from the lucky clans the one who were useless to kiri and so not hated for causing blood shed and civil war.Killed because of who your family is, never again! My mother was killed because she was from one of the clans that were used in civil wars, because she gave birth to me in cursed blood. The blood of my father is on my hands.I killed him after the town killed my mother right in front of me. I was 5.How could generations of hate and fear just be over and even if it is it wont bring back the dead and the tortured.Kirigakure no sato has a lot to answer for in my reckoning. He will answer for it.I will make sure of it."Haku shift back and forth uncertainty he really didn't want to hurt the boy just scare him a little and make him think twice about tangling with unknowns it could get him killed. He also wanted information that was why he had snuck into the village to raid the mizu kage is office.
Haku look him up and down from his relative safe distance and notice he was growing in resolve which was good he'd need it for what was to come. Haku smiled soft.ly at the girl it was a warm friendly smile though he had never seen her before. He wanted to up them both at ease." Don't be afraid it wont hurt I promise. You both will feel no pain. I'm very good at that you know, easing pain. But first do what ever you feel is necessary, say your prayers, yell at me, fight anything, I would even let you cry if you wanted to. I want this to be easy for you just like falling asleep. If you tell me where you live i will even make sure your bodies get back to you families safely i promise. You have my word. I will make sure you are well taken care of." Haku held out his hands in an open gesture of peace and good will.A smile graced his face as though he were telling them about a fine present he meant to give them very soon."Do what ever it is you think necessary, I will not let go of his dream. I'm sorry but I can't give this up yet, do what you have to. I can wait." Haku was pointedly ignoring Kyomu's last question he would tell him when he was good an ready.

Not a spar? The what the hell was it supposed to be? This didn't look so appealing anymore. Akemi had plans to show off super awesome throwing skills, maybe some sword moves. Not too much, but enough for them to respect her coolness. The young lady even toyed briefly with the idea of finding a rival in the other kunoichi. Every high ranking ninja had a rival and an arch nemesis after all, it was required. She didn't seem to be finding an arch enemy anytime soon, but the thought of a rival had been exciting. Someone that she could compare herself to, someone that would constantly push her to new heights, and she would do the same. The stories told from them clashing would be bedtime stories. However, she was digressing from the points.
Shaking from her brief daydream, the kunoichi focused once more. Kemi listened intently, trying to find any clues. Then, it his her and she covered her mouth in an attempt not to gasp. It was a lover's quarrel! That made sense. That would explain why they met so awkwardly in town. As well as, why they went so out of their way to avoid the eyes of the public by walking all the way to this desolate training ground. THEY HAD EVEN USED STEPS AND AN ELABORATE CODE! One, meet secretly in the town. Two, use the code of "going find a weapon shop" to sneak away. Three, they'd lose anyone not paying attention by passing by said weapon shop, but instead go to a training ground. They'd even use the excuse of training if they were caught together and a bystander demanded an explaination.
It must have been love at first sight for them. Though destined to be separated by the ideals of pedigree within one of their family. And...And...Wait a second. Since when did quarreling lovers go through such long speeches. No way...They weren't, they couldn't be, but deep in Akemi's mind she knew. "Oh, my..." THEY WERE ROLEPLAYING! The two of them were so in the zone, they really thought that they were enemies. The warm smile the girl gave Akemi was the only break from their game's intensity that they saw. That was all Akemi needed. The smile was warm, kind, and inviting.
It took all of her might not to squeal in glee (because ninjas that most certainly not children, did not squeal like little girls). "They're gonna let me play-err, I mean spar." Now what kind of character should she be? The was obviously the wronged villain attempting revenge. The boy's character seemed more complex, but what she gathered he was essentially the "good" ninja torn between duty and morals. Well, that settled it, she'd be the ninja that was hard edged, badass, and by the book.
It didn't even take the other girl to finish speaking. Akemi already had her game face on. A mask of serious authority; her lips were set in a scowl, her brows furrowed, and her eyes sharp. Within her mind the young kunoichi was the jounin she aspired to be in her dreams. A woman whose very presence was sharp enough to cut people and the way she held herself mirrored it. Authority and power she didn't have oozed off her, nonthreatening but at the same time unyielding.
Stopping next to the boy with confidence she let her piece add to theirs when the other girl finished a not too subtle threat. "Be reasonable, there is no need for a fight. My comrade here just wants you to ask a simple question," as she spoke she unsheathed her sword in a way that made the weapon let drag out in a low hum. Something Akemi hoped sounded as intimidating and serious to them as it did to her. "I ask you at least do that and then we can go from there." Akemi's sword came to rest infront of her, tip honed in on the girl that opposed her and her partner. The naked blade let out a low hum in anticipation, speaking what Akemi herself had left unsaid. 'I'm not afraid. Of anything!'

Kyomu felt a shiver up his back as his opponent continued to speak, whether or not she could carry out her threat successfully was up for a very violent debate, but it was obvious enough that she was not about to concede to answer his question without being forced to. Switching to a backhanded grip on his sword as he was joined by the other girl and still keeping both close by his body he returned the sword to it's sheath. The girl he hoped would be able to back up her bravado, she sounded almost gleeful at the prospect of battle and didn't seem to be taking it altogether seriously. 'She isn't going to respond to reason any more it seems,' truth be told that might have been one of the keys to defeating her. To shut out all other possibilities and continue on with a single course of action.... as he rolled it over in his mind Kyomu became more and more convinced that his opponent must have undergone a horrible experience.
That was no excuse though.
Still holding his sword backhanded, he tightened his grip in preparation for his next draw, but he didn't move off just yet. 'Shinobi of the Hidden Mist do not beg for their lives,' he informed her with quite a great deal more confidence than was usual of him. He supposed that was what he was now and as such he owed not only his Clan but his village too a good showing if nothing else. 'I did warn you however, whatever happens from now on falls at your feet. Whatever suffering befalls from this juncture, remember that you were its aggressor.' With that he was off, drawing his sword as he reached Haku in fluid but plainly obvious move, that was fine, that wasn't supposed to hit home. As his hand reached the apex of its draw he twisted his hand, pointing his sword blade up as he swept it back down towards Haku. In the same moment he drew his sheath from its re-established position at his belt, swinging that up in the same manner he'd drawn his sword. The two strikes at once were meant to create a pincer the his opponent would be much more hard pressed to defend. With such a motion he might have trapped and decapitated an unwary enemy. Unlikely as that was he was aiming for a live capture and so made his enemy's shoulder and hip his respective targets.
He really didn't want to fight this person, but his hand had been forced. He only wished that one of those strong ninja who frequented these grounds would turn up and take the burden off him sometime soon. It was perfectly possible she could, as she said, kill them both and escape unnoticed but the longer she was held up the greater the chance someone would stumble in on the scene. It had already happened after all and two-on-one were much better odds for him.

(if he hits with a senbon the effected limb would be numb below that point for 2 rounds sound fair?) Haku heard him tell the girl that he wouldn't reason and said absolutely nothing. It saddened him that the boy though he was being reasonable and Haku was not. It saddened him too that that was the way of the world. Every one thought that anyone who thought differently then him self was automatically wrong.Haku simply supposed the young ones were misguided in this case. But he felt pride in their loyalty even if he hated the thing to which they were loyal. Actually most people said that about Zabuza and him but with him it was not loyalty it was love pure and simple and a dash of devotion."I would expect it no other way, and I am used to that role.I will take responsibility even if you struck first." Haku smiled at the boy in a warm greeting he was unafraid of what was to come.
It was almost like he was watching in slow motion as both children moved to stand side by side.Haku tensed and shifted back and down as the boy lunged forwarded what he saw as a some what slow and fluid movement. Haku dropped right under his swinging blade crouching almost perpendicular to the ground as the blade went swishing over his head. That set him up for the second part of the attack his shoulder was struck with some force by the scabbard of the sword, ignoring the pain he lunged forward with a plan of his own trying to knock the boy off balance and make him throw his sword as that stance made his sword much less stable. Haku had five senbon in his hand and started striking his lower body with them keep carefully low and avoiding any vital veins and arteries. He didn't want to hurt the boy badly.Haku straightened quickly standing up within the circle of his arms, face to face their foreheads almost touching. He smiled brightly in his face albeit sadly.
Haku put out his hands and placed them on the boys shoulders gently his right shoulder still smarting from the blow. His hand were free of needle those having been expend in his efforts.Haku whispered in his ear."Do what you have to and what you must. It is your duty and i expect nothing less.Good bye." Haku stood calmly in the circle of his arms merely wait knowing that he could stale mate the match very easily from his position. Haku made some specific hand seals with one hand the prevailing moister in the air frozen into tiny shards of ice all around them. He was favoring his right arm and shoulder and was trying to hide his winch of pain as he felt his power flow through his entire body.
